In the past, in the era of Arcas and Almaris, mali’ kind stood as the pillars of progress and innovation. They had an ambition, one filled with goals and objectives that revolved around their people and their involvement within their home, land, and society prospered during these times. It was this prosperity that sparked the embers of ambition and led the Mali’ to a future filled with much progress within their own realms and caused growth within their families. Order, Justice, Prosperity, and most of all determination. These four fruits symbolise Maehr’nors greatest ambition. To fulfill the needs of her people and those who aspire to share the ambition with it too.

Such is the Council of Torin. Just like the constellation, continuously shining stagnant authority and leadership. The council maintains order and is the fine red tape against lawlessness. Their duty lies within those who serve the crown's will and wishes.

The council was created during 184 of The Second Age as a means to maintain authority within the insides of Maehr’nor. In the means to construct the vassal Xavier Adiler, gathered his greatest minds and allies to form an advisory who would assist him in the decision making of the land. Whilst also maintaining the land's laws and integrity.

[Oti, spirit of eternal moonlight, wisdom, and guider of lost souls, lesser of Luara]

In the ancient land of Rah'tuma, there dwelled a deity known as Oti, the god of the night and moonlight.

Oti was born to Ka'tau and became the younger brother of Ra. He inherited the gift of radiance, yet he chose to wander the heavens under the cover of darkness, for he found solace in the silent embrace of the night.

As the guardian of the nocturnal realm, Oti watched over the land with eyes that shimmered like pools of liquid silver. He wove his ethereal light through the tapestry of the sky, guiding lost souls and illuminating the path of travelers who ventured forth under the cloak of darkness.

The people of Rah’tuma revered Oti as a symbol of protection and guidance. They built shrines in his honor, where they offered prayers and sacrifices to ensure his favor and blessings upon their nocturnal endeavors.

Following Oti, the god of the night and moonlight, offered believers a connection to the mysteries of the night, protection in darkness, and access to hidden knowledge and intuition. However, Oti was a selfish, jealous, and demanding god.

Kyro accepted these facts long ago when the god of moonlight not only guided him for decades but also saved his life. After being guided back to his people, he devoted himself to being Oti’s high priest. Now, he found himself atop a mountain, awaiting the moonlight god to speak.

"Kyro, child of the moonlit path," Oti began, his voice like a gentle breeze rustling through the leaves, "you have served faithfully in my name, yet I sense turmoil within you—a tempest that threatens to cloud your devotion."

Kyro bowed his head, his hands clasped before him. "Great Oti, I am troubled, indeed. My spirit is restless, and I fear I am failing in my duties to you."

Oti's gaze was penetrating yet not without compassion. "In the quiet of the night, when all the world lies sleeping, the heart speaks its truest language. It is time for you to embark on a journey not of the body, but of the spirit. You must learn the discipline of silence, to listen deeply to the whispers of the night and the wisdom it holds. From this moment forth, you shall not speak; you must communicate only through your actions and your intentions. However, you are allowed to speak in ritual speech when it is needed. This silence will be your sanctuary and your challenge. In this, you shall hold your devotion to me; you shall not devote yourself to any other, and should you utter the name of my fellow deities, you must come before me and repeat the oath you have sworn to me."

Kyro nodded, understanding the weight of the task bestowed upon him. Speaking no words, he felt the immediate effect of his new vow of silence.

    𝒯𝒽𝑒 𝒞𝓇𝑒𝒶𝓉𝒾𝑜𝓃:

𝔐aerh’nor, born from the depths of longing and nurtured by compassion, stands as a beacon of hope amidst the tumult of a fractured world. In its embrace, the lost find solace, the outcast find acceptance, and the broken find healing. It is more than just a place; it is a sanctuary where individuals are celebrated for their uniqueness rather than shunned for their differences.

The Adiler Talonnii, touched by the yearning for belonging that resonated within their hearts, heeded the silent call of those in need. United in their vision, they sought to manifest a haven where the dispossessed could find refuge. So they undertook the monumental task of crafting a haven for all elves—a realm where diversity is cherished as a wellspring of wisdom and the stigma of mixed heritage is rendered obsolete.

