  2. LA CORTE DE GIRASOL MEMORIAS DE LA PRINCESA RENATA ALBA Issued on the 6th of FRANCISCO'S BLESSING of the year of 135 D.R. INTRODUCTION This missive is a collection of works attributed to Her Royal Highness, Renata Alba who passed away before seeing her works published. The Courts have seen it fit to honor this posting with her memory, and have full intentions of putting this to her works well known. With the marking time of Hyspia’s fashion swaying in and out of the humid badlands, There has been a notable need of history to honor the past generations and put eyes to the current. The following describes the history of Hyspian fashion and fine styles. [!] A depiction of the late Princess-Royal, Renata Alba of Clemente (Art credit to @zevenity) Early Ages - Riveran Era In the early ages of Hyspian fashion, hereby referred to as the Riveran Era, the clothing those donned kept to the bright fabrics we see even today - but have a notable difference. Men's outfits worn often came to be a two or three piece, whether the outfit of pants, a tunic and vest showcased in the depiction below: The clothing donned by women was generally a square necklined dress, with flowers embroidered upon the cloth. Frills and ruffles would be commonly seen amongst the collar and it wouldn't be uncommon to see an added layer over the dress, such as a shawl or apron. Hanso-Hyspian - Sofian Era In later ages, a new style of fashion sprouted, known primarily as Hanso-Hyspian and the leading trendsetter having been the Princess Sofia de Pelear. Vibrantly colored fabrics met with a multitude of layers to shield from the winter cold, and heavy embroidery seen on each piece. An excerpt on the fashion is had here. This fashion took to popularity when the Hyspians were vassalized beneath the Kingdom of Hanseti-Ruska. The square necklines of the previous era were kept, yet more intricacies were introduced in the day to day wear. Jewels and embroidery became much more commonplace, alongside fur lining to provide extra warmth. Ponchos became more in use, based heavily upon varying animals and hanging loosely around the Hyspian male form. If not a poncho, then a vest, for layers became a Hyspians best friend during this period of time. Sovereignty Ages - Ramonan Era In Hyspias current age, the Hyspian people have since evolved into a new era under Sovereign Ramona I. Square necklines are exchanged out for draping ones, or a mix between. Layers are still important but I'm an entirely different way than before, as it acts more as a fashion statement than a way to control the cold. Cloaks, belts, sashes - each is paired with vibrant and supple fabrics to make the dazzling array of Hyspian outfits showcased in the Sovereignty. Rather than the loose clothing of before, men's clothing in this era is of a tighter nature. Vests meet with a frilly tunic and tight fitting pants tucked into a pair of long boots. Sovereignty Ages - Golden Era After the sudden and traumatic passing of crowns, Xiomara and Julian of Hyspia had pledged and led a new age of attire that is seen in elements across every noble and common house. Just beginning to bud, the fashions of the previous era blend into the next - introducing translucent veils, heavy ponchos and draping sashes. The embroidery is locked up a notch, found in the even most minute details of one's outfit. Even the most common Hyspian is fashion conscientious, pairing vibrant fabrics together to unveil a masterpiece. The mix of draping and square necklines continue into this era, and the clothing is loose, markedly easy to move within. Ponchos have found their way back to fashion, half skirts and cloaks alongside it. Notably the Salazars influence on riding attire and chaps have found their way back, a notable new bright and extravagant style being enforced throughout the courts, with crowns and tiaras brighter and more notable of their wearer. The courts also account for the aspects of layers and golden elements within the day-to-day wear, a tradition that has carried on. DIOS LOS BENDIGA, HER ROYAL HIGHNESS, Renata Alba, Princess-Royal of Hyspia, Duchess of La Dorada, Baroness of Clemente, Gran Chamberlan of the Girasol Courts.
