    1 Year AMA

Reckon you'll still be here in a couple more years?
  2. Within said house, in a comfortable chair just outside said lounge, sits a certain quite old, quite bearded former maheral, now retiree, sipping from a chalice. The Gazette resting in his lap, a reasonably sized python curled up at his feet, he responds. "Wasn't me."
  3. The oldest of Elves sits in his newly excavated home office. Its shelves are still sleek, yet its floorboards already dusty. The occasional harumph escapes his face as he contemplates the wording of his opening speech. "It shall certainly be one to remember."
  4. I pretty much only use it to go to resource island.
  5. "Asul lente karin'ento." Muses the Maheral, as he drops the anchor of his copper-clad trireme on the coast. "A new age dawns once more, and we are still here. Another step in our endless pursuit of progress." Memories of a long-past Haelun'or, sheltered underground beneath a mountainrange in Anthos flicker through his mind. "At least it's somewhat less cramped this time."
  6. One ship over, an ancient bearded 'Aheral leans back in his chair as he gleefully unfolds the latest Gazette to read with his morning tea. A few chuckles and intrigued "hrmm"s later, he frowns and slams the paper down on the table. "Thirteen hundred years, and they still can't ever get my name right! Ullran." He then goes to take a nap and prompty forgets about the heinous infraction.
  7. Haelun'or outlasts. Haelun'or endures. It's been a part of the server since 2.0, as has the Hnor community. So yeah, +1
  8. RIP Big man

  9. The most ancient of High Elves hears word of the Emperor's exodus. He takes a deep breath, then sighs. Be it relief or disappointment, even he himself was unsure. "And so it goes. Humans come, and go. As much devestation as this one was able to unleash upon this realm, I must commend him on one thing. For as forgettable most humans are to one who has lived for over a millennium, one thing can be certain: Hadrian, you shall be remembered."

  11. Absolutely peak, a fundamental magic in any fantasy environment. It's absurd it's been gone this long already. Excellent work by all authors putting it into the new format. +1

    The Veilward

"Excellent." An ancient mage remarks, before making his way up the hillside, the structure already towering over him.
  13. "A colleague in dire times, one is thankful he stepped up. Not by want, but by necessity. Okarir'Maehr once more, and one I trust to fulfill that duty I held myself so long ago." The Maheral solemnly stated, resting in his chair in a wayward spire. "Yet it is not a time to reminisce; rather we shall continue to look toward the future. Wynasul, may our collaboration be the foundation that restores elCihi'Thilln once more. Asul lente karin'ento."
  14. Merry Christmas folks!

  15. Guess it was about damn time I upgraded after being Gold VIP for like 12 years
  16. Hohkmat had 10 obelisks, I was literally the guy in charge of scheduling the rituals. But I do agree doing the rituals, esp that often, isn't exactly fun RP. I was just meming with the 3 artificer thing btw. 1 per week is for sure fine
  17. Agree with this one. Imagine though, 3 artificers living in a city managing to pump out 20 obelisks in their settlement in a week.
  18. All golems and voidal atronachs are incels. Change my mind.

Technically we are all in cells. Our spirits trapped by some worldly coil. These cages we find ourselves bound to.

  19. The Wayward Branch Issued by the MAHERAL 3rd of The Amber Cold, 261 S.A. Educate these Mali’Aheral the correct way. The only way. -Malaurir Lelien Lazul To friends, colleagues, allies, but most importantly to a confused prince: I write this missive to restore your grasp on reality. It warms our heart that you vow to restore the city of Siraminde. Its story is far from over, and to let a few puddles and some scorched marble sign its fate would be an injustice to its architects. Know, however, that it is no longer elHaelun’or. For Haelun’or is not a place, but a people. A people that those who would grant you this land attempted to exterminate, be it children or elderly. A people that now roam the continent, be it bare or disguised. A culture that the Valah would like to see eradicated, now spreading to more ears than ever before as Mali’Aheral mingle with any who would bless us with their hospitality. As such, elHaelun’or will find its place again, as it has done so many times before. Thus, Autumn Prince, Lord, Tir’sair, we wish you the best of luck. But ruler of Haelun’or, you are not. -S
  20. A moustachioed elf wades through the flooded streets, his boots filled to the brim, his brow furled. Allthewhile he mumbles. "This is it? We could have all just had a drink in t'e Council Chambers and prob'ly noticed nun' of this 'appening? Sheesh. A lil' tarnished marble, some burned bushes, we could have this place cleaned up wit'in an Elven Day!" As Tahorran reaches the Sythaerin manor, he chuckles. "At least Gramps will be delighted to know t'e fam'ly banners could nae care less about a lil' light toastin'. "
  21. "Maehr'sae Hiylun'ehya. Iheiuhii narne narneyem'ehya." An old elf spoke resolutely.
  22. "Asul lente karinto. Iheiuhii narne narneyem'ehya." Sighed the Maheral.