In Maehr’nor, the tapestry of cultures interweaves harmoniously, each thread contributing to the vibrant mosaic of collective identity. Here, individuals are not defined by the circumstances of their birth, but rather by the richness of their experiences and the depth of their character. It is a testament to the transformative power of empathy and the boundless potential of unity.

Within the verdant embrace of Maehr’nor, a new chapter unfolds- a testament to the enduring resilience of the Elven spirit and the unwavering commitment to forging a brighter tomorrow, where all are welcomed with open arms and embraced as kin.

And so a banner flies as a symbol of a new beginning.

    The Architecture

Embrace and celebrate differences as they contribute to the richness of our community, fostering unity rather than discord. Extend a courteous nod or a warm smile as a gesture of mutual respect when encountering one another. Exercise prudence in communication, refraining from impulsive emotional outbursts which may diminish one's maturity.

Embrace a sense of self-worth and dignity, refraining from diminishing oneself or others, but rather fostering an environment of empowerment and support. Embrace inclusivity, rejecting all forms of discrimination, mockery, or judgement, and extending aid to those in need without hesitation.

    Attire

Crafted from silks dyed in shades of whites, reds, oranges, and yellows, these garments boast a rich palette that symbolises vitality and warmth.

Each piece is adorned with delicate lace, flowing trails, or capes made from voile, adding layers of texture and movement to the attire. The combination of these elements creates a sense of lightness and fluidity, evoking a feeling of airiness and freedom.

To complement these ethereal ensembles, silver jewellery is carefully chosen as accessories, adding a touch of sophistication and refinement. The intricate patterns and designs of the jewellery echo the intricate detailing of the clothing, tying the entire ensemble together harmoniously.

Overall, the traditional clothing of Maehr'nor is not only a feast for the eyes but also a reflection of the cultural values of elegance, tradition, and grace. It stands as a testament to the craftsmanship and artistry of its creators, embodying the spirit of the land and its people.

  5. Azra looked at the letter in disbelief. He read it over and over, trying to find some fault in it that would prove it was a joke, but after he traveled to his family's home in Vortice, only to find it empty, that's when reality hit him hard. His mother was indeed gone.

Maybe if he hadn't shut himself out from the world and paid more attention to those around him, he would have seen his mother's struggles; he could have prevented this. He took things for granted, knowing that his mother would always be there, but now... she's not.

As the world fell apart around him and his heart broke into countless pieces, Azra fell to the floor of his once lively home; no one heard his cries or saw his tears.

    "Kae am so llun, Haelun..."

  6. Xavier went on a trip to gather up some herbs; however, he didn't expect to come across the sight that would turn life around for him. There on the beachside was not only a dead bandit but his brother as well; it was as if time stood still as panic ran through Xavier's body. He took a small step forward that changed into a sprint toward where Pharon lay. Xavier fell to his knees beside his brother's lifeless body and checked for a pulse as a last spark of hope that snuffled out as quickly as it came. "No, no, no. Why did I let you leave without me? I should have come with you."

    Guilt, pain, anger, and sadness
It all hit Xavier at once as he wept next to Pharon's body. The last words he spoke to his brother echoed in his mind.

"Stars guide you, Pharon, wherever you may go."

  7. I remember you joining the server around the same time I did but I got to see you "Grow up" from this teen with a high-pitched voice to a young man with ambition.
I've started seeing you as a little brother not just as a friend, I am also happy that I got the chance to throw an Adiler character at you, and I will do it again.

I wish you all the best Trooper
    And don't be a stranger.

  8. Xavier Adiler rides past the keep of white marble walls that he has called home for so many decades, smiling fondly at it as memories of the Adiler's time in the Commonwealth played in his mind, from moving into an abandoned keep owned by Petra back on Almaris to becoming an honorable noble house that has struggled alongside the Commonwealth through wars and hardships.
"I do hope this is not the end of our chapter with Petra; I have yet to give Catherine all her long-overdue gifts."

-To give thanks to the lights that have guided us-

The war has come to an end, and peace now blossoms. Through the years of bloodshed and struggle, our hope remained strong, and our faith in the stars grew even stronger.
We have all suffered through the same hardships. But now we can put those behind us and look forward to a brighter future.

