Vote for Roui. Vote for Prosperity. [Campaign]
SethWolf replied to MakeshiftFoxxo's topic in Kingdom of Hanseti-Ruska
As Felix was arresting a drunkard with a knee on their back, he noticed one of the campaign flyers pinned to a wall. "Hear that?! Roui's running for Maer!" He called down to the drunkard as he wrenched them up to take them to the dungeons and began to talk his ear off about why the drunkard should vote for him.- 1 reply

FELIX WEISS FOR MILITARY TRIBUNE [!] A portrait of Captain Felix Weiss in his BSK formal greys during his time as Tribune and Lord Handler. Brothers and sisters of our majesty’s Brotherhood of Saint Karl, I, Felix Weiss do hereby announce my intentions to run for my second term as Military Tribune. A commoner by birth, I was drafted into the Brotherhood as an initiate by Karl III and within that time the Brotherhood has become everything that I hold dear, second only to my very own family. As Royal Captain, Palatine Guard, Bannerbearer of the Hussars, or Tribune I have made it my life’s purpose that anything I shall do, should be in the purpose of furthering the Brotherhood’s prestige and standing within the kingdom of Hanseti-Ruska. Qualifications I was not always a captain, and I did not achieve such a rank quickly. I spent my career slowly working up the ranks to learn the intricacies of each position I was assigned to so that I could more adequately serve my superior officers and military as a whole. Attention to detail and strict self-discipline allowed myself to become indispensable no matter the post I was stationed to. When I became captain, Lord Marshal Sviatoslav tasked me with assisting in the streamlining and draining of the needless bureaucracy within the Brotherhood, a task that took much work but now the long neglected positions in the Brotherhood are filled, and we now have a new generation of eager officers who wish to serve. I also served as Head Palatine Guard under the late Lady Palatine Johanna Barclay, working alongside her as a friend and close advisor on matters of the Brotherhood and national security. Then comes my most obvious qualification, in that this will hopefully be my second term as your Tribune. I have spent my previous term fighting for our rights in the Duma, thwarting bills that I believed would harm our nation and Brotherhood, and assisting in the passing of bills that would benefit us, such as the Medical Compensation and Advisory Bill by Royal Alderwoman Adelajda vs Ruthern which will provide replacement limbs and digits to Brotherhood soldiers who lost them in the line of duty. Agenda and Ideals As your Military Tribune, I will continue to do just as I have done before. The Brotherhood in my mind must remain a strong and self-reliant entity within the Aulic Government so that when the time arises we may defend not only our rights as citizens of this great kingdom but our friends and loved ones from those who wish to see them harmed. In my second term I wish to see the Brotherhood be granted the right to court martial soldiers who have broken the Brotherhood’s code of conduct and expand our autonomy so that we may be more flexible in our ability to handle events as they arise. There are of course a handful of bills that we seek to pass, but at the moment they must remain unspoken of in a public manner as they are currently being revised and discussed by the officer core and Lord Marshal to be made more presentable to the Duma. However, I promise you that before any bills go to the floor I will personally see to it that every soldier will have their chance to see them in writing and bring forth any concerns that they may have, as my office has always been open to any soldier who wishes to have their opinions heard. Thank you all for your continued trust in me. I hope to continue to serve to the best of my ability, but the choice is now in the hands of my fellow comrades. May the Brotherhood last ten thousand years. Signed, Royal Captain Felix Weiss, Military Tribune and Lord Handler of his Majesty’s Duma.