  3. LA CORTE DE GIRASOL THE COURTS OF HYSPIA Issued on the 6th of FRANCISCO'S BLESSING of the year of 135 D.R. REFORMATION & REFURBISHMENT The courts of Hyspia have started in a new era of flourishment, to befit this change in scenery, there is a new sigil aligned with its prospects, and name to follow. With close consideration, as an ode to the city and its bright encouragement, aswell as each Sovereigns reign pushing for this Golden Era it is only fit that a court’s name should follow the theme. With grace and care, The Sovereign court presents LA CORTE SOL DORADA The city’s very own Señor Emanuel de Aoula @Jayphynph has crafted the new sigil to help us shine a greater light on the path of the golden courts. DIOS LOS BENDIGA, HER ROYAL HIGHNESS, Valencia Belen, Princess-Royal of Hyspia, Duchess of La Dorada, and Countess of Rosario HER LADYSHIP, Ser Cirilla Fontesar, Gran Chamberlain of la Corte de Girasol, “The Fang breaker”, Lady-Protector of The Sovereigns, Secretary to The Sovereigns
  4. LA CORTE DE GIRASOL Noviazgo y matrimonio Issued on the 12th of Veronicas Strength of the year of 131 D.R. INTRODUCTION The Noble ways of proper and dignified courtship and Marriage are not difficult. Certainly however, they are not simple. To be a Noble is to be expected to follow certain requirements and structures. Those who sway outside of the guidelines, could be enlightened, or they could be revolutionary. We however, have seen those who sway outside of the lines without proper cause tend to falter at the hand of tradition and find themselves suddenly outside the eligibility of a noble. To keep the people well informed, a study on the Courtship and Marriage traditions has been laid out. This is a mere suggestion and guide to a noble life, rather than one of certain doom. [!] The First Lord and Lady Salazar riding towards their noble estate. EXPECTATIONS OF COURTSHIP Royals and Rulers When discussing a trivial topic of Nobility, we must understand that these lines come from the foot-steps of the Royals, and the Rulers of old. Finding a familial structure in mind is most helpful to this endeavor. Traditionally seen, a courtship within the de Pelear family consists of three requirements at a minimum. The Trial of Loyalty, In which a contender of the Royal Family, is expected to join the enlistments of the military. The Trial of Honor, Where the contending hand will be asked to host an event in honor of their city and nation. The Trial of Strength, To succeed in the prior two trials, one final test of strength is shown, a duel faced by a member of the royal family, in honor of their chosen courtship. Though these trials have been seen during the reign of Ramona I, and have continued since, change is inevitable to each nation and ruler alike. The Sovereign may see a trial fit to the situation, and is allowed to exemplify trials as they might like. Lords and Ladys The Aspiring steps of Royalty lead the ways of Nobility. With examples shown through time, each family is allowed to make their own requirements of their Court-ship allowances. It is not for The Crown to decide a family's matter. It is however, a recommended ambition that a noble is a precious thing within the walls of la Dorada, it should be safe-gaurded and highly sought after. Therefore, the lengths of nobility shouldn’t extend to a mere suitor who has little interest in the established ranks and wealths to offer. The Noble Families of the past have required trials of their children, though many of those families have come and gone. The current noble houses are encouraged to make their own trials, though not as stringent as a Royal perhaps, they may be enticed to a bull fight, or a champion of the rodeo. Titleless and Tired There is however an exception to the noble steps. A luxury in the eyes of a Noble or Royal doomed to be nagged of trials, whereas a common family or Gentry family alike are not as encouraged to participate. To find their own and establish relationships within any place. A commoner may marry into and out of any place they stand in. Though if courting above their stations, they may be enlisted to certain terms above, they are otherwise exemplified from any noble requirements. PEARLS The Pearl-Posal To begin the process of Courting a Lord or Lady, it is needless to say, that there are no rules against gender or rank within Hyspia. There are, however, nation-wide traditions. Such as pearl fishing. When asking for someone’s hand in courtship, it is expected to present the chosen with a pearl. Pearls are a significant part of the Hyspian culture and represent the new life and love aspiring for a brighter spring. The Pearls of la Dorada are rich within the Rio de Zafiros, to fish one out of the water and present it to a potential suitor is no small feat. Once you’ve claimed a pretty pearl, finding your courage and offering the gem towards a likely lord or lady, they