  1. Posted among Aevos; especially within Talar’nor and its allies, are freshly made prints of the Talar’nor Tribune. The Talar’nor Tribune Published 3rd of Sun’s Smile, Y. 133 S.A. Vol. I Recent News Lady Ro’ya Nullivari turned four-hundred, celebrating with an extravagant party held in the castle! With Nullivari wine tasted and enjoyed by partygoers, and music to delight the ears, as well as a game of ‘musical chairs’ that attendees played with vigor! All who attended agree that the party was a resounding success, and wish for one similar soon. Since taking root on Aevos, crime and other sketchy behaviors have been quick to fill the new streets of Talar’nor. Our great Mordu’lar, as well as our Vira’tir, have been quick to remedy this plague in our city. Three vampires have been found, with two banished and the third executed; Xavier Adler, of a branch of the Cerusil Talonii. Once an influential member of the Paradine council, many wonder what secrets the rest of the Cerusil Talonii, as well as the former council of Paradine may be hiding. Recently, the Laurir Draoi, Lanre Cerusil, had been taken hostage beneath our capital city. Whilst checking out some strange sightings Lanre had spoken of to both the Laurir Lin, Ante’ahern Wynasul, and a student of Lanre, Auriel Tennallar, they were attacked by cloaked figures who captured Lanre and impaled Ante’ahern. Luckily Auriel was able to ensure Ante’ahern made it back to the surface with the enemy hostage they’d taken. Though they left Lanre behind, the Vira’tir and other volunteers later ventured below to rescue the now dubbed by his saviors, ‘Princess Lanre’ from the clutches of a suspected void cult and their leader Aeolian, a rogue magi. An Interview with Mirallia Velulaei’onn What is it like being the first Mali’ker Councilor and Commander in Talar’nor? It is both humbling and empowering at the same time. I come from an already militaristic family, and was raised for leadership from a very young age. It is certainly different than what I’m used to, as a Velulaei’onn I was exposed almost explicitly to my fellow ‘ker Mali. Thus adapting has been a bit of a culture shock. However I’ve developed a wonderful fondness towards this great city, and aim to perform my duties just the same. What are your plans for the future? I aim to rid the stigma this city has developed over the years, one of being one kind and hospitable to darkspawn and dark mages alike. In doing so I hope to reinstate the respect we had once upon the world stage, and propel this city towards an even greater future. I aim to provide comfort and security among the populace whilst I serve, and am willing to lay down my life to do so. Do you have anyone you use as inspiration or look up to? My mal’maronn, Sul. He has been a great inspiration and mentor to me throughout the years, as the Archousa of my family before I. All of my prowess and feats are owed to him, as he has helped steer me through what has been quite a turbulent life. I hope one day he returns to see all that which I have accomplished. The Colloquy - Talar’nors gossip column The Laurir’Lye, Thalien Wynasul, with his fiery temperament recently aided in interrogating a criminal that was under the watch of the Laurir’Lin, Ante’ahern Wynasul, as well as the Vira’tir. Upon the held individual growing more and more and more irate, insults were thrown from the criminals mouth that resulted in the individual to be valiantly slain by Thalien Wynasul, all to protect the integrity of Talar’nor! Recently too, Lord Thalien has been seen toting the bodies of woodland creatures home; killing the druidic spies and gathering food for Talar’nor at once? With the opening of the new tavern, the Malari Meadery, there have been some questioning one thing; what is the reason the drinks are so enticing, and draw back customers? Rumors spread of different add-ins that could be a part of the drinks. Could it be magic? An enchantment of sorts? We believe that we may know very well what has been added to the drinks to make them so addictive- the most addictive common thing being drugs. It is not an uncommon practice, so there may very well be some strain of wizards powder sprinkled within! Some have noticed two people; Athelde Tawarenion and Rinsova Evergreen Maor, sneaking off together! And is it not odd that the two happen to live together? We believe that the two may be more than just friends based on their interactions in public… Recently it has been rumored that one Cerusil, Sylvin, has struck up a relationship with Penelope Calavenon. After a scuffle between the two over a disagreement, it seems that the pair have been ‘sneaking around’ and spending much more time together than two enemies would. Perhaps Miss Calavenon has finally found the one? Many rumors have floated about, speculation of who Lanre Cerusil might be interested in romantically. The young bachelor still has yet to publicly announce any romantic involvement with any elf. These rumors have ranged from it possibly being a few elven bachelorettes from around the city, to even a few of his more masculine peers. Though, over the years it has become more apparent that it may actually be Thalien Wynasul, the Laurir’Lye that Lanre sports a fancy for. Despite Thalien’s upcoming marriage he had displayed the most distress during Lanre’s capture, becoming more sporadic and unstable in the presence of his peers than he’s ever displayed before whilst also going above and beyond to return Lanre home. Perhaps Thalien and Lanre have a connection that exceeds that of mere friends going on behind the scenes? Perhaps their Thalien and Auro’ra’s marriage is only a front to keep Thalien’s true feelings out of the public eye? Talar’nors Best Dressed With Lady Ro’ya Nullivari’s recent birthday celebrations, we have seen it fit to have her as Talar’nors Best Dressed for our first volume! Donning a lovely gown for occasions of the utmost importance, we find her to be a true Talar’norian in both heart and appearance. The Best of Talar’nor - The