NOMINATIONS FOR THE 454 E.S GENERAL ELECTIONS
SethWolf replied to Office of the Lord Speaker's topic in Royal Duma
Felix finally climbed out of his bed in the trauma center, and made his way home. He had work to do as Tribune still yet. He sat in his office, and began to pen a missive. -
[PK] BORROWED PLACES, AND LONG LOST FACES
SethWolf replied to Zaerie's topic in Kingdom of Hanseti-Ruska
Felix was still recovering in the trauma center, his left arm still freshly severed. As he read the missive, he had to force his eyes to continue to scan the missive. When his name was directly mentioned, Felix could not stomach it anymore. His eyes slammed shut and the warrior began to quietly weep. His tears stained the ink of the parchment, but he forced himself to read the final words before crumpling the parchment and covered his face in his one remaining hand. "Johanna, not you...Ea should have been there with you." The palatine guard mourned his old friend who had given him so many fond memories in life. "I should have been there with you." He said once more as he continued to quietly weep, running his hand through his hair as his mind tried to go back to fonder memories of a young Brotherhood initiate. The day in Reinmar, when he beat her in a friendly game of Ur, and his life changed forever. Things were so much simpler back then. But with the death of Johanna, Felix believes those days will never return. He held his palatial brooch in his hand, and ran in his thumb over it. He hoped to see her again one day. In a place where there would be no paperwork, pressure, or political opinion. Only beautiful rose fields and warm summer air. -
This is a great question and I hope I'm smart enough to answer it coherently. Well, overall I think LotC is generally pretty fantastic. Roleplay aside, it's the community that makes it for me. I've had maybe one bad spat with someone in the four months I've been here. Everyone else has been nothing but open and friendly to me. People are always asking to play games, hop on and roleplay, and people are extremely accepting of you if you're willing to open up a little and make friends. Before I joined, I was warned that NLs and royalty were going to be the most awful, cliquey and snobby people I'd ever meet, but I've yet to meet someone high up in the social ladder that hasnt been anything but friendly and welcoming to me, infact more than a few of them I now consider my dear good friends. I've only been a Haenser, I don't know what it's like in other nations but I'd wager that the same is true for them aswell. I do have a couple issues though; not saying there's a fix cause I sure as hell don't have one but they've been consistently present during my time here. These are: As it stands, I think people are way too fast to allow for character bleed-over. In-character conflict can quickly spiral into ooc toxicity. It really is a massive pain in the ass and these people are the worst part of the server for me. They don't bring anything to the community except headache. Now that is just my own personal opinion, and I'm typically very quiet about it. People are also very scared to lose and are quick to call the mods if something they wanted to do doesn't work out. I'm sick of doing guard roleplay and having to rule-lawyer with a mod for two hours to arrest a guy that tried to do something illegal in public in the middle of Karosgrad square and he gets angry and calls for the jannies. Like, my guy you just tried to stab me infront of the entire city with like seven eye-witnesses and you're trying to 1v4 a bunch of heavily armed guards, just take the loss and move on. Finally I think the server is ruled a bit too oocly. I'm actually perfectly fine with a little ooc stuff, but it's very noticable when there's too much of it. I don't think implementing rules banning things like ooc trade will help at all. People will just make private servers and not tell the mods about it. That's my like, 'review' of LotC as it currently sits. Hope it was insightful!

Thanks man! You too! Performance-wise on a technical level, it's pretty good. I have a 2060 and I get a solid 60 on medium if I turn off ray tracing. But even then, medium still looks fantastic. The graphic design team clearly put a lot of work into player-friendly optimization. If you mean how's it doing overall, I'd say Darktide is probably the best 40k game to have ever come out. I hope it'll bring a lot of new people to 40k and give studios more of a reason to make more games in the genre. Good question! Favorite places, from greatest to least (The ones at the bottom are places I still like but somewheres gotta be on top.): 1. Haense. 2. Hyspia. 3. Celianor. 4. Sedan. 5. Balian. Major critiques of numbers 2-5 are that there's not enough Carrion Black and red bricks.