are faced with two options.. Bliss and glee, of acceptance and love, or Rejection and Doom. When one has accepted a pearl, the courtship process is within bloom. It is heavily judged for one to assume more than one court-ship. Once a court-ship has started, either party may call off all intentions, and pursue a new suitor, however once such has happened, the pearl within the courtship should be returned to the River, so a new couple may be blessed with better fortunes. Rejection, Doom, and Disappointment At the turn of events, when one faces Doom and Gloom, they are expected to take the rejected pearl and throw it back into the Rio de Zafiros. Once throwing the pearl into the water, they have turned a new leaf in their life and may continue their path of mourning and moving on. By throwing a pearl back into the Sapphire waters, it is believed one receives luck and rejoices in new life intentions. The pearls of someone's misfortunes are then returned to be fished out once again, and hopefully face someone else's rejoice. MARRIAGE The marriage events are always done in the church and by a priest, then they are celebrated with an after party, for commoners, might be a tavern event straight after, for nobles it might be a family event in the city, and royals may be like a palace ball or celebration When marrying into a higher classed family, one is expected to take on their family colors and banners, they are also expected to take on the higher name. To leave your family and marry into a lower class, no titles from the upper family will be passed down to children and they are taken out of inheritance. They however, if the head of house agrees may keep their birth titles. When marrying into a commoner's family, there is no elevation of rank for the common born. DIOS LOS BENDIGA, HER LADYSHIP, Ser Cirilla Fontesar, Gran Chamberlan of la Corte de Girasol, “The Fang breaker”, Lady-Protector of The Sovereigns, Secretary to The Sovereigns

  7. LA CORTE DE GIRASOL INFORMATIONAL GUIDE Issued on the 14th of Veronica’s Strength of the year of 124 D.R. EL PUENTE El Puente is a week-long Hyspian festival, in which lifelong connections are bridged and made. Friendships are formed, companions with whom you can enjoy your time alongside, and for some, they find their lifelong partner, their spouse. The Sovereign State of Hyspia is pleased to announce its second El Puente festival as its generation comes of age. The festival will take place from the 6th of Maria’s Peace [Oct 25th] to the next Saints week ending upon the 8th of Maria’s Peace [Nov 1st]. Sign-ups begin today to be slotted for a debut and end in a Saints week. INFORMATIONAL GUIDE This guide shall provide the necessary information to our citizenry and visitors on what to expect in the upcoming El Puente. On the matter of debuts, there are a few things of note to keep in mind for those attending: When planning your clothing, it is best to keep in mind that this is within Hyspia - heavy furs and coats may lead to heat exhaustion, even as food and beverages will be supplied. Those debuting are encouraged to wear familial colors, with a hint of gold somewhere upon their person. Hyspia is known for its vibrant wear and fashions, and for those unaware of it, an informational missive has been attached as an in-depth look into Hyspian fashion. Men and women alike are meant to debut, with participation meant to come from both sides, and those of all status. In an effort to keep this from being a lengthy process, royalty may debut alone, those of higher status debuting first - while those following shall debut with their family. Showcased in the previous El Puente, an exchange of tokens will take place. Those debuting are requested to bring a token, whether a flower or item of sentimental value - which are then to be given to an individual they believe has most contributed to who they have become today. FURTHER IMPORTANT INFORMATION The following will be a guide as to etiquette to adhere to during El Puente. The donning of tiaras is allowed in this for the nobility, should they have an ancestor they inherited it from. Be careful not to be alone with another, as it could lead to rumor and scandal. Chaperones will be around for this very reason. A Quinceañera is a cultural tradition in which when a female comes to be fifteen years of age, a coming-of-age celebration is held. The male version, though more uncommon compared to its counterpart, is the Quinceañero. When wishing to propose courtship, the offering of pearls is what one must do. When filling out your application to sign-up, which the form will be attached below, a Peer is the titled head of the household of your family, for example, this being the Viscountess Salazar or the Baron Murietta. The heir is the declared heir of that household. If you are neither, you will simply mark that you are neither and specify whether you are a