Top Bachelors, Bachelorettes, & Couples For years, Penelope Calveneon--a lovely cookie-giving citizen of Talar’nor--has struggled with the tumulous challenge of finding true love. While she is being suspected of setting her cookie-shaped eyes onto new prospective green-lovers, we still wonder if this lovable bachelorette will ever find the real love she seeks. Sylvin Cerusil, esteemed higher ranking member of the military, brother to Lanre Cerusil, and dashing malari bachelor has a love life almost identical to his brother’s. Perhaps it runs in the family? Nelecar Maeyr’onn, a former ward of Talar’nor upon the continent of Almaris has disappeared for quite a while upon it being rumored he had a relationship with Lady Linnea Py’lrie, although some sightings have been seen around the city of the dashing Mali’thill! With the belief that Athelde Tawarenion and Rinsova Evergreen Maor are a couple, we found it fitting to include the two as one of Talar'nors best couples. With not much to comment on the pair, we do wish them the best luck!
  2. Imaged here are copies of the Celia’nor Tribune, with copies posted around the ruins of Savoy; and even some in the fresh Celia'nor rubble. The Celia’nor Tribune Published 24th of The Grand Harvest Y. 120 S.A. Vol. VIII Recent News The council of Celia’nor has expanded to include two new councilors. Both Evarir Veralya Wynasul and Laurir Auro’ra Castington have taken upon the council positions of Laurir Lye and Laurir Fer’pueran respectively. Laurir Lanre Cerusil has changed positions to Laurir Draoi to further fit his skillset. This is Lady Wynasul’s third position she has taken since her initial promotion at age 19, the youngest councilor in Celia’nor history. As for Laurir Auro’ra Castington, this is her first promotion into the official government of Celia’nor. Despite this, Lady Auro’ra has served many years on the Paradinian council, being a leader in the town and taking on many responsibilities. In the Fi’Andria square, it’s been reported that a dark elf and a dwarf entered a friendly spar between one another, which then resulted in the dark elf attempting to kill the dwarf. In the turn of events, the dwarf had survived, although we wonder why the other would do such a thing. And as of revising and beginning to create this volume, the city of Fi’Andria has fallen. While the hydra was slain during the battle, the city was then overrun by a horde of Mori. While the citizenry of Celia’nor has since left for the ruins of Savoy, taking root within the throne room of the withered palace, and some nearby areas. The loss of our city will not deter the citizenry from prospering, as we continue on with life as we always have before. We can only welcome the forthcoming changes with open arms, rather than pushing back from the changing times. An Interview with Ante’ahern Wynasul How do you feel about the current rumors regarding yourself and your wife, Veralya Wynasul? All of these rumors are naught but fallacy. I provide my alchemical services to whomever, because I derive joy from it and I am not feminine in the slightest. I hold no romantic attraction toward men and am devoted to my wife Veralya. What do you think to be the reason for these allegations? I do not know. I could understand the accusation of me possibly being a blood-related Wynasul due to my appearance but not the ones pertaining to my femininity. The former being false as well. Do you feel wronged, or misinterpreted by these rumors? Ti, of course I do. Do you have anything you wish to say to the public? Quit spreading or believing any falsehoods, not just of myself but others too. Remain within fact and allow fallacy to shrivel. If any more rumors spring up about me, then come and see me directly. The Colloquy - Celia’nors gossip column Jakob Calavenon was reportedly seen engaging in conversation with an unnamed Mali’fenn, the sort that was recognized as flirtatious in nature! Occurring near the vassal of Starpool, it is our hope that we may see more of this soon… It has been said a flu has been going around the new vassal, Avilewyn, although we wonder why exactly this ‘flu’ involves the people who seem to disappear for a time, before returning to the city in better health. It’s a curious thing, and seems like such a coincidence is something that was not by sheer chance. While it may’ve been believed that Ante’ahern Wynasul is in fact, a woman, others say that Virar Veralya Wynasul, is truly a man. Though at this point we doubt anything such as this! Andrillian An’asul has been seen talking to his sword… perhaps just a bit too sad and lonely? Celia’nors Best Dressed In our second segment of Celia’nors Best Dressed, we have Miss Auriel Tennallar, who’s often seen donning fine silk attire in bluish-greens and bronze. The Best of Celia’nor - The Top Bachelors, Bachelorettes, & Couples It’s said that Lanre Cerusil is a valuable bachelor among Celia’nor, the dashing young Cerusil is often seen alone and never pursuing any form of courtship. Either he is too focused on his voidal studies to pursue anyone or perhaps he’s simply incapable of getting a woman’s affectionate attention. Alternatively, he just might have a fancy for more masculine individuals- who knows? Among all the couples of Celianor, there is one very interesting pairing: Ante’ahern and Veralya Wynasul. Both of these elves were among the very first to be born and raised within the Star City. From a very young age the two young, ambitious nobles seemed they were eventually going to be paired with one another. The pair received endorsements to court one another from many different mali of Fi’Andria, including the Princess, Valyris Ibarrellan herself, until they one day decided to court and later wed. As of now they’ve been attached to each other for decades, and from the looks of it, decades more to come. An interview from the long lasting couple, Lady Ro’ya and Lord Thalion Nullivari What makes your relationship special? Ro’ya - “Throughout the 350 years in which Thalon and I have