THE DEMON SLAYERS II Of Fire, Heroism, and Valor. Issued by the MILITARY TRIBUNE On this 7th day of VYZMEY AG HYFF of 454 E.S. Initial Brief During a routine camp raid against the forces of the Inferi, The Royal Hussars intercepted a runner who was delivering information to and from said camp to an undisclosed location, presumably a stronghold of some sort. The runner was then brought back to Karosgrad for questioning. Information was revealed that indicated that the runner was dispatching information to a large fort on the banks of a frozen lake. His Majesty, Karl III then decided that this fort would be the target of a punitive extermination, and so the Brotherhood was called to action. The Three Assault Squadrons By the order of Karl III, the Royal Army was to be broken up into multiple sections, to hit the fort from all fronts. These sections included the Cavaliers led by Ser Sebastien de Savoie, the tower climbers led by His Royal Highness Prince Marius Ademar, and the main assault force led by His Majesty King Karl III and Royal Captain Weiss. The Cavaliers were assigned to draw attention to themselves and distract the forces within as the tower climbers scaled the right flank, and the main assault force flanked further around to assault the keep. The Opening Phase As the Brotherhood and the Order of the Crows were split into three different forces, the small platoon of Cavaliers would move around the backside in order to draw the enemy off of the two squadrons of foot soldiers. Under the command of Ser Sebastien de Savoie, the group made sure they were far enough from the fort so that when the enemy attacked they could rear their horses and move away from the walls. Arrows were knocked and the command was given to fire a small barrage of arrows. Only one, however, hit its mark. That Inferi, an arrow now dug into its sent a grunted scream before falling off of the rampart and into the cold dirt several meters downward. The real battle began as the horde turned their attention to the small band of horsemen. Winged implings shot out of the mouths, balls of malflame as they came closer to the squad. In the distance, a mage worked to increase their fireball. Sebastien’s horse was shot out from under him in the tactical regroup. In an attempt to cover the retreat, those sitting on the back of the horses, would fire their bows to try and take down those flying menaces. Some arrows did hit their intended targets, however, most did not. It was at that time that the mage had grown the fire ball large enough to cast it at a small group of horsemen which included Ser Vladimir and Alikos Bayac. Despite their horses getting burnt to a crisp, Ser Vladimir was the only one to sustain small amounts of malflame to his face and hands. However, the Knight did not let it affect him, instead he almost shrugged off the blow.. After regrouping upon the hill, the horsemen regathered extra horses that they had left as replacements on the other side of the mount. The group noticed that the inferi didn’t follow them, but rather, they fled back to the walls of the fort. It became clear to the group that the enemy did not fall for the ruse of leading them away, and so they had to find a new strategy. As they briefly spoke, Tatyana Ludovar continued to hit her mark, eventually finding the skull of the mage with one of her arrows. This seemingly simple action paved the way for the King’s group to move around the wall to the opening without being blasted by the giant fireball of malflame. As the King’s group moved to this opening, a wall of Inferi beasts formed, acting as a defensive hold and plug to the hole. Sebastien then, with the suggestion of Ser Vladimir, ordered that the horseman, having remounted, charge down the hill and plow into the wall of flesh so that the gap may once again be open. So with that, the 8 horsemen rode in full force towards the fort. With a call, the King’s forces split to two lines to allow the cavalry through. The Knight’s knocked over the oleg-sized hellspawn with ease, letting the footmen behind them pour through. Storming the Citadel: The Main Assault Force As Karl III set forth with the bulk of the Royal Army, he had the assault section initially take position on a hill overlooking the keep. There were many oleg-sized fiends and a rather large swarm of implings that controlled the roof of the keep. The koeng wished to have the imps dealt with first, and so Captain Weiss ordered the rank and file to form a volley-line and rain a storm of crossbow bolts onto the impling swarm. As the imps fell from the sky, the royal army made its way to an earthen rampart that would allow tenuous access to the roof of the keep. Before battle was joined with the sorcerer and large demonic creatures ahead, the