No one ever said being good was the easy path, and Bethesda is one to live by that philosophy. Just try playing Fallout 3 as a good guy.

That's the ONLY way I played Fallout 3, because I kinda used to have the irrational fear that being an arse in video games would get me into hell just like being an arse in real life.