spent side-by-side, we have together experienced a tremendous amount of pain, suffered through sacrifices and undergone many difficulties, perhaps more so than any other partners within the realm. As a result, we are undoubtedly strong and wholly devoted to one another - this bond between ourselves has also instilled such of the same values within our own talonii, thus making House Nullivari what it is today.” Thalon - “There is a healthy balance of emotions and an absolute trust which I hold with Ro’ya. She has been there throughout my highs and lows, of which there have been a plethora of throughout my lifespan. We first met after I moved to the continent of Vailor, and through our devotion to one another, have remained married and steadfast in our vows since.” How has your relationship helped or hindered your roles both within your own household and Celianor itself? Ro’ya - “I consider myself to be equal in the same duty and roles as Thalon, unlike many relationships I have witnessed, and I believe that this is something he respects immensely. Thus, we take on similar roles within our talonii, both acting uniformly as the Heads of Household and in the guidance of our members. Furthermore, Thalon and I have advised every Prince and Princess of Celia’nor. Working upon the High Council together has allowed us to continue our support of each other and of the nation.” Thalon - “I think that both of us work well together and in our individual capacities. While we have different parenting styles and ideals, we’ve raised a strong family and have fostered a good reputation which surrounds our name. In a work setting, sure there are sometimes things we differ on and envision for the nation but living with and being married to Ro’ya for so long allows for completely open dialogue to be shared and ideas to be created from how well we know each other.” What is the secret to a lasting relationship? Ro’ya - “Knowing that one person is always right - and the other person is the husband.” Thalon - “To the men reading this, just say yes to everything, even if you do not mean it or plan to do what they ask or need, just agree. Like I did to partake in this interview.” This will be the last volume of the Celia'nor Tribune due to the recent circumstances. For the foreseeable future however, we plan to continue it once our nation has regained its footing. ((It is recommended to read the Spoiler))
  3. Imaged here are copies of the Celia’nor Tribune that are circulated amongst the people. The Celia’nor Tribune 1st of The Snow’s Maiden Y. 123 S.A. Vol. VII Recent News It is sure that many already know the tragedy that struck the Elaneh’celia Palace earlier in the year of 122 SA. Previously, a large voidal tear was created beneath the palace upon the founding of Celia’nor, initially made by Ivarielle the Great to keep Celia’nor safe from harm. It is believed that the Mori’quessir were the ones to aggravate the tear, resulting in the cataclysmic event that has made the palace uninhabitable and the horrors that attacked the citizens of Celia’nor. Through all of this, Celia’nor will persevere through these new times- having even cleaned the square of all gore soon after. The Crown is working day and night to find solutions to the hollow that resulted from the fallout of the tear closure. Amidst the tragedy of one city, another one rises. Recently, a Wynasul-sponsored project came to fruition by the name of Avliewyn. A vassal of Celia’nor near the coastline, Avliewyn is a beautiful seaside retreat for alchemists and merchants alike. With swirling towers of marble, and plenty of seaside views, perhaps some who wish to escape the chaos amidst the recent explosion can find sanctuary on the Celestial Coast. Before any of these previous events though, it has come to the attention of those within Celia’nor that the valah of the South had worked with nephilim to forge weapons from the bones of the beast that attacked their city. Alexander I, King of Balian, worked with the very people he made enemies with to forge weapons from Cloudbreaker. The Dawnhold, Amaethea’s coastal keep, has fallen to the Mori’quessir. While Celia’nor’s aid was limited due to the city being ravaged by the void, their numbers limited by nearly half. At the battle, they saw the orcs holding their own yet the Hydra and a locust, seeming to be a sort of hive mother, controlled by the Mori’quessir ravaging the troops to the south so they lended their aid. The assembled fighters were able to slay the large beast and inflict significant damage onto the hydra. They lost two of our own in the process and the magi were nearly wiped as they narrowly escaped with their lives intact. All except for one were majorly injured in the fight. We thank those that passed for their attempt to defend our allies and wish those that went to help a speedy recovery despite the Dawnhold falling. An Interview with Lanre Cerusil Due to Lanre losing his leg in the battle at Dawnhold in a valiant sacrifice to save others, he was unable to conduct the interview. The efforts of the citizenry have been set onto aiding with the voidal hollow that has appeared rather than engaging in gossip or the remedy of such. There will be no supplementary interview made for this issue of the Tribune. The Colloquy - Celia’nors gossip column While speaking on the Calavénon talonii, we’ve reports of Elledan Calavénon being a ‘joker’ of the comedical sort, who even goes to lengths to dress up in the attire of a court jester in his free time! Whilst just a rumor, we are sure that such an outfit is a sight one could only dream to see. From another, it has been told to us that one Ranaleth, Ava, glues a wig to her scalp each and every day to hide the fact that she lacks hair; we only wonder if that is true! Now many wonder why exactly it is that the Cerusil family wears so much green. Green is known as the color for nature, balance and harmony; however others believe the Cerusils wear such a color to show allegiance to another faction, the druii in particular. Quick to climb to power and wedge themselves into politics, some wonder- perhaps they have a reason? While from others, it is said and believed that Valindra Nullivari may have become engaged to a man described as an “Old, toothless, bald, valah man all the way from Aaun!”