  1. Explain virgin's blo-, oh, yeah. Well what about normal WATER HUH? EXPLAIN THAT!
  2. Can an FM/GM get rid of this:

    1. JEEGK

      JEEGK

      There isnt anything there?

  3. Who says? Alchemy is science, science knows no bounds. Like how magic is used to fry people you dislike but people do shows for money. There really is no reason why Alchemy is not meant to do something like this.
  4. Then something like this could break the mold. This or either zombie potion where you could make people do what you want instead of a truth serum kind of thing here.
  5. Then do something about the control then. Magic and villainy are structured to a degree, so why can't this? Is there no effort? And Alchemy can do such if you want it to. Having RP like that can be fun. Magic can do it to a degree, so why can't this?
  6. To be honest, not everyone wants to be a spell flinger or get one, and mages could work on their own agendas too, so in the end they aren't reliable either in an RPG sense. Also Jax, Alchemy could be used for something like this, albeit not using the ingredients since everyone here has some idea on those pieces of lore. Alchemy is a form of science that uses equations and regents. If an Alchemist can alter someone in a way that they heal their wounds, akin to a Health potion, and harden their skin, aka. a Stone Skin potion, what makes it so hard to believe that nothing can affect the mind? A potion that affects your blood cells and harden your skin in such a fast manner that they activate instantly is more far fetched than a potion that can alter a brain's hormones or whatever goes on up there. A potion that can literally control someone is more scientific and more closely related than a potion that can harden your skin to where when a knife cuts you all it leaves is a paper cut. This server is a fantasy server, a server where we have people who can fling spells from their fingers tips, drink potions that can let you see in the dark, and fight orcs who killed and ate your parents. You should be able to make a potion that can literally mind control someone and it should be accepted, albeit, with proper lore and ingredients and how to make it. If someone can addicted to beer, coffee, shakes, or whatever, it deals with your brain because of dopamine. An Alchemist could literally make someone a zombie if they wanted to, so what makes it so that a truth serum is so far off? Yes, it requires both people to RP it, and yes, it may not always work, but the question is, why not? Why can't we have this? Simply because the OP does not understand the regents? Bah! Someone else who better understands the plant lore could make it, hell, probably even make new plants that would help in this area too. Not everyone wants to go to or be a mage, sometimes people want to be a mad scientist, and alchemy could do that if you let it. Let this idea into your hearts, and improve upon what this man has said. An idea like this can be powergamed, but so can magic as well and any other function too, but there is a system for that, and it's called blacklists. If you think someone is powergaming, report it after talking with the person you think is powergaming. Conversation is key.
  7. Free Pito or I will call Trump.

    1. Swannick

      Swannick

ask him for a small loan of a million dollars

  8. If you can science The Force in Star Wars, you can science anything.
  9. Break the mold Keeeeeeeme! Or at least stuff to chronicle your RP on LoTC, I mean, that doesn't take much thought and it doesnt have to be consistent. Or just use stick figures.
  10. From what I heard from a few friends that are starting to get into it, it's mainly the website stuff that is hard. I'm sure if you get past that, and advertise it a bit, I am sure you'd have like, tons of money. Commissions and comics Keeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeme. This is the world you chose.
  11. Have you ever thought of doing web comics Keeeeeeeeme? It can net you some more money on the side and from what I heard is quite fun.
  12. DoA Extreme 3 GOTY.

  13. Aspects. Arik has said countless times in the thread too that Cernunnos was related to the 'wrath' in nature. That's step one. Step two is literally gather you bundle of Druids, careful though, since too many could have an effect you may not want or too less and you'd literally just have people constipated in trying to summon this drizzle of rain! If you want to add in the idea of sacrificial regents, then that would be an optional step 1.5 and how they will affect your specific summoning. There really isn't nothing else. No PVP. No major floods of disaster. Maybe a fire out of control if a thunderbolt leaks from somewhere within your rain summoning. The amount of people and location could be a factor. If it doesn't work at first, Aspects don't like it! If it does work and it does get out of control, Aspects will be mad! Maybe they take the power away for a bit and say no to their followers! I would make this cohesive in writing to make it look like actual lore, but at this point im sure people are sick and tired of walls of text on how people can't read or just answers to repeated questions.
  14. Neat. That seems cool to add too if they want it to have a little more affect other than just simply raining. Like, a certain beast sacrificed could affect the weather. Sacrificing a bear during a rainstorm could make it seem heavier. Sacrificing a deer for rain would make it more of a serene, rainbowy fall. Would make for cool 'regents' so to speak.
  15. You still can't read. Literally. Also, the whole idea of 'perfect lore' makes me laugh. A sensible chuckle really. Everyone now is just repeating what has already been said on the pages before. Feedback has been taken too. This is why gender bending is sin.
  16. I swear, I wonder how some people on these forums can type and yet they can't READ. LOOK. LOOK WITH YOUR SPECIAL EYES. 5 pages of people talking on how this fits and how it's ALREADY A THING and just needs to be looked at bit before going back in. At least most of the Druids don't powergame, jesus christ. I'm not here to even debate on the topic anymore, I am having more fun responding to all of you people. Truly making my day at 3:30 in the morning. No one messes with Karma's homies. Got you Ouity home slice.
  17. Sometimes I swear with you PEOPLE. Why does everything have to be compared to using **** in combat? Literally, no one RP combats anymore for fucks sake. PVP Default 4 Life Magic isn't balanced. PVP isn't balanced. Literally find another magic to compare this too where the other said magic can't literally start an apocalypse if the user so chooses. "Oh look, WEEDS. Welp, we're all done. Time to pack our bags and hit the seas lads, this is how we transition to 5.0. Druids ruined us all."
  18. But this is manipulating plant and flora though. This is literally a gathering of top tier druids just to help people dog, like, make it drizzle up in this hizzle, and even getting it hot up in here to dry damp places, just like Ouity's tears right now because you are all triggering him with the same remarks that he has already answered, if not to the best of his ability here. Also, Shamans are pretty much more OP than Druids bro, so lets start comparing the two since everyone is. Where a Druid can't control the actual water released from the sad clouds they can barely call upon, a whole nation of Shamans could create a ******* tidal wave if they wanted and wash away everything or even start a small fire and burn everything to a damn crisp. Druids? They just give Oxygen, you know, the lore that was just approved. They also mate when in animal form to be closer to nature and foster their bear cub hybrids. Pretty sure Shamans could summon elementals too that could literally destroy a Treant if they wanted to.
  19. Actually, relating to that obvious yoke, I think the way you guys should set up the summoning circle, square, trial, etc. would be in that certain weather's element. For example, to summon your drizzle, you guys stand in a pool to get the feeling of it and to help better focus. For a lightning bolt, you guys could get to a mountain, close enough to the clouds, and do your thang. For a drought, literally sit next to something as hot as you want the drought. So yeah, including the people, you should get a location that fits what you need instead of sitting in your grove. Travel.
  20. They use the old druid's pool, aka. Petyr the Salmon-Who-Made-Me-Find-A-Fish-For-An-Hour Druid.
