RP Name: Dago_The_Hunter MC Name: Volutional Race: Southeron Qualifications: Been a guard at various forts in the wilds, and also been a self sufficient Hunter so I can look after myself. I know how these Festivals run, one entry, many guards, many people. ((Played the server since the 23rd of July, if that helps)) Other Info: I'd be honoured to attend as a guard of DunFest as then I could meet and greet far more people, I am experienced with social interaction and have a good photographic memory, never mind that notepad I keep with me, so anybody who pays shall be remembered by myself and my eyes. ((If you can PM me, if it's too must hassle I will try to look back upon this post.))

We apologize for the downtime.

Thanks Ariana :D It's a nice reassurance to know it's not my stupid computer playing up again... -
You seem to forget, Dawn has ruled before, therefore knows what she is doing.
-
You have my bow once more, as King Perea did that dreadful night.

Edmund in my opinion wasn't the right monarch for the crown, we've all at least thought this once before, or else we are foolish.

Support the true bloodline to the throne!

Oren needs to forget it's military ways, or at least focus on something more pure. If Oren was to become a farming nation, it would be perfect to have Aegis' best Bakery at it's monarchy. I would also like a monarch of whom I can pronounce the name of. -
Oren Milt taking over for the time being
Volutional replied to GrimBeard's topic in Aegis Roleplay Archive
I am going to have to disagree with this decision, the Oren Guard haven't the power to lead, not even for a temporary state. -
Dawn at least knows right from wrong, unlike most Monarchs we're had, and she has witnessed Al Khazar at it's best and worst.

OOC: All these events sound lovely, but we all have lives too! I'd prefer if little or no events were on Christmas Day. Mind I DO think Hallowe'en events are needed, it'd be such a good atmosphere for Roleplay, aspecially for me as creepy people turn up at my door expecting sweets when all they really get are eggs landing on their heads, unless they are like kids.

Vote For Your Favorite Project To Be Built
Volutional replied to Dwarf_Link's topic in Aegis Roleplay Archive
I was drawn between a Capital and a Hospital, though the Hospital wouldn't be used because people just nip to Dawn's Bakery for bread. -
I must say that the Elves have the right idea. A council of us Humans should be made, the most logical thinkers of our Nation united as one, to provide a more fluent political state.

I'd like to congratulate those who had completed this noble victory, yet give my commiserations to those who passed before the end...

Thanks Availer, and admins, this server is pretty much my Gaming life. If it wasn't for IRL I would live on this xD

The customer's area will consist of usable crafting tables (I think) and enough room for 3-4 customers at a time. A sign on the outside will state only 2 children at once allowed inside ((to add some realism, although children won't usually go into a Hunter's Shop)). I personally gather the pork and steaks, along with leather and perhaps chicken, whilst I may pay for lumberjacks to gather wood and other stock for me. V - Information about the stock The stock is purely Hunted humanely, and the animals suffer minimal pain as possible. The meat is thoroughly cleaned in order to prevent poison, or virus. The Tale Of Tyreal Tyreal arrived in Aegis, during a bleak winter. And by arrived, it is meant, born. Tyreal, being male, is a tale man of 6.5 ft high, which means he towers over many a' person. Tyreal was a young man once, blinded by stupidity, and foiled by magic. Many travellers may have noticed his forgotten tower, of which he studied most of his life, this was his only area of sentience and importance. He now lives there, without the know-how to survive properly in the Wild. Tyreal believes himself to be different, because ever since he could remember he heard things, obviously things that others couldn't. Voices if you will. These voices speak in strange languages unknown to anybody Tyreal would tell. But sometimes, the voices make visual contact, this be on the odd occasion. They would speak now in English, and in a understandable context. The Voices would tell Tyreal of their world, and of what is shrouding them, and of their ancient languages. But Tyreal often questions whether or not he is mental deficient, or if what he hears and sees is the truth. Tyreal also believes he has the ability of knowing people, by looks, actions and speach. He believes he is the perfect Psychologist, as he understand people's pain and loss, even though he has had none since his beginnings. Now at the age of 100, it seems Tyreal IS different, as he hasn't aged too considerably. Whether this is Witchcraft or perhaps the voices, he has no clues. Tyreal is clothed in Black Robes, with beige trims, and some grey sections. Not to be mistaken for any other Evil in Aegis, as he speak with an open heart and mind. -Written by a friend of Tyreal

That's exactly why Kal Urguan hasn't fallen. You should make a safe haven for people of Aegis, far away from the keep, my Caravan in the North got burnt and pillaged, it's Undead territory they won't be forgiving.