commoner, gentry, nobility or royalty in one of the following questions. Otherwise, as to your application, be sure to include your full name, what nation you reside in and any pertinent information for our El Puente planners. If one wishes to partake in the upcoming El Puente, one may direct their interest towards the form below. Sign-ups will end on the 6th of Horen’s Calling [Oct 23rd] and we will be accepting no more entries thereafter, as the debut list will be published once closed. DIOS LOS BENDIGA, HER SERENE HIGHNESS, Xiomara I, Sovereign of Hyspia, Duchess of Pacazu, Viscountess of Banderas, Baroness of Arenisca, Del’mar, Monterro, Campagnon and Sevilla, Lady of La Dorada, Lady of Niseep, Gereon's Hold, and Ciudad de Plata, Protector of the Hyspian People, Protector of the Farfolk, etcetera. 9. LA CORTE DE GIRASOL ROYAL COURT OF 114 D.R. Issued on the 15th of Veronica’s Strength of the year of 114 D.R. INTRODUCTION This document is meant to act as a retelling of what transpired during the royal court of 114 D.R. The first court held under the reign of Xiomara I. It details any oaths, announcements and petitions made throughout the duration of court. [!] A depiction of the Hyspian throne. As court begun and those have gathered in the throneroom of the Girasol Palace, the newly made national anthem was debuted by the Conductor, Vizondesa Marcela Denodado. It was thereafter the entry of the newly named Sovereign, Xiomara I was made, beginning the courts off in a prayer for those in attendance. Afterwards, the deaths of the late Crown-Princess Santana Leya and the Sovereign Ramona I were announced alongside the timing for their funeral which was to take place after court. The peers were called upon thereafter to swear their oaths to the Crown; The Viscounty of Banderas The Barony of Campos Salvajes The Dual Barony of Soles Gemelos And the Barony of Ramonadora Each peer came forward and swore themselves to the Crown and Hyspia. Having been dismissed, the next part of court took place, in which people were called upon for Knighthood; Lord Julian Salazar Sovereign-Dowager Konstantin of Vilacz Baron Nicolas Murietta And Baroness-Consort Revekka Murietta Each took the oath of knighthood, and rose as Sers of the realm. Each were provided a moniker, save for Lord Julian Salazar, in order of, ‘the Bear Knight’, ‘the Blunt’ and ‘the Expedient’. The Knights were dismissed, save for Ser Nicolas, where he was asked if he would accept the posthumous knighting of his father, Señor Vicente II Murietta. This was accepted, and he was knighted as Ser Vicente II ‘the Loyal’. Next was the calling of the Sovereigns council; Ser Nicolas Murietta Señora Esmeray Luceran Baron-Regent Pedro Salazar Sovereign-Father Luis of Ramonadora Princesa Valencia Belen Señora Esmeray and the Sovereign-Father were not there, but the other three stepped forward and accepted the roles set forth, in this order: Grand Councilor, the Colonel and the Court Chamberlain. A missive was produced for all to see afterwards, attached to this document for your convenience: El Consejo de Hyspia: The Council of Hyspia. Following this, two announcements were made. The first was the creation of the Knightly Order of Carlos, named aptly after the first Knight of Hyspia in the Old Kingdom, Ser Carlos Mendez. The second announcement was of a city expansion, to better accommodate the people and accepting donations from any who wish to assist. Petitions were then announced and those wishing to petition the crown lined up. One such petition was Lady Maldita Murietta, petitioning for training so that she may defend her home - her father, Ser Nicolas Murietta stepped up to take this role on. After came a visiting Orc, who wished to know where he may get some chimichongas. It was replied in kind that there are surely shops in the city selling what he wants. The Baron-Regent Pedro Salazar requested that the law of nobility to be altered, to allow those of the non mainline in their family to try for meritorial heirship. This was approved, and is pending an official missive. A young man requested permission to set up his traveling bakery cart within the city and was granted his request, so long as a portion of food is donated towards the churches alms chest. A young woman wished to learn the history of Hyspia and speak privately with the new Sovereign. In turn, she was told to find a council member after the courtly proceedings had finished. The High Pontiff, Deunoro I and his retinue spoke next, as to the matter of coronation and to inform Hyspia of their new Bishop, the Bishop Mattia. It was spoken that the matters of regency has yet to be resolved and great thanks was made for a Bishop who has made his presence actively known in the city. Following this was the request of diplomacy from a visiting diplomat, Senora Nemea Ke Kai’len. It was agreed to for a letter to be sent, so they may organize a