"From fairy tales that came from the old world, one that hasn't been talked about, or let's say known... is Little Malchediael, otherwise known as Harlow. The tale says that there was a lost boy wandering through the land, abandoned by those who promised to take care of him. He stumbled upon an old land of the Empire, one that still had people living there, and he was found by the Lord and his trustee commander, and the boy was taken care of. The next thing they know, the boy became a soldier, but not just a soldier, a warrior of the people, someone who fought for them, for all. He wore their colors and swore by righteous duty to protect them all, and his deeds were heard by many, and many gained interest. One of those many being Malchediael's personal chosen, and soon the boy was on the path to be ordained and become Malchediael's chosen. But somehow worried that there was darkness in the boy's heart, though that believe it quickly faded when him and the others soon to be ordained fought against the undead. During that fight the boy saved them all, even as the trees were ripped from the ground and tossed at them, the boy spent every second saving his comrades from danger. And even when a lord of pale stood against him, and the boy lost his weapons, he readied his fists to fight against it, even if the thing was standing ten times his size, he charged forward swinging and crashing his head against the Lord of Pale, and later ended up defeating it. And years after such an event he ended up becoming a Templar, fighting for the glory of the people and not just himself, fighting more lords of Pale than there could ever be, and in his life only losing one fight. Though one day it became obvious that something was wrong, he was afflicted with a madness just like Malchediael. He became violent and rash, acting more like a God of pain and hurt than a man or a Templar, and soon those who he loved ended his life with mercy. Though that's not one percent true, he didn't gain madness out of nowhere. No one visited him, those that he loved, he wrote letters to, he wanted to spend time with people but they didn't come for him. He did everything they asked of him and they abandoned him, then they abandoned him with a sword in his chest in the snow, and disconnected so they never have to see him in the afterlife. But even after he was disconnected and stabbed in the heart he continued fighting, the braveness in his heart never ending, never dying, until he did....."

Because this is so epic! It might just be aesthetics, but the pure fact that this alters other magics optionally is so cool to me, because I like thinking, depending on which matches you have, others will be affected. You are most likely correct that I didn't explain too much but I do not think it's strong. There are several other things in the server that outclass it and are more possible to gain and this is just nothing compared to that stuff

Currently What should change Currently What should change Purpose Arcane Scion is pretty fine... It doesn't spark interest or intrigue in many people I know, at least besides Spellblade, and for almost quite a while, aka since I joined LOTC, I have never seen an Arcane Scion, and to kind of help me with my argument, when I was actively trying to play a spellblade, I was encouraged not to play an Arcane Scion... Anyways, so I went with Templarism instead... What I'm trying to say is something within Arcane Scion needs to change, but realistically I can't do it; I don't have the experience to do it, the mental endurance, etc. So what I'm doing instead is trying to allow them to use Arcane focus. Does this give them more range to use their spells? Yes. Does this make more people want to play it? Probably not. Does it make it overpowered? Hahahaha, noooooooooooo, IT DOESN'T! John Arcane Scion won't be casting nuclear missiles/THE SUN across the map!!
