  1. *A note is delivered by raven* Where to begin? I return from the most far north to find the capital in ruins and now I have wandered so far and am still confused I gave up sight for knowledge for enlightenment but now I do not know even if this that I right is legible but I am here old and grey but I maintain knowledge even if know I have lost the strength to swing a pick my beliefs may be different but I will not ignore my heritage. So here I am to serve, to lead, to teach. -Elder Thane, Nosor Bagrimsson Silverfinger. *scrawled at the bottom is another message* Should I have bothered writing the titles they are true but they are trappings of life..I have missed to much been gone to long I wish to see you soon.

I Nosor Son of Bagrim, Thane of the Silverfingers and master miner do hereby reject all apprenticeships and resign from all membership of my guilds. I also pass down my Thaneship to Smithson Silverfinger on his return. For those who wish to know why I depart I will say this I am no longer sure of mine self so I am to return to my roots in the far west where I hope that I will mind reassurance and divine enlightenment I will however even on achieving these things not return but I will occassionly send translations and Lore via messengers. I also do not ask anything of anyone of you part from this tell those it concerns of my departure.

  11. The Silverfingers The history of the Silverfingers starts in the late 500s when Haggar Silverfinger created it and split from the Starbreakers. He and his kin then travelled west for nine days fearing retribution from the Starbreakers, when they found that they were not being hunted they decided to settle on the fringes of the forest dwarf town of Kal’Faro. They were able to make a name for themselves through their mining prowess and soon became rich and prosperous, however they were not without problems as Haggar was getting old and was lacking an heir therefore he finally gave in to his clan mates suggestions to adopt and so he adopted a forest dwarf by the name of Hashut and spent his final hundred years tutoring him in the ways of politics, economics and mining so that he would, when the time came, be capable to run the clan. After Haggar’s death Hashut was quick to assert respect for him in the clan and Kal’Faro through his eloquent speaking and political understanding and to also make the clan even greater than Haggar could ever have done, he made Kal’Faro his clan’s town. Unlike the clans Kal’Faro was democratic and elected its rulers not through blood but votes, Hashut’s political ability made him, in the villager’s opinion, a great candidate and it became a sure win once he convinced the elders to let his clansmen vote. With the town under his control Hashut set about Improving it, he opened mines, expanded the market district and ordered construction to begin on a castle and other fortifications *A scrap of paper lays on the floor just outside Nosors door it is a partial translation from an old book*
  12. I 'ave two questions where will this money go and also do we have to pay it in minas or by service and materials?
  13. Going to give up on VA for a while and develop a religious fanatic.

  14. 1)MC Name & RP Name: trotski24, Elder_Nosor_Silverfinger 2)Chosen Patron: Aeriel 3)Reason For Joining (do not have the reason be to become Ascended): Nosor became heavily religious after joining the UAC and although he has had doubts recent events have renewed his faith he is also in need of a place or group in which he can study as so far he has only have had access to a dozen or so books. Also He wishes to spread his faith and believes becoming a cleric will give him power to do so. 4)Race: Dwarf 5)Flaws in Your Character: Nosor is quick to rise to insults and has some strange habits as well as a certain lust for power. 6) How long have you been on the server: Since August 4th 2011 Scenario Questions-Answer how you would react to each situation. 7) You notice an Apprentice Shade harassing a lowly citizen. [shades Are Evil Mages]: Nosor, who is weak in the ways of fighting would try his best not to approach the shade he would throw rocks and fire arrows whilst calling for the guards and shouting of how Aeriel will strike the shade down for his evils. 8) You see a small child shivering in the snow. Nosor crouches and ask the child if it has any parents the child shakes its head, Nosor offers his hand and places the child on his shoulders and wraps him in his cloak he then takes him to the nearest inn, he rents a room and buys food for the child and then presses a purse of coins into the child's hand. 'Take care'. 9) You are walking down the road when a bandit stops you and threatens to kill you if you don't give him all your money and valuables. Nosor stares at the bandit sadly and in pity, he grips his purse and places it in the bandits hand he then grabs the bandits wrist with one hand and his shoulder with the and tucks his knee behind the bandits knee brings the bandits arm up to his opposite shoulder and forces him to the floor.Kneeling upon the bandits back Nosor throws away the bandits sword and places his own purse back into his pocket, he then begins to preach to the bandit and tells him of all the posters advertising jobs he saw on the road, releasing him Nosor would stun him with a punch to the kidneys to stun him in case the bandit still wished him harm and walk on. Of course if this did not work he would be dead. 10) As you walk through the local market place a person begins to yell that Aeriel and the other patrons are weak and cruel and claims that joining Iblees is the only way to survive. 'Ha! have you seen the tenets of Iblees? have you!? They speak of how Iblees will purge the world how he will destroy the societies of our Kingdoms and make the world as the nether! He corrupts whereas so many of his minions have been purged by priest with gifts from Aeriel and the Ascended! Do not preach of what you do not know fool! Lest I strike ye!' Turning to the rest of the crowd 'People do not listen to this rat's lies and profanities for he blasphemies for truly our only hope for enlightenment and blessing lies with the God and the servants of God' 11) A person walks up and asks you, "Why does God allow suffering to continue?" ' Do not lose faith for nothing is withut reason god does such things to test us, to make sure that we do not grow feeble or weak for God can not protect us from all evil and if he did many would soon forget the evil he protects us from so he does not do this he helps silently and unseen the more you believe in him the more you will see the small blessings God bestows upon us every day.' Added detail.
  15. Waiting for the new topic. Thought I would post to say that I'm still wanting to join.

