We had a very beautiful drawn map in the past, it just wasn't especially useful. All we really need to do it just upload the current map save to minecraftworldmap.com and we're golden.

Fixing the hole isn't the issue. It's t he fact that they're randomly appearing without an obvious cause. Fix one hole, five more appear. Not makin' much progress :P

I've been asking for this, literally, for months. Anyways, in order of most to least important (but all quite important): We need a lead dev. Our updates are very erratic and have no direction. When certain staff members take up a project and they are considered a 'lead dev' for that project, its very discouraging to see all their ideas shot down, even though they're 'heading' the project, whether they even knew that or not. Perhaps do away with VAs: No more lockpicking, can steal 5-10% from an unlocked chest maybe? Better VIP perks. We need to add more, not take away. I could go on for a long time but I don't really see any point in it. To me, LoTC is not fun because it's hardly Minecraft. We should be playing LoTC-flavored minecraft, not forum roleplaying through minecraft. Players don't really understand the difference between RPG, RP, RP-RPG, Faction, PVP, Etc. Sometimes I don't feel like spending 2 hours roleplaying to get a sword made. Sometimes I just wanna throw some sticks and ingots together and go beat mobs. When I want to play Minecraft, I'll play it. When I want to RP, I'll do it.

Err, I'd disagree. I think all of us are in the same boat now: forcing an economy is probably the worst thing you can do for a server.

^ What Redbaron said Your tone really comes off... well, incredibly rude and arrogant 99% of the time. Might want to work on that. For the past 10~ days or so, most of the 'server being unaviaible' issue was due to mojang borking 1.6.2/1.6.4. servers. We also had a chunk error which caused like 4-5 crashes over a week span but has been fixed.