men began to use frost potions and ranged pilum to thin their ranks. The soldiers swiftly made it to the other side of the wall, the sorcerer that had stood in their way, having been killed by the ranged attacks of the calvary. As they ventured down from the hill, so too did the cavaliers. This action caused the main bulk of the force split into two lines to allow the horses through to attack the imps and inferi. This meant that the two forces were combined and could attack in full force. A few of the large beasts were heavily wounded by the cavaliers’ charge. However, these beasts were resilient, and wielded greatswords and clubs that were longer than a fully grown man by half and would soon put them to devastating use in the initial exchange. The Inferi swung their weapons, knocking some of cavaliers off, either by striking them directly, or by killing their horses. In the wake of this, the infantry made their way up to attack so that those knocked off their steads could recover. The infantry surged forth as warhammers, spears, and blades met the foe. It quickly devolved into a desperate melee, with each individual soldier trying to hold their ground against the towering demonic legion that stood before them. Blood, malflame and the corpses of the slain began to litter the ground as slowly but surely, the demonic hordes were pushed back inch by inch. One bloated corpse in particular that had fallen next to koeng Karl III began to swell and release a foul sulfuric cloud. The koeng, in a moment of quick action attempted to push the beast’s corpse from the roof of the citadel, but it was to no avail. The corpse of the creature had been turned into a living explosive, and as it ruptured it created a shockwave of fire and shrapnel that tore through all who had the misfortune of being near it. The koeng and a few other men were flung backwards. Additionally other command elements were flung through the air by the shockwave. They were sent flying off the citadel roof and across the ground a full ten feet behind friendly lines. By the grace of God, none of the four men, including the koeng, were mortally wounded in the incident, but all caught in the blast received grievous wounds. As the battle for the roof continued, the royal army slowly began to isolate the beasts, giving no mercy to them as they cut them down. The roof had been won, and so Karl III hobbled back to his men, ordering them to cut down the inferi flag that was flown above the keep. As the flag fell upon the icey courtyard below, the koeng and Captain Weiss assembled a rapid reaction force to relieve the squad still holding its ground on the left flank. The Right Flank: The Heroes of the Tower A small detachment commanded by HRH Marius Audemar was tasked primarily with overwhelming a large tower opposite the main force to secure a foothold in the fortress. Notable among this detachment were HRH Sergei Aleksandr, HSH Analiesa Josefina, and His Grace the Duke of Reinmar. The assault began somewhat unconventionally, as the enemy had already laid out a siege ladder for the detachment’s convenient use. Immediately upon reaching the tower, Prince Marius led the attack by charging up the ladder with shield raised, followed closely by the Duke of Reinmar. Meanwhile, the Princess Royal and Lady Ophelie de Falstaff began a volley of arrows toward the horde of Inferi that blocked their ascent, quickly finishing off a pair of airborne imps before changing targets to the brutish fiends at the ladder’s apex, one of which had knocked Prince Marius’ helm from his head in a haphazard blow. After this minor setback, the Prince and Duke reached the battlements, and were replaced on the ladder by Ser Vladrick Kortrevich and Prince Sergei, with the Princess Royal and Lady Ophelie continuing their shots from afar. Prince Marius entered quickly into unarmed combat with a first beast, while the Duke Reinmar and the newly-arrived Sergei and Vladrick made quick work of another. It was at this point that the archers began their ascent of the tower. Prince Marius’ foe proved particularly strong, and so Prince Sergei sought to assist him. The elder Prince was subsequently tackled by the beast, though he managed to grab the creature on his way down through a hole in the tower’s battlements. Miraculously, though, the Prince survived and was transported safely back to Karosgrad. The Miracle of the Left Flank: Resist and Bite! A report of the left flank, and their exceptional act of valor in service of the Brotherhood of Saint Karl. As the cavalry crashed into the forces of hell on the rampart, Sergeant Sebastian Bishop noticed that down the hill, there was a small wooden bridge connecting the mainland to the fortress’s inner courtyard, blocked only by a nearly-destroyed