  1. My advice is to develop thicker skin because there's a line between banter, (very - in this case) deserved criticism towards you and outright toxicity and I've seen you get very upset at all three. If someone is genuinely harassing you, and moderation doesnt put an end to it - just leave. There's nothing keeping you here, it's a video game that in the grand scheme of things will have a negligible impact on you. You aren't ever going to get rid of the shitheads that say slurs for shock value - they will always be present pretty much everywhere. Even you, yourself have been known to say just a few hateful things about "cis" men (https://imgur.com/a/r1jgGao). Honestly from my perspective your behavior is just as bad as the very people you're condemning in this post and all credibility you have is pretty much nill. Racists are bad, but so are people like you who hide behind a blanket of 'it's okay I only make fun of cis men and thats fine' and act like your own behavior isnt just as disgusting. If you cannot see that, I've nothing further to add to this subject. Be more respectful and don't feed the trolls.
  2. I genuinely believe I'm one of the most active low-rank military personnel/town guard players on the server. I legit just do guard/police/soldier rp all day but I still go out of my way to avoid gate duty. That shit blows because it's a bootleg Papers Please experience that no one wants to do except for maybe the one or two turbo nerds that always volunteer for it but even they get worn out by it. Its a rp server - and whilst yes doing gate duty is technically rp - I don't care. It's boring and I just browse memes on my phone and wait to copy and paste the same NPC dialogue to the next poor schmuck that just wants to go refill his shop chests.
  3. Felix looks down to the dispatch, and his face blanks as he thought about the whole ordeal. He'd have to ask if it was his duty as a member of the Brotherhood to make an effort to present himself to the court. He hoped not. Anyways, he went back to arresting the thief he was kneeling on in Haense square as he read the letter.
  4. Felix chuckled as he had a random passer-by read him the news whilst he was on patrol. "Can't wait to meet the new members of the Brotherhood."
  5. As a new player I'll provide perhaps a fair and fresh look at the current state as I've currently seen them with no previous biases spanning a decade. I've been very active for my first three days and I've roleplayed with everything from established kings, to vagabonds, to freshies just like me. It's a mixed bag. Most - about 75% of people will give you genuine rp if you actually go out of your way to contribute something, not just a "hello". Just yesterday I assisted in an arrest with my fellow officer and we pulled the guy into a drunk tank and we had a chat about him - and decided not to press charges on him as he was already a drunk wretch. Later, I was sat by myself in a bar. Later, that fellow officer - who was a stranger at the time bought me a drink and we had a wholesome chat. It was truly GREAT rp. Other times- I'm flatly, and outright ignored by groups of up to 3/4 people even in a casual setting such as bars/taverns. It just happens - nothing you can do to change that. I also saw a guy in the Haense square the other day. There was like 20+ people there, and like 5 different interesting storylines were going on. I saw the guy log on, walk over to a chair - and sit down. Surprise surprise - no one even bothered to talk to him because he was too anxious to get up and say hello to someone so he sat in the same spot silently for 30 minutes, got bored and logged off- and that was his fault. So in total, there are three reasons I can see why you cant find rp: Your timing is wrong/youre not offering anything interesting. (This is the majority.) People are chuds and wont let anyone into their clique. (A tiny minority, but it's the thing that clearly makes people the most angry when it does happen.) You're being too nervous and blaming everyone else. (The silent majority.) Otherwise - most of the time if you just go do something, you'll get rp. You cant just expect people to add to your experiences without adding anything in return.

Felix takes a moment to stare in awe at the world unfolding before him. He'd never seen such things in his life! And the smells - he could practically taste the whole wide world all around him as his senses were bombarded with the aromatic delicacies of the far-flung lands that these goods hailed from. He was suddenly snapped out of his trance as his gaze snapped to the gentleman who had beckoned him. He'd never met a noble before but this guy certainly looked the part. Was he supposed to bow? Felix took the moment to lower himself to the occasion, bowing ungraciously and unceremoniously. "Greetings your- high-ness?" Felix could feel as if he was making a fool of himself. Nevertheless, he replied with confidence. "Those all sound lovely but for now it's just work - or the lack-there-of to be more precise..." He trailed off, looking at all the stalls filled with things that, he estimated he would never be able to afford.