time for a diplomatic meeting. And lastly came Ser Blanca-Francisca, her petition twofold. She wished to take on a role of advisor to her grand-niece, which was approved on the condition of her accepting the task to assist in the forming of the Knightly Order of Carlos. Secondly, she wished for the approval of the civil union of her and her longtime partner. This was approved on two conditions, she must bring her partner to a family dinner and must make some form of art to commemorate Hyspias first civil union. After petitions came to a close, it was announced that the funeral of the late Crown-Princess Santana Leya and the Sovereign Ramona I will take place directly after. A prayer closed out the court thereafter, where people parted for the Church of Blessed Francisco. Honorable Discharge In an honorable discharge from the position, they are released from the role whether due to time constraints, family matters or otherwise - and may take on such a role again in the future if they wish it. Dishonorable Discharge In an dishonorable discharge from the role, the person has done some form of harm to those they worked for - and this may not take on such a role again in the future, whether under the same family or elsewhere. This section is to add further as to what they may expect from a family they work for within Hyspia, as is their right. They have the right to room and board to be provided. They have the right to a minimum pay of ten minas weekly for their work, further amounts to be negotiated with their employer. They have the right to be treated fairly. Expectations of the employee may range, due to what role they may take on, but generally the expectations one might expect are the following: The setting up of an event The caretaking of children The upkeep and cleanliness of a household And food preparation Should expectations not outlined in their role not be met, or the basic rights outlined here, it is subject for termination. ON THE NOBILITY Outlined in this section is what those of the nobility may take on, so as to give a clear guide for future purposes. Handmaidens and Cupbearers The role of handmaiden and cupbearer is the junior role to that of Ladies-in-Waiting and Lords-in-Waiting. Generally these are kept to those of a young age, leaving them room for elevation once older. In the hiring of these positions, the nobility and the gentry alike may have up to three unless otherwise specified - allowing assistance in their day-to-day ventures. Those of these roles are to be provided the basic rights outlined above, and any additions may be had through negotiation between employer and employee. The duties of the role generally consist of the care and cleanliness of a household, the preparation and serving of a meal and menial duties as needed. Ladies-in-waiting and Lords-in-Waiting Dama de Honors and Caballero de Honors, or more commonly known as a Ladies-in-waiting and Lords-in-Waiting is an esteemed title, in which a man or woman of a lower status than the person they serve, attends to the person directly and assists them with day-to-day matters. Such an honor may only be bestowed upon the noble and royal class, and furthermore, only to a select few. This section will expand on the requirements of having such a figure, whether as a Lady-in-waiting or Lord-in-Waiting and what someone may expect while working as one. Those working in the position may expect the basic rights outlined above, with any additions the family may see fit to grant. Alongside this, the granting of second-hand clothing or jewelry is commonplace to use as one would please and a symbol of the family they work for. They are to be afforded respect for their work, as their actions represent themselves and the family they work for alike. This role may also have an honorable or dishonorable discharge, as outlined in the definitions above. Due to the esteem of this position, constraints must be put on, which are outlined below: The Sovereign and Sovereign-Consort may have as many as they like attending to them, for they oversee the entirety of the Sovereign nation. The heir to Hyspia may have four attending to them at any given time. From there, in order, the Princess-Royal or Prince equivalent may have three. Princes and Princesses may have two, and the firstborn children of each may have one. Infantas and Infantes may have two, and the firstborn children of each may have one. From hereon is the noble class, for noble families of which boast a meritorial heirship, the matter of a lord or lady-in-waiting is one in which the firstborn child is allotted the privilege until such a time an heir is declared; once such is done, if the firstborn is not the heir - they may no longer hold the lord or lady-in-waiting. In ranking order; A Duke and Duchess may have two, and their firstborn and heir may have one. A Count and Countess may have one each, with their firstborn