[Denied]Aura's Forum Application (I Know It Hasnt Been 24 Hours, But Please Read The Topic First)

IM SO SORRY THIS HASNT BEEN 24 HOURS YET! I just had gotten the perfect fix to my application and was going to edit it, when it was denied. Please dont immediate deny this, just read it first and if it deserves a normal deny then deny it for 48 hours instead of 24... if thats a problem ignore this until its been 24 hourse. I'm so so so sorry application department

In your own words, define what the act of power-emoting is: Power-emoting is when you would say you did something, but you really didnt do it. An example would be attacking another player and not giving them the chance to type before you kill them. The difference between saying you did something, and actually doing it.

 

In-Character Details

Character Name: Igne Barbu (Fire Hedgehog) Nick: Igne

Character Race: Wood Elf

Character biography - Make this at least 2 paragraphs long, which must explain your character’s history, appearance, personality, age and any other details you deem necessary: 

When you mess with Igne's family or friends, you mess with a(n) ninja/archer (Igne).

 

Igne Barbu was a young elf when he was taught to shoot an arrow, equivalent to age 9 of a human boy. He instantaneously fell in love with the bow. His father was a master archer, while his mother was very quick and excellent at hiding. He learned some skills from both sides of his family. Due to the curse of Iblees, he is an only child. When he was equivalent to the human age of 10, his village was set on fire by an unknown race/person. 10 elves out of 30 survived and fled the village. Igne (obviously) was one of the elves. The other elves with him on the voyage to find a new home taught him about mining, lumberjacking, farming, and fishing. Their voyage was a quite long one but they knew they could find Normandor or some other elf village. 

Igne always carries his bow with him, the Hileia Berr, roughly translated as The Peace Bow or The Bow of Peace. It took Igne and the rest of the elves, a total of 2 human years to get to Normandor. Igne has been their ever since, now taking the appearance and age equal to a 14 year old human boy. Igne isnt exactly a ranger or a ninja.. he simply is a traveler, seeking out those who burned his village and his parents, as he believes they still are alive. He has a strong sense of justice and will take any help and give any help to and from other people, no matter their race, as long as their cause is just. He is greatly offended by traitors, but if something he held dear to him was in the hands of a traitor, he would have to do what they say.

 

What are your characters ambitions?: Igne's ambitions are listed in a top 3, starting with 3

Is there anything else you would like to say about your character: He always carries his Hileia Berr, and forever will be searching for his parents, even if he doesnt seem like it.

 

Open-Response-Questions

Upon entering the Mighty Human City of Arethor, you come across a shop-keeper calling out to sell his wares to passers-by. The shopkeeper is not a Human, he is a poor dwarf looking to make a living in a new city. What is your response? Igne walks to the dwarf and asks "Hey! What do you have for sale?" The dwarf replies "Probably nothing you want, just a few bottles of Ale and Beer" Igne replies, "Yeah, I dont drink often.. almost never. But.." He continues with a whisper, "I'll give you 1,000 minas to help you get off to a start," He says. "Oh thank you, oh thank you! I can live here finally!" The dwarf shouts. Igne replies "Yea, yea your welcome, just dont go buying Ale with that," Igne chuckles as he walks down the street to his original destination, keeping an eye on the dwarf, incase someone tries to ransack him.

 

You’re wandering the Oren Road late at night, when a large Orc begins to threaten a nearby dwarf. There is no help nearby, and the situation looks like it will escalate into violence soon, what does your character do? Igne whips his bow out and yells, "Drop the dwarf!" The Orc turns to Igne and says, "What ya gonna do bout it shorty!" The Orc snickers to himself and thats when Igne strikes the Orc in the arm with his bow. The Orc yowls in pain "Why you little..!" Igne yells to the dwarf "Come on!" and they escape the Orc's line of sight and hide down in a tree/bush.

 

Whilst walking down the road to Malinor, you stumble upon an old man. His walking stick , looks weak and frail, and just as you are about to ask something, the stick breaks, and the man falls to the ground. As he falls down, a bag of Minas falls to the ground, and splits open. As you watch the multiple coins spill out, you peer down at the defenceless man. What does your character do?: Igne says "You know, If I was mean, i'd take those minas right now and leave you there, and if I was evil, I would kill you on the spot. But lucky for you, I'm not like that. Here get up and grab your minas, i'll help you get a new walking stick." Igne helps the old man up off of the ground. The old man grabs his minas, and walks with Igne until they get to a town or village of some sort, which then Igne gets the old man a new walking stick. Igne then ask the oldman "Where are you heading too?" The old man tells him his destination, and Igne helps him get there.

- metagaming defenition is too short

- Power-emoting defenitions is a bit off, you start by giving a right example but then your explanation isn't the same

- 9 is too young to be trained as an archer, this is powergaming

- killed parents and destroyed village is overused, please try something more original

- 2nd ORQ; Orcs don't speak common english, they speak blah and should do so in your ORQ
