The Count of Pacidia's granddaughter -- kept secret from the world as a matter of safety, due to the fragility of her father's noble lineage following the collapse of Yong Ping -- would be read the missive by her governess at the breakfast table. An intrigued smile crossed the girl's face as she sipped at her apple juice; she would have to meet these cousins.

An elderly Rosius’s hands would begin to tremble as she read the signature of some relative of hers, along with that of an Ireheart. “Grigoryi dear, can you believe this?! For shame, for shame. My mother would have had the foolish girl locked up for something like this…! What has my family come to?” She called to her husband, recounting the time she had briefly been held captive by an Ireheart as a child. @1_Language_1

The incredibly petty Former-Mistress-of-the-Wardrobe would ignore the dossier, choosing instead to focus on her preparations for the upcoming Balianite Social Season. “This whole affair leaves me disgusted… I cannot believe Renilde would manipulate me in such a way to cover up her own wrongdoings. I feel as if I need to seek penance when I have done nothing wrong.” She commented to herself nonetheless; preparing a pen and parchment to catch her only remaining friend, the King of Haense, up to speed on her whereabouts and what had transpired prior to the scandal becoming public.

Laetitia Henrietta, though purely neutral in the matter, would have heard the news by accident through her familial ties to Constanz's Round Table -- as she was staying at camp in hopes of finding adventure (in other words, jewelry and other trinkets to purchase.)
The former seamstress, who moments before had been peacefully feeding leftover scraps of meat and fish to the many stray cats present in the area; would gasp and look up in response to the words uttered.
"May the best man win." Was all she had to say, shaking her head as she tossed a final scrap of tuna to the cats.

After months had passed and she began to recover, Laetitia would slowly start to be seen out and about more in Balian, even without a wheelchair!

"I do feel for them, I hope all will not be lost when this is all over. -- GOD knows our family devolved to infighting for decades after the Brothers War."
Laetitia would comment idly to her mother, from some spa in Balian that had luckily survived Cloudbreaker's siege. They were watching the sunset, cocktails in hand after a long day of prayer for those at home in Petra. "But at this rate in this war? I think we'd all be better off if they both abdicated and were barred from political involvement -- even exiled, if it came to it, -- and elect one of their children to the Archducal throne. Whoever the Knight Paramount is now would be a reasonable choice for a regent, non?" The ever-blunt Seamstress remarked, seeing no point in softening her words when she was simply speaking to her mother. Or perhaps, and more likely, it was the alcohol. "It would stop the fighting, at least!" At that, a cheeky grin would cross her lips.

To the parties involved,
Having looked through census records, I have found that Dante Py'lrie is a high elf of Celia'nor. It is well-known that for a human and elf to intermix is a grave sin, for the crime of interbreeding spawns crippled, twisted offspring. It was never meant for human and elf to join in flagrant violation of the Holy Ceremony of Matrimony, modeled after the union of Horen and Julia. It is for this reason that the requested wedding between Dante Py'lrie and Laetitia Rhodon de Rosiuset Abbassia is DENIED on grounds of miscegenation. Furthermore, Miss Laetitia Rhodon de Rosiuset Abbassia is hereby barred from receiving the services of the Chapel of Saint Emma of Woldzmir until she comes forth to repent and take confession.
The scheduled wedding between Björn Mösu and Emma Rhodon de Rosius appears to clear all checks of validity, and may be conducted at the requested time.

Laetitia would awake from a deep slumber from her new home in Balian to hear the shocking truth — that her newly ex-fiancé, who she had never met due to the arranged marriage aspect of their engagement and the distance between the nations which they reside in — was in fact, not Adunian like she had been led to believe; and in fact an Elf! The mortified young woman would then be wheeled to the Basilica Sorella by her mother so she could repent.

Laetitia held her mother's hand, now, in Balian -- where they had made their escape to following the trial. "It will be okay soon, Maman." She offered as reassurance, a weak smile crossing her lips. "Soon the war will be over and we can live in peace once more."

A Seamstress’s Rest
It is with great displeasure that the households of Rhodon de Rosius and Rosius-d’Abbassia announce the medical confinement of Lady Laetitia Henrietta Rhodon de Rosius et Abbassia, Mistress of the Wardrobe to the River Court, more commonly known as 'Lottie'.
Shortly after learning of the current political situation, she collapsed in her home. It has been determined that the stress of both the dispute and the tremendous workload of preparing for the upcoming ‘River Rendezvous’ caused an inflammation of the heart condition she has suffered from since birth; yet kept secret to avoid the worrying of others.
Lady Laetitia’s current condition is stable, though she has been ordered to remain on bedrest until further notice. She shall be allowed to receive guests, though due to the current situation this has been limited to family only. Additionally, she shall be allowed to send and receive letters, in limited capacity, and at the discretion of her family.
It is asked that speaking of the ongoing conflict be avoided in her presence.

Laetitia would hold her sisters and mother close, unsure of what t0 d0 in the face of such monumental chaos.

“Aye.” Replied Renilde’s Mistress of the Wardrobe, herself the illegitimate great-niece of the Pontiff himself.

Laetitia would smile, having read the missive while resting after a long day procuring gowns for the debut of herself and her sisters.