and heir being able to have one. A Viscount and Viscountess may have one each, and their heir may only have one. A Baron and Baroness may have one each, and their heir may only have one. Those of a commoner status may not have any, and it is the same for those of the Gentry. House Guard In the role of house guard, each noble family may have five in total. The guard's oath is to Hyspia and the royal family first and foremost, and they are considered part of the Hyspian Military, to be called on in the event of conflict. It is the nobles job to pay their house guard for any work done under their household, and provide them with the basic rights outlined above. Alongside this is providing needed gear, steed and medical assistance should they come to be injured. The role of a house guard generally consists of the duty of protecting the family they serve, defending in a duel should the request be made and guarding during travels. This role may also have an honorable or dishonorable discharge, as outlined in the definitions above. Miscellaneous Roles There are many roles that fit under what is considered Servantry, all of which are considered to have the basic rights outlined above. For anything further, as to duties and expectations, alongside benefit and reward - is to be discussed directly between employee and employer. When a family takes on a new member of their staff, they must submit this to the courts, so this may be outlined under the Hyspia Servantry Directory. 16. THE HYSPIAN CALENDAR AN UPDATED VERSION La Corte de Girasol The 4th of Javier's Justice, 106 D.R. Upon recent study of the previous Hyspian calendar, it was taken note that it could better celebrate our historical figures of Hyspia. It is with this in mind that our months have been changed into something more fitting for the Hyspian people, and are to be detailed in this missive. Veronica’s Strength This month falls on the commonly known month of the Sun’s Smile. [Sunday] Veronica was known as Princess Veronica of Hyspia, a warrior princess who fought in the pursuit of Hyspia and her family, who later died on the battlefield during the Coalition War. Javier’s Justice This month falls on the commonly known month of Harren’s Folly. [Monday] Baron Javier de Pelear was a very firm and resolute leader, dedicated to leading his people through the trials of the War of the Wigs and maintaining peace throughout his lands. He laid the foundations for Hyspian Reunification. Laurelie’s Piety This month falls on the commonly known month of Sigismund’s End. [Tuesday] Laurelie was known once as the first Vicereine of Hyspia, a humble and pious woman who worked tirelessly for all Hyspians. Her time was spent sewing clothing and plushies for those less fortunate and praying in the church. Horen’s Calling This month is the same as the common calendar, giving a nod to the Exalted Horen and his importance to all humans and Canonists. [Wednesday] Francisco’s Blessing This month falls on the commonly known month of Owyn’s Light. [Thursday] Bl. Francisco was a Cardinal of the Church who led the Canonist Hyspians throughout the Hyspian Schism and who the de Pelears personally followed. He is responsible for the canonization of Hyspia, and laid the groundwork for Canonism to become the primary Hyspian religion. He was martyred by King Antonio. Maria’s Peace This month falls on the commonly known month of Godfrey’s Triumph. [Friday] This month is for the first Queen of Hyspia, Queen Maria. A woman of a farming and common background, she led multiple agricultural reforms. She represents the common peoples dream aboveall. Sofia’s Beauty This month falls on the commonly known month of Tobias Bounty. [Saturday] Sofia was known as Princess Sofia and later the Queen Sofia. She was said to have twenty-two marriage proposals by the time she’d reached eighteen years of age, and even in her later years was reported to have an eternal beauty. 17. EL ZODIACO DE HYSPIA The Hyspia Zodiac Volume III La Corte de Girasol 3rd of Javier’s Justice, 106 D.R. LOS SIGNOS DEL ZODIACO [!] A depiction of the blood moon over the deserts of Hyspia. The Girasol Courts announces this month's Zodiac fortunes, and in turn announces an extra special edition: the Blood Moon. This month brings us many changes, which all have surely noticed as a blood moon rises above in the darkened night sky. It is with this ill omen above that we wish to forewarn the zodiacs, for this month provides no luck. LA LUNA DE SANGRE La Luna de Sangre or in common fashion known as the Blood Moon. The sun hasn’t been seen in months and in lieu of it, the Blood Moon looms ominously overheard, marking it as constant night. An omen, surely. EL TORO El Toro, i.e. the Bull. The Bull will find their temper flaring and tensions running high this month. More than ever, they would need to be careful with their relationships and friendships, lest they fall