He is nothing out of the ordinary when wielding his favoured weapon, an axe, however what he lacks in Axe Mastery he makes up for in Unarmed combat, his strength ensuring that he becomes a formidable foe without the use of weapons. As well as his physical strength Zau is extremely headstrong, which proves to be one of his greatest strengths and weaknesses. Appearance (age, SUBRACE, gender): Zau is a tall Tigrasi male, which reflects throughout his muscular body as his features are slightly elongated, but not freakishly so. Zau also keeps himself extremely clean as he believes the ability to gain a Metz’al lies with his appearance and social ranking. Zau also feels his appearance is important to progressing in society, as a filthy beggar would have no chance of becoming nobility. Zau also has bright blue eyes which he feels reflects his true nature, to do good for his people. Personality: Zau is overly headstrong, trying to prove himself right in every situation he finds himself in which, can be just as much of a curse than a blessing. Because this is such a rarely appreciated trait Zau is more feared than revered as his inability to back down tends to scare off others. Zau is also extremely emotionally driven, taking every criticism to heart. His inability to control or repress his emotions often leads him to trouble, betraying those of good will to follow his own longing to fulfill his lustful desires. Please include a short bio of your character's life: Zau didn’t have an unordinary start to his life, raised by his two parents.. As a kitten Zau loved being in the company of others, always out playing with the other kittens. He continued to have an extremely happy, fulfilling life up until the day he turned 15. His birthday started well, he received a small ceremonial dagger from his father. The dagger was given to Zau’s father on his 15th birthday and then his father before him. Zau promised his father that he would kill his future prey with this blade and keep the family tradition of doing so. Zau’s 15th birthday had been his best yet, until the clock rang out, signalling that the sixteenth hour had arrived. Seconds later there was a loud knocking on the door of Zau’s house. Zau’s father went to the front door, slowly opening it. Upon peering through the opening in the door, Zau’s father quickly slammed it and began running towards the rear entrance to the house. However, as Zau’s father did so the front door was barged open. Two huge Tigrasi leapt through the house, landing on top of Zou’s father, pinning him down. Zou was shocked at the sudden intrusion, his dagger slipping from his hand to the ground. “Yuh ahre unda’ aresst forr tha’ murda’ of ah hholy Osscelot!” boomed one of the Tigrasi as they hauled Zau’s father off down the street. That was the last time Zau saw his father, apart from the lock of fur and one of his canine teeth that came with the notice of his execution.With the notice of his death also came the reasoning. Zou’s father had killed an Ocelot, skinned it for it’s pelt and sold it to an ‘ape’. Zou couldn’t believe what his father had done and the whole situation caused Zau to become withdrew from the world as he felt everyone judged him from his father's crimes. After the death of his father Zou’s mother became strange, as if she was a mere shattered version of her former self. Zou became slightly depressed at his mothers state, and could bare it no more. He decided he would leave home and follow a childhood dream, of becoming a renown hunter. The only trinkets that he took with him were his families dagger and his fathers tooth chained around his neck with the lock of hair, also belonging to his father covering the small holes where the chain entered the tooth. Armed with the hungering of greatness, Zou set out into the world to try and prove himself to his own kin by hunting the greatest beasts and apes that reside in Asulon, all whilst trying to regain his families once good name... This is where the tale of Zauthuurza begins. Character's ambitions: To restore his family’s honour, hunt the greatest prey in asulon and become a respected member of the Kha’ community. ---Situational Rp Questions--- 1. As you travel through the Karakatuan jungle, you spot a human trespassing on your nation's lands. He approaches you, obviously distressed, and asks for any food, water, or shelter that you can provide, then tells you that he has been lost in the area for days without any proper supplies. How do you react?: “P..Please, Help me!” croaked the human, clearly suffering from malnutrition and dehydration. Zau gave a loud chuckle at the weak human requiring his help. “Yuh wun’ ma’ help, ape? Hohohoho” Zau lunged forwards with both arms, letting out a huge roar, trying to get the Human to stagger back. The human let out a scream and turned, attempting to run. The human was standing a few feet away from a pit full of thick mood and in his quick attempt to escape, the human didn’t have time to successfully stop. He fell face first into the muddy pit and began wriggling around trying to get out. Zau let out a deep chuckle and continued onwards, kicking more mud toward the human as he departed. 2. As you romp through the lands of the "apes", you come across a tavern. Inside this tavern, a Dwarf notices you and starts gawking at you, then begins to speak. "Oi! I gots a bowl of cream for you, Kitty! Ha! I'd bet you would make a nice throw rug, wouldn't ya, ya mangy furball?!" He continues act generally as racist as possible. What do you do?: Zau’s ears pricked up as he turned to face the dwarf, the sudden change in light causing his eyes to turn into the slits which, ironically mirrored his mood. Zau sprinted forward, hissing violently at the Dwarf as he did so. Zau lept forward, landing on the dwarf “CALL MEE FURRBALL ONSCE MHOR!” screamed Zau. The dwarf just lay under Zau, cowering with his eyes closed. “Patheetik ape” Zau muttered as he raised his right paw into the air, his claws extending “Rememba dis, uss Kha rul’ yu apess!” Zau brought down his claws across the dwarfs face, scratching him. Zau stood up and walked out of the tavern 3. One of your fellow Kharajyr and a close friend of yours comes to your dwelling in the middle of the night and begins to pound on your door. After you let him in, he confesses to killing another Kharajyr over a slice of cake. What do you do in response? Zau let out a huge sigh,his emotions conflicting with common sense. “Why yu do eet?” said Zau, his eyes closed and his face turned away from his friend. Before his friend could respond Zau said hastily “Yu eeitheer turrn yourr self een ohr, yu leeav myy hom’. Sa’Vi, olld frieend” Zau then stood up and walked to the kitchen, letting his friend walk out the door and make his own decision. After his departure, Zau retired to his bed, staring blankly at the ceiling with a mixture of rage and sorrow in his eyes.