Redone the whole thread, hopefully more appealing and informational.

The Guildhouse is in the Wilds, a great distance from central Aegis, though I may be able to guide you to it, I'd like to finish it first. I will eventually, once I get some and more members.
-
It would be a fantastic opportunity to gain a friend and ally. I'd like to except. The Guild would be happy to aid in excavations. Recruitment has not started of yet as I am still in the building process of the Guildhouse itself, I accept. -Elder Guildmaster Arfur

The Guild Of Monks Now Open To Apprentices Introduction The Guild Of Monks is a group of peaceful Monks, who live in the far reaches of Aegis. The Monks spend their time either learning their desired skill, being tutored in that skill, or doing Monk duties. Monk Duties are what each and every Guild Monk must perform during their lives, the amount is decided by their Tutor. Monk Duties consist of: -Land preservation, planting Saplings and / or creating reservoirs. -Rebuilding the land, covering old and abandoned ruins with earth, replanting strange floating trees. -Gathering for the guild, gathering wood and such for the Guild Shop. Monks are allowed any amount of breaks, which they can depart their Robes and journey elsewhere. This is optional. Stages of Apprenticeship An Apprentice is a Student of The Guild, They learn the basics of nature, and The Way Of The Monk. There are five stages of Apprenticeship, which can be earned optionally by completing trials. Each stage is able to do what it's predecessor could. The Stages Are: Novice Apprentice, Can wear the Guild Robes, and is part of the learning scheme. Apprentice, Is given the rites of a Monk, must commit to Monk Duties. <Skillname> Student, Is now studying the <skillname> skill, and will be relieved of Monk Duties, during training. Master Apprentice, Is now at their peak, can recruit for the Guild, Mentor and Tutor others. Teacher, Is now an Initial Teacher, can teaches classes and hold seminars. Ranks The ranks are as follows, Lowest to Highest: Apprentice, Mentioned above, excluding Teacher. Teacher, Mentioned above. Warrior Monk, Trained in some sort of combat, and is a fighter. Guild Commandant, Controls the rules and punishments. Guild Guard, Trained in minor combat, the Guards manages the Guild's Meditation area, where people enter. Guildmaster, Masters over all previous ranks, controls everything about them. Elder-Guildmaster, Is the oldest, and perhaps the wisest of the Guild, makes the rules, the code, and The Way Of The Monk. Seers, The fore-sight of the Guild, can determine tactical battle plans and possible Guild Teachings. The Guild Of Monks are not purely a religious group, though some may follow different beliefs or Entities, They are a Guild of which life is aloud to flow through. The Monks create life, whether by farming, or by other means. A Monk is expected to be robed in public, unless on a break. Monks may break at any time, as life needs only voluntary aid. Life can sustain itself, but eventually the trees shall fade, and mountains crumble. The Monks are to aid the preservation of Life and even the purity of the World.Monks never use means of violence, and will rather perish than hurt any living being. As The Monks value Life greatly, they have to be over the age of 40 to become a valued member.Monks will avoid conflict, even if it is at their doorstep. Monks can be called cowards, but they know it is the best option.Monks have always Lived in harmony, and only one faction can destroy their peace and serenity. The Undead.Although attempts have been made to solve a common hatred between Living and Dead, it has never been achieved. The Monks know that they will either fall be their Black Hand, or reign as the Givers of Life. Only Combative Monks May Harm others* Guild Robes: The Guild's Robes are similar, and don't change through ranks. There is hooded and un-hooded versions. The Guild colours are Magnolia, and Light Blue. Obviously the face is changeable. Picture of the skin: Allies: Aegis Archaeologists Enemies: Unavailable Application For Recruitment: (Post On This Thread) In Game Name: Character's Current Name: Character's Age: Short Biography, Perhaps a Paragraph Or So: Which Rank Suits You, Give a Reason: What Race Is Your Character: Have You Been Banned Before In LoC: If so, Why: Lies are obvious. - Elder Guildmaster Arfur News: *You Read In A Book* New Safety Hovels, Will be spread throughout Aegis, small 5x5 Rooms with a bed, Crafting Table, and light. Deleted Post, New Character. Again :D

In my opinion, you should take the resources from Winterfell, and Alistion, then create a brand new fortress in the style of a refuge, therefore the people of Aegis can be safe. I'd be happy to live inside this fort and help hand out resources in event of battle. OOC: Maybe a Helm's Deep style base, with underground tunnels where the non-combatants can hold off, and a very long minecart track to get away from the action. Think of the RP! That would be great!