apart. EL ABANICO El Abanico, i.e. the Fan. The Fan will find difficulty in keeping to their elegance and usual demeanor, finding that the blood moon interferes in all of their day-to-day doings. EL CABALLO El Caballo, i.e. the Horse. The Horse will feel their energy falter, and must push harder than before to assure what is needed is done for them and those they care about alike. LA CANTUTA La Cantuta, i.e. the Cantuta. The Cantuta has their work cut out for them this month, their gifts of peace and unity being called into play nearly everyday in an attempt to calm the riled zodiacs. EL MATADOR El Matador, i.e. the Matador. The Matador may have the most luck of all the zodiacs this month, and yet it is still hardly a speck of sand in the deserts. They will find that their courage will be called upon more than ever this month. LA ARTISTA La Artista, i.e. the Performer. The Performer will truly miss the light of day, and the spotlight of the show. Struggles will be had in anything they do this month, making it extra difficult to get even one thing done. EL PAVO REAL El Pavo Real, i.e. the Peacock. The Peacock may struggle most above all. Their charisma seems to find no effect, and all attentions strays away from them during this month, which only serves to rile this Zodiac up further. Arguments and bickering are certainly in their future. Signed, HER ROYAL HIGHNESS, Renata Alba, Princess-Royal of Hyspia, Duchess of La Dorada, Baroness of Clemente, Gran Chamberlan of the Girasol Courts HIS HIGHNESS, Rafael Arsenico, Infante of Hyspia, Baron of Evaristus, Ministro del Pais, Envoy of Hyspia, Court Astrologer

  23. EL PUENTE Informational Guide La Corte de Girasol 2nd of Francisco’s Resolve, 100 D.R. [!] A depiction of the debuting Hyspians. EL PUENTE El Puente is a week-long Hyspian festival, in which lifelong connections are bridged and made. Friendships are formed, companions with whom you can enjoy your time alongside, and for some, they find their lifelong partner, their spouse. The Sovereign State of Hyspia is pleased to announce its first El Puente festival as its generation comes of age. The festival will take place from the 21st of Maria’s Peace [Saturday, May 11th] to the next Saints week ending upon the 28th of Maria’s Peace [Saturday, May 18th]. Those debuting are encouraged to wear familial colors, with a hint of blue somewhere upon their person. Showcased once before in history, under the Queen-Consort Sofia of Hyspia, an exchange of tokens will take place. When filling out your application to sign-up, which the form will be attached below, a Peer is the titled head of the household of your family, for example, this being the Viscountess Denodado or the Baroness Halcourt. The heir is the declared heir of that household. If you are neither, you will simply mark that you are neither and specify whether you are a commoner, nobility or royalty in one of the following questions. Otherwise, as to your application, be sure to include your full name, what nation you reside in and any pertinent information for our El Puente planners. If one wishes to partake in the upcoming El Puente, one may direct their interest towards the form below. Sign-ups will end on the 12th day of Francisco’s Resolve of 101 D..R. (7th of May) and we will be accepting no more entries thereafter, as the debut list will be published once closed. 24. EL ZODIACO DE HYSPIA The Hyspia Zodiac Volume II La Corte de Girasol 4th of Javier’s Justice, 100 D.R. LOS SIGNOS DEL ZODIACO [!] A depiction of the silver comet. With last month's missive published on the Hyspian Zodiacs, volume two of your monthly guide to the Zodiacs will be published so as to discern your luck and lot in life for the coming month. Alongside this, any anomalies will be detailed to cover just what is happening in our night sky. EL CABALLO DE ZAFIRO El Caballo de Zafiro or the Sapphire Horse is but one of many anomalies found within the night skies as of late. Streaking meteors, blazing comets and so much more have been seen across that of Aevos and Hyspia alike. The Sapphire Horse, though, has led our researchers to believe this will be the month of El Caballo, the Horse, for the zodiac is so strongly associated with sapphires. EL TORO El Toro, i.e. the Bull. During this month, the Bull will find that their closeness with the horse will bring them luck by association. They will enjoy added prosperity by staying close to their friend, but should they come into a fight, they will find that their luck during this month can go either way. EL ABANICO El Abanico, i.e. the Fan. Another month of trying times for the Fan, as secrets long-kept will be brought to the limelight. Even the utmost of grace may not save this particular Zodiac, so caution is forewarned. EL CABALLO El Caballo, i.e. the Horse. This is a month of prosperity for the Caballo, when everything aligns just right for them. It is the