So now it is time to celebrate our peace's victory and thank the stars for their guidance and protection. Maehr'nors gates open for us to join together to share a day of laughter and joy amongst friends and family, sing and dance to music provided by the spectacular performers from Vailu Valmiran, and share stories over food and drinks provided by our tavern.

    This is our well-earned peace.

What magic(s) will you be teaching?

             Alchemy

Describe this magic or a creature as a whole:

Alchemy can be defined as the ''science'' or study of all matter and mundane energy in the material world; its purpose is to understand and manipulate the natural.

Alchemy has a core aspect, which is the symbols extracted from reagents. There are different forms of extraction methods: mundane (the normal extraction method) or elemental extractions: fire, water, air, earth, and aether.

Alchemy has also branched off into further studies beyond just making potions, such as machinery, prosthetics, and even changes to one's flesh. It is truly a broad study and can continue to grow through research.

Are there different sections or subsections of magic? Can those be elaborated upon?

Yes, there are; some require their own FA's, while others extend recipes to basic alchemy.

Tawkins and Animati are some of the further studies of alchemy that require FA’s.

Alchemic additions such as lectors alchemy and essential oils are extensions of basic alchemy and don’t require FA’s.

Can you give an example of a casting emote, of a spell of your choice?

    (Flash Powder)

Xavier would place down on the table 1 nightglow (2x Light) 1 jailors moss (1x Chaos) and 1 serpents stalk (1x death). He placed the jailors moss on the cutting board and proceeded to cut it up. Placing the chopped-up reagent into a mortar, he poured a small amount of Aqua Vitae in and used a pestle to grind the two ingredients together until he was left with a mushy texture. He set the mortar aside and repeated the same process with the serpents stalk and nightglow in separate mortars. Once done, he carried the mortars to a stove to set them on individual pots of boiling water, then waited for the liquid to evaporate until a powder was left.

Taking each mortar off the pots and setting them back down on the table, Xavier gets a tray and sieve. He picks up the mortar with the serpents stalk powder and sieves it through to separate the powder from the symbols. He then took tweezers to pick out 1x Death, setting it aside and disregarding the other symbols and powder. He did this process with the jailors moss powder, picking out 1x Choas. Next was the nightglow powder, picking out 2x light.

Xavier placed the 1x Choas and 1x Death symbols onto a piece of paper, then crushed the symbols together into a powder. He soaked the 2x light symbols in water before placing them on the piece of paper as well. Carefully,  he folded the paper into a pocket and wrapped a thin wire of metal around it, finishing off the paper snap of flash powder.

Can you give an example of a teaching-emote (interacting with another) of a spell of your choice?

Xavier claps his hands together. “Right, for today's lesson, we will be doing a water extraction.” He gestures to a table that has a line of different reagents on it. “I need you to pick out the reagent that holds the water symbol; we covered which ones they were the other day." The apprentice steps over to the table and glances at the reagents before picking up a Barrier Bush. Xavier gave a single nod to confirm it was correct. “Now get a bowl, fill it with water, and let the reagent soak in it,” he explained and watched as the apprentice did just that. “It’s a simple extraction because the reagent is already soaked in a liquid; when you grind it down into mush, there is no need to add Aqua Vitae." Xavier explained further; he then fetched a bowl that already had an Aque Nympth soaking in it. “Take this and mush it up in a mortar." The apprentice took the bowl, placing the reagent in a mortar and grinding it down into a mush. Xavier then explained the next step: “Instead of putting it over boiling water to evaporate into a powder, you are going to evenly spread the mixture out onto a sheet and place it by a window or open air for the sun to do the evaporation.” The apprentice took out a sheet and poured the mixture onto it, spreading it out evenly and placing it down by a window that had sunlight shining through it. Xavier then nodded in approval. “Once it has evaporated, you will be left with the water symbol. This is also why prep is a good thing; plan out your potions for the day so you can do extractions like this ahead of time.”

Say your student powergames during or after teaching, how do you reprimand that?

I would discuss it oocly and mention what they did wrong along with how to correct it, friendly and open communication is key to teaching, sometimes there are misunderstandings and it’s important to find out what went wrong and where. Maybe I didn’t explain something correctly or maybe my student tried to find a shortcut, whatever the case may be it must get noticed and fixed. If the student continues to powergame then I would drop them and report it.