. Now, we can only hope that such an accusation is not true, for the Nullivari’s sake. And while at a tavern gathering in the new Avliewyn, it’s been said that Ante’ahern Wynasul is not one with a liking to women, and rather that of the opposite gender! It was vehemently denied by both himself and Veralya Wynasul, but people have taken notice of his femininity… Now we have a new individual among Celia’nor, one known as Dakaith of the Araaloq Talonii, who has only recently arrived and appears to have an unprecedented amount of wealth compared to others who find themselves as new residents. NEW - Celia’nors Best Dressed With what we hope to become a staple amongst this and future volumes, we introduce Celia’nors Best Dressed; a column showcasing one individual and their attire for the rest of Celia’nor to see! We have Evarir Veralya Wynasul in a fine silk dress- a simple garment, with accents of bronze intricate details, akin to a true Celia’norian! 4. Imaged here are copies of the Celia’nor Tribune that are circulated amongst the people. The Celia’nor Tribune 3rd of The Amber Cold Y. 120 S.A. Vol. VI Recent News The newlywed Nullivari couple, Vaela and Sir Kallias are currently expecting a child, with it being told that the Matriarch, Ro'ya Nullivari, has been bustling around Eld Roth preparing for the new arrival. We wish the Talonii and their new arrival well! Before the Princess’ Jubilee, a court session was held in Celia’nor with many announcements of sorts; rather than reporting on such ourselves, we recommend seeking out the official document transcribing the events. And for this next elven week there are multiple Spring themed events that have been planned for the citizens by Lady Ro'ya Nullivari, with such examples being a theatre show, a spring fair, and the coming-of-age of two Cerusils! An Interview with… What was agreed upon as an interview with the Cerusils has since been canceled or postponed; the talonii deciding not to yet publicly address the rumors told in a previous volume of the Celia’nor Tribune. The Colloquy - Celia’nors gossip column Through sight and witnesses by many, one member of nobility has been attempting to court and wed many men amongst the nobles of Celia’nor, without any sense of hesitance or preference as to who. Many attest to Hileia Aevaris even becoming an adulterer of sorts, even flirting with wedded noble men. Many, amongst ourselves, question why Lady Aevaris is so desperate to wed despite her young age. An ulterior motive, or an exterior entity coercing her to wed another? Rumour has it that Thalien Wynasul and Lanre Cerusil have been quite friendly with each other as of late. However, whether it's a simple camaraderie of crewmates or something more has been widely debated among sources… One thing is for certain, though. Thalien Wynasul is betrothed to another! Will Lanre fight for his hand in marriage? Or will the fling end with Thalien’s return to sea? Recent two conversations occurred between the writer of the Tribune, and Lanre and Rhys Cerusil, respectively. The outcomes of these two talks were drastically different, where the one with Rhys Cerusil was calm, albeit unplanned by the one who requested such. The Lanre conversation on the other hand, was one with many words traded back and forth; not an air of hostility, but rather one of self-entitlement from the visiting Cerusil who seemed to request a sort of ‘special treatment’ regarding the Tribune and its writings. This conversation resulted in Lanre Cerusil being asked to leave. And lastly as a jest, there is one who believes that Ante’ahern Wynasul owes his wife, Veralya Wynasul, thousands of mina; where Veralya extorts her husband to provide the Wynasul family with his alchemical services. Though this instance may not be taken seriously, Veralya Wynasul is rather financially motivated- perhaps others in Celia’nor are indebted in large amounts to the Evarir… SPECIAL - The Mage Circle Incident Just a couple elven weeks ago Lord Raziel Aevaris gathered a large group of magi with the goal to summon a giant crab. This summoning ritual was done publicly within the Fi’Andria square, a risky move to do such an act with others crowding around to watch such. During the middle of the ritual, Jillaen Wynasul disrupted the act by throwing a potion within the group, which resulted in the near-death of four of the magi who were partaking. Opinions on this incident are varied, where some say that the public ritual was not something meant to be seen, and too that one should have expected the disruption of something meant for private eyes. While others believe it was justified, and that Jillaen was simply unaware of the nature of the spell and did what she thought was right in the moment. Whatever the case, the incident soon died down, and Jillaen Wynasul has since begun leaving free bread out for the public. Perhaps it is to atone for some sort of wrongdoing; or maybe just a generous donation on behalf of the fortunate talonii Wynasul’s wealth. In any case- the Tribune will remain updated with any developments in the story. Would you like to see something specific covered in the next volume? 