time to find work, love and to go for the goals they may have pushed off the previous month. LA CANTUTA La Cantuta, i.e. the Cantuta. The Cantuta will struggle during this month, for their peace may be interrupted by a series of actionable moments. More than ever, they must practice patience and understanding for family and friends. EL MATADOR El Matador, i.e. the Matador. Compared to the previous month, the Matadors month will not be of ease, but rather a neutral one. It can teeter either which way, luck favoring neither good nor bad, making this a good time to experiment with something new or keep with the status quo. LA ARTISTA La Artista, i.e. the Performer. The Performer will have the time of their life, and yet, their luck will flip-flop during the entirety of this month. Surprises will be around every corner, good and bad - but it is said to be a time of high risk and high reward. Their choices during this month will impact them greatly. EL PAVO REAL El Pavo Real, i.e. the Peacock. Much like the previous month, it would seem the Peacock is with luck again. They shine brightly much like stars within the night sky, grasping for what they wish and seemingly attaining it with ease. Certainly a time to preen and to grow your influence! Signed, HIS ROYAL HIGHNESS, Dimitri Otto of Koravia, Soberano-Consort of Hyspia, Duke-Consort of Pacazu, Baron-Consort of Arenisca and Del’mar, Lord of La Dorada, Lord of Niseep, Gereon's Hold, and Ciudad de Plata, Gran Maestre of El Orden de Francisco, Protector of the Hyspian People, Protector of the Farfolk HER HIGHNESS, Renata Alba de Pelear, Infanta of Hyspia, Baroness of Clemente SENORITA, Amelia Miramaris, Dama de Honor
  25. EL ZODIACO HYSPIA The Hyspia Zodiac Volume I La Corte de Girasol 3rd of Horen's Calling, 98 D.R. LOS SIGNOS DEL ZODIACO [!] A depiction of a star cluster. With the recent missive published on the Hyspian Zodiacs, a monthly guide to the zodiacs will be published so as to discern your luck and lot in life for the coming month. Alongside this, any anomalies will be detailed to cover just what is happening in our night sky. EL RACIMO DE GIRASOLES El Racimo de Girasoles or the Sunflower Cluster was found when studying the skies. The clustered stars form together, accumulating almost seemingly in the shape of a sunflower. This grouping of stars is believed to be particularly prosperous, forming during the week of our Crown Princess, Santana of Hyspias Quinceanera. Known to be the Garisol Princess, this cluster bids good tidings to her future and the future of Hyspia. EL TORO El Toro, i.e. the Bull. During this month, the bull will find that they need to work harder than ever to keep things going exactly as they wish. It’s not the time for hotheaded actions, but a time to put the stubbornness to use to aid their friend, the horse. EL ABANICO El Abanico, i.e. the Fan. This month will be trying for the fan, for it will be a month of secrets and trials that will try even the most graceful. When your friend comes to you, do not ignore them or you may find you regret it later. EL CABALLO El Caballo, i.e. the Horse. This month will be difficult for the horse most of all. Their tampered down emotions will come to a head, and they will need to call heavily upon their friends during this time to face the challenges ahead. LA CANTUTA La Cantuta, i.e. the Cantuta. The cantuta will be needed more than ever during this month, being called on by all friends for assistance in keeping peace and unity as they are known for. There will be hardly a quiet moment for this zodiac sign. EL MATADOR El Matador, i.e. the Matador. Unlike a majority of their fellow signs, the matadors' month will be one of ease. Much like the sandy bull pits, they will dance around any problems with ease and find success in most things they do during this month. A great time to be a go-getter! LA ARTISTA La Artista, i.e. the Performer. It is the month of the artist, the performer - for the largest zodiac is shining brightest. During this time, you should strive further than ever. Push for those projects, take on a bigger show and form bonds never to be forgotten. This is your time to shine. EL PAVO REAL El Pavo Real, i.e. the Peacock. The peacock's time to shine is now. Preen those feathers, put on your fanciest outfit and use this time to become exactly who you want to be. This is a great time to make friends, find potential love interests and even start a business or two. You were born to shine and now is the time. Signed, HIS ROYAL HIGHNESS, Dimitri Otto of Koravia, Soberano-Consort of Hyspia, Duke-Consort of Pacazu, Baron-Consort of Arenisca and Del’mar, Lord of Ladorada, Lord of Niseep, Gereon's Hold, and Ciudad de Plata, Gran Maestre of El Orden de Francisco, Protector of the Hyspian People, Protector of the Farfolk HER HIGHNESS, Renata Alba de Pelear, Infanta of Hyspia SENORITA, Amelia Miramaris, Dama de Honor
