I don't think NPCs should be removed, considering that we paid real money for them. At least not unless VIPs get perks to replace them, either that or the possibility of a refund.

Wronging the Rights of the Past [Snow Elven Removal]
BimboBudgie replied to ScreamingDingo's topic in Announcements
What the flip is the point of outright removing a whole sub-race? Can’t you just let them do their own thing? Like, ffs, retconning lore is just downright retarded. It adds NOTHING to the server. In fact, it just fiddles with the lore, like “ThEy NeVeR eXiStEd lOl”. There should at least be a proper RP reason as to why their race was just completely transformed. On top of that, snelves have been trying to rebuild their player base in Sirinor, or whatever it’s called. It just seems unfair to those players that do play snelves. -
Bernadette Augusta greeted her brother in the seven heavens, wrapping her arms around him tightly as they have been reunited. “We have some catching up to do...” Winter Pomnite DeNurem pursed her lips as she heard of her uncle’s passing. The thought plagued her the entire day. She wondered if he had done it on purpose to be with his wife once more- somehow. Maybe poison, she thought. As she sat down to eat in her apartment in Haense, she began to chuckle as it hit her that another relative she cared for has passed. Those chuckles soon turned into hysterical sobs that lasted throughout the night. She lit a final candle in his memory, hoping he finds peace...

THE UNICORN KNIGHT stood by his side patiently, wary and fearful of getting a stale baguette to the helm once more. “So be it, sire, Let us rally tae flowies!” She told, clenching a fist before bringing it down over her heart, proud to be in the gang, wanting nothing more than to tag.

This song was written by a very special elf for the citizens and visitors of Norland, warning them about mysterious yellow snow. Heed her warning, for she has learned from experience. This parchment could be found around Arcas, available for those looking for it. Though the poem would seem trash to some, someone has clearly put a lot of thought and effort into it. Yellow Snow I have searched high, I have searched low I came upon some yellow snow. Do not eat the yellow snow. ‘Cause it might make your belly glow. The Highland realm is a real nice place, It is home to the Highland race. Igniter Adzy is the best. He really likes my elven face. Please come to Norland, our time is nigh, I wrote this poem when I was high. I may be slow, but one thing I know Eating yellow snow is the lowest of the low. Lift your head and feel the wind blow. Remember friends that if yellow snow you’ll see Keep in mind it’s made from pee Somewhere near the Ashwood tree... Remember to treat yellow snow as if it was litter. It looks so sweet, but it’s really bitter. There is only one sole Norlandic Sh*tter... Written by: Linnete Curnow

Could have a paid warp system, with fees and a cooldown to fast travel from one settlement to another, perhaps through an NPC.

Auralia Sokolov sat in her cell “Twinkle twinkle, little star. Finding Nemo’s gone too far.”

Honestly, I rarely see people actually using ranged weapons for CRP, I think it’s mostly ‘cause of the emotes it takes to load the damn things. A wall or maybe some thick fantasy shield could do the job of blocking a bullet, maybe.

I think the main issue people seem to have with it is powergaming, from scanning through some of the comments. My 2 cents on the matter is: Powergaming is against the rules. Firearms wouldn’t make powergaming easier or harder. You can powergame with a sword. You can powergame with a rock. You can powergame with magic. You can powergame with just about anything. Hatersgonnahateguns.parchment That’s just my own subjective opinion on the matter.

Guns, I think yes. Flintlock pistols, muskets and other early firearms could be implemented, I think. But, I mean, I don’t expect to see them being effective in CRP. Especially with the emotes it takes to reload a crossbow, bow etc. I’d say a firearm would require even more than that. However, cool things and scenarios could take place as I see them having a place in military drills, executions and so on.

“I want to speak with my lawyer.” a poor soul cried out from the ISA jail in hopes of summoning Sir Humphrey.

“Thanks, I’m just exploring, sir-“ Em says, returning a smile, “An adventure is what I am after.” She added happily.