wall. Sergeant Bishop then saw enemy forces massing there for a flanking maneuver, and asked Royal Captain Weiss for permission to take a secondary force down the hill to engage. Permission was granted, and Sebastian assembled an assault force consisting of Ser Walton, Vanhart “The Carrot”, Baldrum Colborn, and Tulip. They assaulted the bridge, slaughtering a number of Imps that threatened the main force’s left flank before assaulting the forces guarding the bridge itself. Once at the bridge, Sergeant Bishop saw that a hellish sorcerer was stationed behind the left flank, acting as support for the imps and oleg-sized hellspawn that were now making their way to clash with Sergeant Bishop’s force. Sergeant Bishop ordered a defensive formation with he and Vanhart in the front with shields raised, Baldrum and Tulip acting as ranged support behind them with crossbows, and with Ser Walton protecting the archers. As the enemy drew near, imps began to belch malflame down upon their shield wall. Baldrum and Tulip fired their arrows in rapid succession, felling three of the beasts from the sky. Sebastian meanwhile held the line with Vanhart. Vanhart used a frost breath potion to freeze one of the big creatures on its approach. Ser Walton meanwhile fought off what imps began to get too close as the hellspawn began to quickly outnumber the flanking force. As the flanking force held back everything that these beasts could throw at them, the sorcerer used evil magic to conjure a hellish wall of malflame around Sergeant Bishop’s force, cutting them off from the rest of the Brotherhood. Famously, Sergeant Bishop declared: “You have made your biggest mistake yet - for we are not trapped here with you, you are trapped here with us!”. As the main assault force continued to clear the roof of the keep, Sergeant Bishop’s force held the line as if their hearts were steeled by Saint Karl himself. They were outnumbered and outmatched in every possible metric, yet they locked their shields and held firm against the forces of hell, giving no ground and offering no mercy to the foe. As the battle raged on, the wall of malflame began to pulsate in glowing orange brilliance. It was quite clear that it was to explode after a short time, causing unknown devastation to the small group who had their shield’s raised to the enemy in front of them, but backs, bare to the flame. Seeing this, Ser Sebastien, who had rushed down with a couple others to help the group after the walltop had been cleared, raised his javelin and launched it at the mage. As expected, the Javelin did little to harm the oleg-sized mage, as it merely raised its arm and blocked it. However, its concentration broke, and the wall of malflame dissipated. Once a splinter force commanded by King Karl III and Royal Captain Weiss arrived to relieve them, one of the large demons burst through the demon that Vanhart had frozen, causing icey shrapnel to fly his way. Sergeant Bishop jumped in his way, shielding his men from the debris but losing an eye in the process, resulting in him being forced to retire from the battle as he was now fully blind. Thanks to the efforts of these men, the main assault force was able to eliminate the primary garrison along with the right flank assault force. After the Battle: Into the Inferi Keep Upon the final defeat of all creatures inhabiting the fortress, all set forth into the castle's innards and set to looting. Much of the prize remained to be similar to other places, including strange meats and broken swords, yet upon entering the basement more was discovered. In one room, a battle-plan had been drawn. A map of the city of Karosgrad lay out, many expecting the aim of a plan to amass and destroy the city. Such was taken, with many now planning for an eventual siege on the city. As all set to prepare to return to Karosgrad at a break-neck pace due to the threat of a siege and the loss of loved ones, Prince Marius glanced into the fire of the hearth which still roared. Something seemed to glint to him, it was reported, and he placed his hands into the fire. Surprisingly enough, his hands remained unscathed and out from the flames he pulled an ancient sword. Not much was known about the sword with it having no discernable markings, though it was surely an item of note to be sure. Many asked whether this sword had some evil to it, though if it did is for now unknown. Signed, Royal Captain Felix Weiss, Military Tribune and Lord Handler of his Majesty’s Duma, Banner Bearer of the Royal Hussar, Head Palatine Guard. OOC: Special thanks to Alamo, Liz., and GMRO for helping me write this monster of a report, everyone who offered their help, and to all others who I incessantly questioned to get the details (mostly) right. Love ya’ll. :)