  20. 1)MC Name & RP Name: trotski24, Elder_Nosor_Silverfinger 2)Chosen Patron: Aeriel 3)Reason For Joining (do not have the reason be to become Ascended): Nosor wishes to have some order or group in which he can spend more time mediating and studying as well as a place in which he can unearth the secrets of life. 4)Race: Dwarf 5)Flaws in Your Character: Nosor can not stand insults and he also wishes to gain power and position in his races government. 6) How long have you been on the server: Since august 2011 Scenario Questions-Answer how you would react to each situation. 7) You notice an Apprentice Shade harassing a lowly citizen. [shades Are Evil Mages]: Nosor who is weak in the ways of fighting would either ask the guards for help or try to persuade the shade to leave the citizen be. 8) You see a small child shivering in the snow. Nosor would take the child t the nearest inn. 9) You are walking down the road when a bandit stops you and threatens to kill you if you don't give him all your money and valuables. Nosor would give the bandit the little money he had and be on his way maybe after trying to persuade the bandit to turn away from his sinning ways. 10) As you walk through the local market place a person begins to yell that Aeriel and the other patrons are weak and cruel and claims that joining Iblees is the only way to survive. Nosor walks over to the person and strikes him and drags him to the local church to have him confess his sins and purge his evils. 11) A person walks up and asks you, "Why does God allow suffering to continue?" Nosor answers 'To test us to make sure we do not live in comfort that makes us grow feeble when we may be attacked by evils beyond God's control and to make us think.' Do not shut down this guild.
  21. As people have said before the number of 'crazy people' should be kept limited and villians should be based on Rp not PVP.
  22. I hate having a cold.

  23. I have managed to retrieve a large quantity of the ores but I finally gave up because that mine and the magma are a death trap! I hope Arbrek is not having the same trouble in the mines of the Holm. Despite my several brushes with death though I have managed to find a good amount of ore and have finally returned to Kal'Dwain once again! My books and notes as well as my sugar are as I left them and also much has been added to the city although I think I will have to talk to Skippy about that damn lava!
  24. I have managed to get part way out of the mines but have fund myself in a cave where the only exit I can see is blocked by both magma and a slime! Again it seems I will have to mine my way out. Magma it seems truly hates me ,if such a thing can hate, as whilst mining I broke through a block and was nearly consumed by it and so maybe I think my life may not be as drawn out as I have estimated. I have found the source of the magma, it seems that Kal'Dwain has imported a large quantity of the liquid which NEARlY killed me! It would have been nice of them to warn me but never mind all the ores that are hidden by the lava are mine now.