5. Imaged here are copies of the Celia’nor Tribune that are circulated amongst the people. The Celia’nor Tribune 3rd of Snow’s Maiden Y. 120 S.A. Vol. V Recent News We have recently heard news of the death of a member of the esteemed Athri’onn talonii, Naerys Athri’onn. Due to the nature of it, we shall not go into details of the man's death and offer our condolences to the Athri’onn talonii during their time of grief. Another wedding shall be upcoming in Celia’nor, one between Sir Kallias Nullivari and Lady Vaela Vaedrar. We hope the wedding will go without compromise, and that their matrimony shall never falter. And upcoming is the jubilee celebrating 25 years of Princess Valyris' reign among Celia'nor. An itinerary of the ongoings during the event has been released, as well as invites to the nobles of Celia'nor and foreign delegations. An Interview with Valindra Nullivari How did you come to be in a position of such influence in Celia’nor? I fought alongside Ivarielle herself in the days of Haelun’or and the silver divide, though I knew her prior to the war even breaking out. We knew one another through a mutual friend, and occasionally exchanged pleasantries. It wasn’t until she gathered her forces against her Haelun’orian oppressors that our friendship truly blossomed, however. I had served in elcihi’thilln as their Okarir’maehr and officer in elsillumiran for many years, alongside my allies, the Nullivari. We fought by eachothers’ sides, died by eachothers’ sides in the days of Othelu Orrar as Sohaer. He ran a tight ship and a fine army and was adored by many, so when his untimely death rocked the nation and Kolvar ‘the bystander’ Uradir succeeded him despite Malithor Nullivari being officially named as Orrar’s successor, many left the nation. I remained, aiding as many as I could in subtly fleeing the city. When Braxus Ni’leya took charge, I was assigned command of the Sillumir. But a few days later, before I could truly reform the now dormant guard, Braxus was captured by Ivarielle’s forces. I decided to head out alone, assuming I could barter for his life. I found Ivarielle’s forces, and proceeded to engage in negotiations, offering myself up for mutilation in the place of Braxus. They accepted, yet Braxus labeled me a traitor, said I’d be killed if I ever returned to elcihi’thilln. Ivarielle respected my loyalty, and sacrifice, spared me the mutilation, and as we talked, I discovered our goals aligned. From then on, I served as her sword, defending her (not that she required it) from various unseen threats. Despite my two-century-long feud with the snow elves she had employed to aid her, I was at her side for every battle, every raid on Haelun’orian soil and more. We became fast friends and she placed trust in me that was afforded to few other mali. I attended council meetings, guarded Malin’or summits. And, when she stepped down, I continued to serve the Ibarellen talonii dutifully through her heir, Illarion and presently, Princess Valyris. I often find myself assuming command of small groups of able-bodied elves when apprehending criminals, and I am often the one sent to dispatch said criminals when the Celia’diraar are otherwise unavailable, and thanks to the kind adoption of the Nullivari talonii as kin, I now have a loyal and dependable family.” You have often been seen at Princess Valyris's side, why do you think she shows you such favor? The answer is quite simple, she has known me for over a century; we sat on the Silver Council of Haelun’or together- she knows me to be reliable in my areas of expertise and knows well that my loyalty stands firm to good and noble causes, such as Ivarielle’s when she founded the Princedom of Celia’nor. I am loyal not only to her, but to the nation. She accepts me as I am, and always knows that my intentions are to ensure that Celia’nor flourishes, as well as herself as both a ruler and a person. When one sits in such a seemingly infallible position, the people around them seem to forget that they are more than a ruler, they are a descendant, capable of emotion and forming connections just like any of us. Over the centuries, due to our mutual allies, we have formed a solid friendship, and while we may have our differences, we are never truly divided. Valyris is a strong woman, enduring akin to frost in the Yaotl Wasteland; unyielding, yet thoughtful. Despite the constant pressure a ruler faces, she has not only managed to nurture Celia’nor, but nurture her own family, though it is often hard to differentiate; I imagine many view her as the wisened mother of Celia’nor raising the city as though it were her own child. I have an unyielding respect for her for being able to do such, despite all the trials and tribulations she faces, while I believe she respects me for my loyalty and presence within the city. She knows what I am capable of, and I know well what she is in turn. This mutual understanding, respect, and the ability to communicate with one another openly has allowed our friendship to endure through even the harshest of times. I have seen grown men crumble and godlike entities torn apart by their followers and their failing states alike when faced with the power to control a nation as much as half the size of Celia’nor, yet still she stands stalwart, the Motherly Monarch Butterfly of Celia’nor. (She also refers to me as the Court Gremlin sometimes in playful jest. I think my chaotic tendencies that operate within the confines of the law amuse her, though she’ll likely never admit as much.) What do you think your greatest personal contribution to Celia'nor has been? Beyond your role as Valyris' confidante. Who am I to say? Those who have been positively affected by my contributions will be able to give you that answer with far more truth to it than I. I serve, that is all. As long as my contributions are largely positive, I seek to refrain from weighing them up against one another akin to some self-sided competition. …. …. …. Outside of Celianor, though? I led a mage circle of over twenty master magi during the final battle of the September Prince. Conjured a lightning bolt the size of one of the West Almaris’s great trees. It was awesome, I never thought I’d enjoy the smell of burning wood so much.. Though I suppose the scent of a frying tyrannical rogue druid with godlike powers differs from your average oak or spruce. The shamans also summoned one of their spirits. The Colloquy - Celia’nors gossip column With the new ‘Dropbox’ for individuals to post their sights and thoughts, the Celia’nor Tribune truly knows what the people of Celia’nor think of those