You are quite literally the example I set for new players I show around the server. Genuinely one of the nicest and most helpful people I've met on LotC, if not the outright best of both. We never got to speak much but I've nothing but good things to say about you, and I wish you all the best in the world. :>

Felix Weiss read over the missive as he exited the Duma. He smiled. It was bittersweet. "Sergei was a great Marshal. Sviatoslav will be up to the task." He said proudly.

THE DEMON SLAYERS A Report of the Victory Against the Hellish Pretender Issued by the MILITARY TRIBUNE On this 13th day of - of 449 E.S. Initial Brief A detachment of forty-five Brotherhood of Saint Karl soldiers and Order of the Crow Knights gathered in Karosgrad on the 7th of the Grand Harvest's dawn. Lord Marshal Sergei Aleksandr equipped the soldiers with Aurum weaponry while Prince Marius Audemar and Tavisha Markov gave instructions on formation and plan of approach. All thirty soldiers marched North into a barren snow waste, where they faced down twelve Inferi Brutes, two assumed 'Lieutenants', one going by the name Rokmael'Ozog "The Veteran of the Second War", aswell as a flesh and bone beast which will henceforth be referred to as “the bull”. The Parley Lord Marshal Sergei Aleksandr had no intention to submit to the hellish monster’s demands of total surrender on behalf of the Kingdom of Hanseti-Ruska but instead offered the beast a chance to surrender. Neither side backed down, and thus the battle would begin. The Opening Phase The Grand Prince of Kusoraev, Georg Sigusmund took his retinue of knights to the right flank to survey the battle from a hill. The Royal Hussars followed in kind, heading much further onto the right flank to engage the second unnamed lieutenant and a band of imps to prevent a flanking assault by the hellish legion. The main body of infantry formed a pike-and-shield wall, anticipating the first move to be made by the Bull. Blood on the Snow The Bull charged the main infantry forces with malflame spewing from its maw. The infantry rightfully broke rank, splitting into two groups down the middle in order to dodge the incoming charge. As the Bull found himself in the middle of the two columns it suddenly released a massive wave of malflame in every direction, washing the infantry ranks in hellfire. It was then that the infernal infantry rushed to engage the now divided forces of the Brotherhood. Behind the brutes was Rokmael'Ozog, the “Veteran of the Second War'' and chosen champion of the hellish pretender. Rokmael'Ozog wielded a blade that was capable of allowing him to phase around the battlefield, and a swing from it could ignore any and all armor, inflicting torturous pain onto its victims within its arc. As the two sides clashed, it quickly devolved into a desperate melee as our brave forces attempted to keep the forces of hell at bay. The bull then attempted to run up the hill and knock a tree down onto the infantry forces below. Ser Walton attempted to halt the beast, but despite his most valiant efforts the demonic beast succeeded, and as the tree fell, threatening to crush His Royal Highness, Prince Marius Ademar beneath it a brave armsman by the name of Tatyana Amelya Ludovar rushed forth to pull the prince away and very much saved his life in the process. As the tree fell onto her comrades and trapped them underneath, it was she who risked her life once more to pull Emil Barclay and an unnamed Bishop from under the burning tree. Slowly but surely, our brave soldiers pushed on, slaying their foes with righteous hatred. The Hussars then rejoined the fray to assist with mopping up the few remaining inferni, and Rokmael'Ozog was set upon by a full squadron of infantry. Rokmael'Ozog attempted to detonate himself using his infernally imbued armor, but Emeric Radovanic in a moment of true bravery slayed the creature before his plan could come to fruition, saving the lives of all present. Infantry losses: One. Infantry wounded: Ten or more. (First to Third degree burns, broken bones, compound fractures and multiple lacerations.) Inferni slain: Twelve. Enemy commander: Slain. (No body was recovered. Despite not being able to detonate, his armor still melted his corpse in a bright flash.) Of Lances and Malflame The Hussars, after breaking off from the main infantry moved to engage with the hellish legion’s second commander: an unnamed fiend riding an undead steed accompanied by a horde of imps. The commander of the Hussars: Euleriphis Livarai de Melphestaus, ordered a charge towards the foe. As the Hussars charged at the infernal host they released a volley of heavy pila at the enemy commander’s horde of imps, slaying many, but for every imp that fell, two more made it through. The battle quickly devolved into a chaotic mess as every man fought for his own life and for his comrades beside him. Thanks to their heavy plate-armor the hellish flame had little effect. The Hussar spared no mercy to the enemy commander, specifically his grace, Duke Wilheim Barclay and Lords Baldrum Colborn, and Ivan Jaroslavich Godunov who managed to use a combined attack to practically beat the enemy commander to death and knock him off his steed with mace and warhammer. The infernal commander attempted to take Eulepheris’s life by wrapping his chain-whip around his head, holding him there as the infernal commander’s armor began to glow with the fires of hell, threatening to detonate himself and take with him as many good Haeseni men as he could. This plan did not come to pass only due to the brave actions of Giovanna Bella Ashford de Leuven, who outright trampled the beast with her heavy war-horse, sacrificing her steed and the use of her hands in the process to save her commander’s life. The Hussars then moved to help mop up the few remaining forces still engaged with the infantry corps. Hussar fatalities: Zero. Hussar injured: Three. (One broken facial plate, cracked rib-cage, First or third degree burns.) Inferni fatalities: Ten. Enemy commander: Slain. (Detonated upon death. No body was recovered.) Signed, Sergeant Felix Weiss, Military Tribune and Lord Handler of his Majesty’s Duma, Banner Bearer of the Royal Hussar, Head Palatine Guard.

Felix Weiss held the invitation in his hands and smirked widely. "Lots of weddings of late. Ea can't wait for my own soon enough. Ea'll be there for the both of them."
-
Felix Weiss sighed as he read the publication with a raised eyebrow. He hummed as he looked to his warhammer rested on the floor by his chair. "Karl brought me up, and he is my koeng, nothing else interests me. Ea will slay his enemies as he commands."
-
Felix Weiss read the missive, a frown growing even larger upon his face as his eyes scanned the words. "Ea've had enough of this Southern nonsense."
-
Felix Weiss attached his golden brooch and tassel to his chestplate. He could not help but feel an unmistakable sense of pride. "Lots of work to be done, but God willing, it will be done."

Felix looked down to the missive. "She's led her family well, and with honor. It gives me pride to be her Palatine Guard."
-
Felix Weiss would lean to the side as he sat in his office, elbow rested upon the arm of his chair as he read the missive with a raised eyebrow. "No sympathy for those who find hatred in the happiness of others." He muttered to himself. "And especially none for those who squander ever single opportunity that they've been given." He placed the missive aside and continued working.

Felix Weiss would pause as he heard the news, realizing that perhaps one day he and the Bishops would be in-laws. "I need to find something nice to wear..." -
"May Saint Karl personally escort you to the gates of the Seven Skies. Rest well, brother."

Felix Weiss read the missive as it reached the barracks. "I fight for my Koeng before God. My blade is his nevertheless."
