  1. i think sexism rp is bad not only bc does it not usually have the nuance the topic requires but people often use it as an outlet for legitimate irl sexism. same reason i thought irp homophobia was bad.

thats not a sexism problem thats a romance rper weirdo problem. it requires rules against that sort of roleplay and rules explicitly saying that if someone oocly tells you not to romance rp w u or be weird w u, u need to stop. and not stopping should get u shot. It is not a problem solved with some sort of 'sexism rp' rule. It is a problem solved with rules specifically directed towards dealing with bad conduct by players generally. The instances cheese describes r harassment, plain and simple, and mods can prolly get involved if some1 is making u uncomfortable and not ******* off.

People are not doing weird creepy romance rp because they're doing sexist rp. they're doing it bc theyre a ******* oocly a creepy weirdo. Rules should deal with the creepy weirdo-ism, describing it as sexism and that it needs fixing with anti-sexism stuff is just misdiagnosing and proscribing the wrong treatment. The treatment for that sort of weirdness is not anti-sexism rules. It is anti-weirdo-ism rules and beating weirdos with hammers.