within the city of Fi’Andria; this covers the majority of what has been given. It’s been said that in a public interaction, Lanre Cerusil had interrupted a coversating group within the Fi’Andria square. He’d accused somebody of using illusionary magic on himself; this reasoning is unknown to us. Zoddryk Nullivari proceeded to call the Cerusils behavior inappropriate for a ‘pup’, resulting in Lanre Cerusil leaving whilst throwing what has been referred to as a ‘little tantrum’. And similarly, surrounding the Cerusils is a rumor of matrimonial sort. Individuals noticed during the wedding of Eloise Cerusil and Rhys of Paradine, Rhys did not appear all too pleased with the arrangement at hand. Eloise meanwhile appeared content, although some noted a ‘disturbingly loving look’ in her eyes. Only vows were exchanged at this ceremony, without any celebration or ball afterwards, unlike Senna Cerusils wedding. From others, we hear of both a general dislike of the Cerusils, but that they, too, are undeserving of what they have, amongst other marks upon the family's character. We open an offer to the Cerusil family to speak their part and address these rumors and tellings, to be released in the next volume of the Celia’nor Tribune. 6. Imaged here are copies of the Celia’nor Tribune that are circulated amongst the people. The Celia’nor Tribune 3rd of The Grand Harvest Y. 118 S.A. Vol. IV Recent News The weather within Celia’nor has been odd as of lately, where it will rain for off and on periods unexpectedly. Many wonder what could be the cause of this, but the Tribune believes those who reside or visit often should keep umbrellas and parasols with themselves at any given time. Accompanying odd weather is the rebuild of the square, featuring a brand new library, shopping district, and a built-in arcane dueling court for those who wish to compete against one another. Opinions of the district are mixed, but we find any changes to Fi’Andria quite welcome. Within the time between Volume III and Volume IV, an anonymous source has stated that rather than the cabbages being ransacked, it will be the popular and well-known vineyards of Celia’norian lands that will soon be barren… we at the Tribune do believe these heinous threats to be true. Recently there have been whispers amongst the city of a cult of sorts, one that is based around the great Ivarielle Ibarellan. Heeding her words and teachings, though seeming to take it too far… dangerous actions, rather than peaceful. This is not to be considered something connected to the government of Celia’nor, but an individual or individuals acting on their own accord. An Interview with Ro’ya Nullivari What’s your biggest accomplishment? Personally - I consider myself to have two great accomplishments. The first is having been married to my husband, Lord Thalon Nullivari, for close to 350 years. To spend that amount of time with one individual consistently at your side is extremely rewarding, but it can also be very difficult at times. Most of all, within our union, we value insurmountable loyalty to one another, and this we have instilled deeply into each member our talonii. My remaining greatest achievement is my children. Perhaps a rather cliche answer to this question, but I declare it with no doubt or uncertainty. There have been some troubling rumors surrounding the Nullivari as of late, would you care to address them publicly? Our talonii holds a very active position within Celia’nor, its government and nobility, and with such comes both responsibility and influence. People are always extraordinarily quick to pass judgment and participate in immature gossip about others - especially those that they might envy or wish to belittle in pathetic attempt to exert their own influence. The unfortunate tongues of gossip are ever so dreary and tiresome, however, I suppose due to the imposing nature which our family presents among both the noble and common populace can cause some unease and whispers to linger. Yet, we hold the position of the most trusted talonii by the Ibarellan and the Princess herself. So rumors shall always float around those who hold great influence. The only rumor surrounding our family that truly troubles me is Zoddryk’s behavior and apparent softness with a certain Py’lrie. Beyond the Nullivari, what noble line would you say has earned your respect? Why? We have served as the personal agents of the Ibarellan since the beginnings of Celia'nor, acting as an unseen right-hand and supporting the crown by wielding what influence we have both foreign and domestically. Through this work, we have strengthened our bond with them and come to learn that they are not just a bloodline that commands respect, but are very much alike to ourselves as they enforce similar values such as loyalty and determination. Our relationship has grown to the point where we are also now family through the union of Eówyn Nullivari and Turin Ibarellan. The Colloquy - Celia’nors gossip column Upon the rebuild of the new shopping district, the Lady Amisra Akaln'riv was found having gotten stuck atop the roofs… we do wonder why she is behaving so recklessly, especially as a pregnant woman. While at one of the recent Celia’norian balls, Ava Ranaleth and Numerian Visaj had themselves caught in a sort of dance battle, the result of such an engagement resulting in the Visaj being kicked where most elven men would find themselves keeled over from such a blow. We question why- especially with him being the new husband of the Cerusil Laurir. Too, Ava Ranaleth appeared to have undermined Princess Valyris’ role as a haelun to her daughter, Ilaria Ibarellan. The little oem’ii traded a lollipop for a lockpick from Valindra Nullivari with plans to prank a friend, but the Ranaleth attempted to take away the lockpick with the thoughts of bad intentions from the child. Ava Ranaleth conjured an illusion of a Uruk to scare the oem’ii, and one way or another Ava threw the Nullivari into the Fi’Andria pond. The oem’ii was accused of planning to steal by Laurir Raziel Aevaris and Ava, and upon Aestenia Aevaris asking about the ordeal, lied and said Valindra was attempting to recruit Ilaria. Upon Princess Valyris learning of such from her oem’ii, the Princess was rightfully upset about the situation; stating to Ava that using illusionary magics on a child is wrong. Now, there appears to be an ending to this- where Ava Ranaleth baked an apologetic cake for Princess Valyris, one that was happily accepted and enjoyed within the square of Fi’Andria. 