The Crimson Cobblestones of Celia'nor(PK)
RianNeverfield replied to Calise11's topic in Kingdom of Norland
Carli took a moment to collect herself after reading the missive. Anger, hate and sorrow fighting for a place in her heart. A single sad "Souplady" was all she got out. She would go to her ship's cook and order that tonight, the crew shall eat tomato soup and mourn the loss of a fellow friend. -
The only thing I use the plugin for is filling up buckets of fish and release them around others. Though I would love more added, especially depth. Let us fish up small tresure maps that we can use like normal minecraft maps to find a small treasure of ingots, gems and coins. (rp items, not minas)

The Psychology of Roleplay: Where Does Our Mind Draw the Line?
RianNeverfield replied to Calise11's topic in Miscellany
On one hand I would love to say I have no issue separating between OOC and IRP, since I am still able to have meaningful relations and friendships with people oocly that I hate irply and vice versa. On the other hand I catch myself almost daily feeling the emotions of my character, if to a lesser extend. One emotion I especially struggle with, and those that know me well are not surprised, is sadness. If a character of mine goes through struggles, loss or betrayal, I do feel deeply wounded irl and often need to take a few steps back to cry a little. get that sad music rolling and just let it all out. On the other hand I do put a heavy line down at other intense feeling, such as love or hatred. While I rarely bring hatred or antagony into my characters, it still comes up every now and then, same with love. Both emotions generally really strong, I do not resonate with it at all. Friendships and rivalries can form from it, yes, but rarely does it go beyond playful banter. As a final word to my input I have to talk about friendships. Cause if I have noticed one thing, then it is me forming a deep bond of friendship with all those on the server I do interact with on a weekly basis. Some starting oocly and turning irply later on, most starting out irply and growing further oocly as we go. And I am incredibly thankful for everyone that I have met and despite some toxicity here and there, I have found lotc being a great help with ooc mental issues I deal with. <3- 30 replies

An Invitation: Celebrating a Legacy
RianNeverfield replied to MightyMott's topic in Vassals, Clans, & Guilds
Carli couldn't help it but cheer out loudly as she read over the invitation. "That's my Willow!" Followed promply by the ringing of the ship's bell to inform all members of the Nightshade and Cove. -
The Greentide Mobilizes, The Crusade Continues
RianNeverfield replied to Rig's topic in Archived Warclaims
The Nightshade was ready to leave the port at any time, so were many others. This war isn't ours to fight. May the port sink before they get their hands upon it. We shall prevail, for our home is upon the seas! -
Khorvad's Influence is everywhere. It's our duty as children of Urguan to fight it where possible. - Narvok oz Urguan!
-
The young Captain, Carli looked upon the announcement with a big grin on her face before sharing the good news with her crew.

kirkja dverga THE NEW HIGH PRECEPTOR OF THE KIRKJA DVERGA.
RianNeverfield replied to The Tough Guy's topic in Da Kirkja Dverga
The new High Preceptor stood proudly among friends and family as he received the new title. "Ah will see tae carreh dis ring an' position wif raised 'ead an' make dose dat came beforeh meh proud." -
Carli sat within their captain's quarters, for once reading over one of these demands. She couldn't help but giggle as she shook her head. "If it's the land they want, let them have it. We've been bleeding for those wanna-be's up in their mensions enough.." The 'ker took the paper and threw it out of her window. Her ship, The Nightshade, ready to leave these shores at any given moment.

IRON BARON ANNOUNCEMENT: THE HEFRUMM BOOZE EMBARGO
RianNeverfield replied to Ardory's topic in Dwarven Realms & Culture
"PAH! Dis be nae Iron Baron. De Baron is supposed tae unite, ale is fer everehone. Dis be madness." Aerrund shouted through the brewery. "Grelu! Tell de Automatons tae send a shipment o' Urguan Gold an' Silver tae 'efrumm. Ale shall nae stop flowin' fer either side. Iron Baron me arse!" -
Aerrund, the Templar dwarf could barely hold his laughter reading over the missive. A dismissive "Canonists" was all he could state before his overly obese gold goat decided to take off with him once more.

GRAND CHAMPION TOURNAMENT'S OF URGUAN
RianNeverfield replied to Epicethan4's topic in Grand Kingdom of Urguan
Aerrund read over the tournament invite with a grand smile. "Dis will be a great excersize fer lil' Grelu! HAH! Cannae wait tae meet som ol' friends on de Battlefield eitha!" -
Aerrund read over the newest news report, sitting in his chair outside the Mountain Brews Brewery, overlooking his kids childlabouring away at the taterfields. He gave a good chuckle at some of the news though seemed progressively more confused. "Nae news on de return o' Fathah Alaric, nae news on de weddin' o' de 'igh chief an' naethin' even as much as mentionin' de cullin' o' de necromancer wifin Urguan? Verreh well, de news are nae alwaes up tae speed et seems."

Been there, was fun. Would love to see more classes such as a beastmaster or alchemist. Otherwise the event was fun even though I was a bit late. It would maybe be dvised to summarise advantage and disadvantage rules in this post as well so people have a quick understanding of it. +1

Aerrund read over the pages with great interest as he sat alone within the large feast hall. "Wha' a mos' opportune toime." He thought to himself, looking towards his freshly brewed barrels of 'Urguan Gold'. "Et would nae 'urt tae invest intae a new age o' gold an' ah would certainleh nae moind some coin rollin' ovah me table eithah." A satisfied smile crossed the Priest's face as he raised his heavy body from his chair only to set out, with profit on his mind, praying for a prosperous future of all dwarvenkind.

A smile shot across Aerrund's face as he read the note out to his children. "Armakak's Sun shines through even de darkest o' clouds." And with that he made sure to spread the good news among clan and friends.

Kinslayers - Death of Thorim Stoutheart
RianNeverfield replied to Mestvin's topic in Dwarven Realms & Culture
A Silverbraid kneeled before the Shrine of Armakak, repeating the following word over and over to himself with teary eyes. "Kinslayer" His echo continues to hall through the Temple for hours, but eventually it was left behind empty. Empty, aside from two ginger beard braids. "We do not chose our destinies, but we do our duty. Big or small, we shall do our duty." - Grelu Khron'edhekal, 38th King of Urguan -
The Red Shadow: Death's March Through Urguani Lands
RianNeverfield replied to Behindbush's topic in Dwarven Realms & Culture
The templar coated in blue recited the quote of the defiled king: "We do not chose our destinies, but we do our duty. Big or small, we shall do our duty." -

A Funeral for the Brave
RianNeverfield replied to CharlestheDwarf's topic in Dwarven Realms & Culture
"May Dungrimm guide her over safely!" -
Aerrund read the letter of Danika's passing in silence, he could feel rage building, something he thought he controlled so well for many years. No words were said as he locked his doors, took up his blade and set out to the white city. He had many thoughts running through his head, but this was not the time, he just wanted to be there for his family.
