Have you ever roleplayed before - if you have, how?: -  I've played dungeons and dragons before, and also played Gildyorm's RP server on minecraft.

Have you been on any other roleplaying servers?: -  Gildyorm's RP server is the only one.

How did you hear about us?: - I was looking for a good RP server on planetminecraft, and found this.

What do you think the server will be like? -  I feel as if it'll be exceptionally fun, for I've seen a good amount of playerbase and an amazing forums.

Have you read and agreed to the rules?: - I have, and I agree.

What’s your favourite rule / the rule you agree with the most?: -  No meta-gaming, I hate that.

 

Definitions

 

This is simply so that we can get an understanding of how much you know about roleplaying. Feel free to Google the answers, but make sure that you write the reply in your own words, not Google’s.

 

What is roleplaying?: -  Roleplaying is when you play as someone else, basically go in a fictional character's shoes and play their life.  You have to act out every scenario as your character would, not how you would in real life.

 

What’s metagaming?: -  It is when you basically cheat, you use information from out of the game and use it to your advantage in game. For example, if you're talking to someone OOCly, and they give you coordinates to help you in game.

 

What’s powergaming?: - When you overpower your character just to have the purpose of winning. You should be able to accept defeat, and not try to make your character a godly being. Example: Someone punches you in the face but instead, you dodge it and turn into zeus and turn him into a dog.

 

In-Character Information

 

Now you actually make your character - be creative but stay reasonable! Make sure they make sense and that they follow lore. Try to come up with a character that you actually want to play.

 

What’s your character called?: -  Dingo Elric.

 

What race are they (and sub-race)?: - Human.

 

What sex are they?: - Male.

 

How old are they?: -  21.

 

Give us a brief description of their life - their story, childhood, family: -  Dingo was an average boy as a child, growing up with a happy family and what not. He lived in a small farm, with not much there. It was a farmhouse with only chickens and a wheat field, with the exception of his mother’s garden.  Dingo was an only child, living a happy life. His mother was a saint, standing at a short height with weak, wrinkled face. She helped a lot in the field, as did Dingo. She would spend her time tending to her beloved garden and cooking.
    Dingo was generally happy, with little to no worries in his life.  As he grew, he became more bored. The same life of living in a pasture wasn’t enough, he wanted more. He often began leaving his home, entering the staggering city of Abresi. Dingo began going to the library, studying a topic about alchemy. He was interested from the start of the new science, thinking it was spectacular. Often caught taking the books home, he’d continue to study. Scraping up some money for ingredients and tools, finding what is needed to begin his alchemy. His mother thought nothing of it.. But, his father didn’t encourage it. The father thought it was work of witchcraft, as he despised all types of magic in Anthos, often yelling at people that use magic thinking they’re all apart of the Mages Guild.
    Dingo didn’t care, he continued to go to the Abresi Library, reading the wonderful ingredients used in alchemy and reading its history. He often fantasized, bragging that his favorite is the Daemon type of alchemy, or telling stories of the famous Gijaklul.
    Years passed as he continued his research at the age of 20. Dingo was in the cellar one evening as he sat in the cellar, conjuring a new experiment towards healing ointments. He ignored the shouts of his parents screaming at each other upstairs, obviously a fight. Dingo didn’t like it, so he simply ignored it and continued his experiment. As he began to cut the Tipensroot with a small letter opener, he heard the barging of footsteps stomping down the stairs. He quickly turned around as his father was standing, yelling back at the stairs”Is this what your son needs?! Stupid, fuckin’, magic?!”. His father was very red, obviously steaming. He pushed Dingo to the side, grabbing at his desk, and throwing it against the wall. Dingo gasped, stepping back as he cupped his hands over his mouth. Speechless, he watched the tyranny of his father continue to stomp on the glass vials, breaking the equipment.

Days pass as Dingo rested, laying down outside as his parents worked the field. He decided one night that he would run away, planning the schematics to the plan out. Once the night came, he abided his promise. Gathering whatever leftover from his alchemy ingredients, he left. Cowering from the dark night, he slept in a lit alleyway of Abresi until morning arrived. As dawn broke, he left as well. Stopping only to eat and drink, he made his way past the large cities, such as Salvus. He pursued his dreams of being an alchemist, judging from the knowledge he has.
    

 

What are they like (personality)?: -  Dingo is usually a happy man, constantly making jokes. He only falls sad whenever the topic of his parents are brought up, but usually changes the subject.

 

What are their ambitions?: -  To gain more knowledge in alchemy in his travel, hopefully being able to teach others as well. He thinks he may perhaps someday attend a school, or stumble upon a place in need of his skills.

 

Do they have any special skills?: -  He has a high knowledge of alchemy, having an ability to use his chemistry skills to his advantage.

 

What are their weaknesses?: -  Although he prefers not to fight, he probably cannot win any fight. Fighting in general is a weakness of his, for he has little skill towards it.

 

What do they look like?: -  An average sized man, heaving a red jacket along with black clothing under and heavy botos. Blonde hair, matching his hazel eyes.

 

Anything else you want to say about them?: -  He is a complete rip-off of fullmetal alchemist, I’m so sorry about that but it just seems like amazing RP.

Note: Sorry, I'd just like to ask if you're supposed to RP making the alchemy elixar or whatever, and then message a mod asking for an actual MC potion to it? Thanks a lot! :)
