Minecraft Name: Volutional Forum Name: Volutional What do you think are the top five things, that are most important in an application and why? I think that these are all equally important to a successful App. First of all, I think that layout is important for both the applicant and the observer, because it will be organised and easier to read, and develop upon. If the layout is pristine then the application itself is expected to be also. however this would only gain around 10% of the overall result. - Second, it needs to be clear they have read the lore, and can incorporate their character inside the lore. This makes their experience richer and will tell the observer that they have understood the lore. If they understand the Lore to it's full, they will add things such as "He/she doesn't believe in Iblees, or Aeriel isn't for him". Plus, they would also know that they cannot kill mercilessly because in the original thread, it states that players must have a Villain Application to commit acts of villainary. - Third, I know that they will need to have read and understood the rules, the Favourite Law, and Least Favourite Law questions will help the observer see this. If they haven't they will be swayed to break the rules, and will cause some trouble in the future, which is not what Lord Of The Craft needs. As the ban reports we gain is steady at the moment, they usually begin at the Application Team, and if they let one bad apple through, it will affect the bunch, and LoC will get more griefers, metagamers... Which leads on to my next reason for Law, meta gaming and power gaming need to be understood, and they must know about these rules. - Forth, I think that the question "What do you expect" plays an important role in the application itself, as it tells the observer why they want to be on LoC, and if it says anything similar to; "Lots of combat, shouting and action", then it may weigh the app down. If they expect a really good PvP server, they are wrong, but this wouldn't effect the overall outcome as much as say, the Law. - Finally, Grammar, this will be decided on two factors, Where they are from and how their grammar is in general. For instance, if somebody is from Latvia, and they have "I see a video about Lord of Craft and I enjoy it", they you can see why their grammar is how it is, but excessive mistakes are not tolerated. It works both ways, If an Englishman has grammar like that, it will weigh down heavily on their app. - Thanks for reading this, I understand that the app team is packed at the moment, but I really would like the chance to have this job. - Ps.