7. The Celia’nor Tribune 3rd of The Deep Cold Y. 116 S.A. Vol. III Recent News Fi’andria was attacked by the goblins that reside within the undercity of the capital! The brave citizens and Diraar of the city did a fantastic job of protecting our home, although one odd happening has occurred; the broken bodies of the slain goblins have been impaled on stakes outside the city, and too a sign has been left stating “All orcs shall be questioned. Refusal will come with termination.” - Let it be known this was not left by the Government of Celia’nor, and rather someone on their own accord. Now, it appears that the cabbages that are grown outside the city have been taken and eaten by a bug-like creature, based on the tracks left upon the ground. Perhaps the cabbages should continue to be replanted so this creature can continue eating them, rather than us. As an addition, an individual known as Quildor, or Lu, has been banished from all Celia’norian lands- by Laurir Raziel Aevaris, and should be killed if found within Celia’norian lands. An Interview with Veralya Wynasul What is your opinion on druids? I’m not as ignorant on the subject as I once was, and have revised my heavily supported theory in light of new evidence I’ve attained. I took a deep dive with a real druid in the field and got a glimpse into the life of druii. It turns out that not every druii is bad. However, there is a deep dark cult of evil druii lurking within the darkness of the forest who do twist and warp nature to do their bidding. Particularly, they hone their skills on pigeons, which they use to spy on all. If you see a pigeon, do be sure to kill it on sight. Give an inside look into the Wynasul Talon’ii The Wynasul Talon’ii is quite a prestigious family, and that comes with very high standards we must be held to. As an Evarir Talon’ii, there are simply some ideals we must attain unto. Specifically, all within the talon’ii must set out to reach the idea of “progress through arcane and artistry”. Such can be seen all around, with the fashion trends that emerge, and the various arcane advancements that have been made. At times, from an outside perspective, it may seem as though we are a bit too focused on high expectations. However, the values of not only the talon’ii but Celia’nor must be met in every instance. What’s your biggest accomplishment? I’ve had quite a few in my lifetime thus far. From the moment I was born, the stars set me up for success, being the first Celian native within the principality. Being born and raised in Celia’nor is quite a feat, though what is also notable is my joining the Laurir’heial at the age of 19, the youngest council member to be installed to this day. All of these could be considered accomplishments, though I’d argue that it isn’t my fashion trends or fortune upon fortunes of minas that make me proud of who I am. It is the fact that I could marry the man that I love. In the end- I believe that choosing my own happiness is what is truly my biggest accomplishment thus far. The Colloquy - Celia’nors gossip column Lovers manage to evade fate as they wed following a volatile, intriguing ceremony to begin. It all began with a beautiful scene, luminescent fabric billowing and lights twinkling, encapsulating the theme of opalescent elegance. However, such peace was soon dismantled as Mythaldir Wynasul burst through the door, demanding the two separate due to Ante’ahern’s appearance and wealth status. Disparaging upon the Athri’onn name, two rivaling families’ issues all came to light, shifting the view upon what was known before. From Mythaldir’s comments on the Athri’onn attempting to usurp the Wynasul’s wealth through marriage, to Ante’ahern’s recognition of Mythaldir’s absence from familial affairs, the entire truth was revealed at this event… Two-star crossed lovers from rivaling families surmount the obstacles in their way and manage to evade what was potentially fated for them. Evarir Veralya Wynasul and Ante’ahern Wynasul have gotten married, winning the goose chase after the wedding with the victor goose champion, Bartholomew Athri’onn. This story of overcoming fate through the power of love must have inspired others to enact on their heart’s desire, as there were two noble weddings in the elven week following. However, at the wedding of Laurir Senna Cerusil and Numerian Visaj, an interesting occurrence happened. The new husband was lofted into the air, perhaps a new Cerusilian tradition? In any case- the groom seemed rather surprised, or displeased, at the entire occurrence. Too, there are rumors amongst the city that Siria Py’lrie and Zoddryk Nullivari are courting, currently. They appear to be quite the close duo, and it is obvious that they may, perhaps, be more than just friends. It is apparent these rumors simply cling themselves to the Py’lrie Talon’ii, though Virar Siria has even been seen bringing her companion to Py’lrie family affairs! 9. The Celia’nor Tribune 13th of The First Seed Y. 115 S.A. Vol. II Recent News Recently, a Petran Rebel was caught within Celia’nor capital walls. He had previously been a raider unto the city, swiftly captured and taken to Haense by the Diraar. Amongst other happenings, a defensive pact between the Principality of Celia’nor, Principality of Nor’asath, and the Crownlands of Amaethea. In a recent court, it was said that this was primarily due to the recent and constant attacks and threats against elven citizens of all three signatories. The Irehearts, the attackers, seek out elven ears, and continuously attempt to procure them via duels or fights. All citizens are expected to be armed, and any occurrences are to be reported to the Diraar. Upon writing this, the issue has since been resolved and there is peace with the Irehearts. Now, the Orcs of Krugmar, the Iron Horde have now been the ones attacking, causing harm to Nor’asath for unknown, unsaid reasons. It has been known that Krugmar bars entry of Celia’norian citizens, and say unneeded slander. Thus, Celia’nor and Nor’asath have declared war on the Orcs of Krugmar for their treasonous crimes. Upon writing this, the issue has since been resolved and there is peace with the Iron Horde. For more exciting news, there is one wedding scheduled within Celia’nor this Elven Week. It is between Evarir Veralya Wynasul and Laurir Ante’ahern Athri’onn, and it is recommended that all who read this attend! An Interview with Princess Valyris Who is your Role Model The biggest role model for myself is those that have led the high elven people before myself. The best way to ensure success is to see what worked and what didn’t from times past and present. I am able to view their successes and failures objectively and model myself after them to be better for the people and Celia’nor. One of my biggest inspirations is the founder of Celia’nor, Ivarielle Ibarellan, who embodied what it means to be of Celia’nor. She is one of the greatest mages known to this realm and surpassed what it means to be a mage. Along with that, her diplomatic and martial abilities were unrivaled. What is your biggest accomplishment The biggest accomplishment I have done on a personal level has been my pursuit of arcane advancements. Within my magical capabilities I have been able to reach new heights in attire and in general developments of life. I’ve created self-operating music boxes, outfits that have multifunctional uses hidden within them, spectacles that create flames where you are looking, a self-reliant and automatic functioning tavern, along with many other pursuits. This goes in my opinion, far beyond the scope of anything that could be accomplished politically. Politics are a constantly changing environment, whereas these inventions set what could become in terms of the arcane for centuries to come. What do you plan for the future? Some of my most recent projects include the exportation of artifacts and enchantments, a new library, and an overhaul of the current square. For my less-than-tangible projects, expanding upon our traditions with bringing them to life with a new breath is the goal. Taking tradition and developing it further to ensure they do not grow stale and continue to be enjoyable for all that partake. There is much to be developed in Celia’nor in the coming years, which can only be best explained by those that are spearheading the projects. The Colloquy - Celia’nors gossip column In recent years, the two wards of Princess Valyris- Nelecar Maeyr’onn and Linnea Py’lrie, are often seen bickering amongst one another. Absolute rivals against one another, yet, it appears that there may very well be something else happening. The two are often seen quite close with one another in hushed whispers, rather than the shouting that’s often heard… is there something more between the two? 10. The Celia’nor Tribune 12th of Sun’s Smile Y. 113 S.A. Vol. I Recent News In the recent years there has been ongoing, mass changes amongst the Celia’nor government. Court reforms have been put in order, and there are many positions that remain open. Anyone with a slight interest in any open positions is encouraged to apply as soon as they can. Along with the reforms of the court, a new society has been formed with three institutions; the Arcanic Court, the Slumbering Scholar Tavern, and the Fi’Andria theater. Named after the Great Ivarielle Ibarellan, the Silver Phoenix society overall focuses on the culture and prosperity of Celia’nor. Any individuals with curiosity involving the society are recommended to seek out any of the three Masohaers. The new Order of the White Gryphon have latterly revoked all Sil titles from the former Order, allowing for more individuals to earn a new sense of honor and merit when earning their place amongst the Knights, rather than the title being earned off of length-of-service and military feats. Those interested in squireing for the order should contact the Grandmaster of the Order. Recently, a pact between Celia’nor and Petra was recently drafted and published. It states a military alliance, military cooperation, and trade. With this, in the most recent court session held by High Princess Valyris it has been proclaimed that the Principality will assist Archduchess Renilde of Petra in maintaining her rightful place on her throne during the Petran Civil War. Upon the release of this, Renilde of Petra was victorious in the Petran Civil War. An Interview with Raziel Amethil Who is your Role Model Ivarielle Ibarellan - The Silver Phoenix. When I was merely six years old I met her - I snuck alongside the army that tried to liberate Haelun’or from its oppressors. When she hold that speech in the forum I decided that I too wished to fight for her in my childish enthusiasm. Yet when I got to talk to her she offered to personally train me - which she did, after I was to learn the beautiful arts: Singing and playing the lyre for, as she said it isn’t good for a child to just learn warfare from a young age. What is your biggest accomplishment This is hard to answer. I genuinely think there wasn’t anything great or special - but there were many small things. Yet, one thing that was a true honor was being allowed to sit on Ivarielle’s council at such a young age. What do you plan for the future? To serve Celia’nor and protect Ivarielle’s Ideals - and to further the knowledge in Celia’nor, as I plan to serve with knowledge and steel. How would you describe the Silver Phoenix’ Society? The Silver Phoenix’ Society are those mali’aheral and lliran who intend to preserve Celianorian culture and tradition.
