What can you do to help new players: Enlighten them on tips/tricks with Nexus, that's what i'm most proficient at. There's very few things with Nexus that i do not know. From both help chat and various persona messages i've noticed that most new players and even some older ones are confused about more than few things in Nexus, might as well go a bit further than simply keep to help chat and answering PM's.

 

How much time can you set for helping new players: I'm bored most of the time. so quite a lot, as long as i'm not at work.

 

How Active can you be on the New Player Discord: Several hours a day. (Unless if i'm out drinking with friends, and no, you do not want to see me 'attempting' to try helping people while tipsy or worse)

How much time can you set for helping new players: Literally any time I'm online they can message me and I'll respond as quick as I can.

Summarise the Lore of this magic(s):

Magic granted by the Archaengul; Aeriel, granted to her agents as they go through a ritual that involves them temporarily dying. After which, they are judged by Aeriel to see if they are deemed worthy to aid her in her cause. Should they be deemed worthy, their souls are exposed to an Aerielian flame which forms a symbiotic relationship, protecting their soul, and in return, acting as fuel to draw upon for their powers. They choose upon connection if their flame is of Ruin or Rapture, each one having a different effect against the corrupted creatures they fight. They also have access to soul fire infusion, allowing them to make enchanted items and soul fire braziers; braziers that radiate soul fire, preventing corruption and dark beings from being raised in the area. However being a Ascended means that you must follow the covenants of Aeriel, soulfire cannot harm non-corrupted beings and you are unable to heal fatal wounds without committing suicide.

Write up a lesson that your character would give to a student:

Gathering to the Former Soldier of Haense, a newly connected Ascended has returned from their mission to prove themselves and prove their loyalty to the cause. They give a formal salute as Volkhard is looking out into the wilds. "You have found success zen, my friend?" Volkhard says as he turns to his newly connected brother, Afterwards, he motioned for the Ascended to follow him through the wilds of Haense. Casually resting his Zweihander on his plated shoulder as they traveled through the woods of Haense. Finally arriving at a small campsite, that has been lived in for quite some time. The campfire still burning defiantly against the winter's cold. Volkhard sits down near the log, offering a seat to his recruit. "Today I vill teach you ze power of Aeriel, her vill made manifest." They nod and responded "Soulfire?", upon which Volkhard would give a nod of confirmation "Ja...you see my friend, after your connection, your soul has been turned into a burning fire, a constant roaring pyre. Granting us varmth, and guidance in zese dark times."

Slowly Volkhard extends his hand, conjuring a burning orb of Vermillion colored flame, "Zis is a simple ember from our souls...deep inside you, you must focus and draw it out."  The Recruit stares at the flame, with a moment of awe as they think if they could do the same thing. They quickly begin to try to repeat his hand motions, staring at their palm. However barely an ember forms, and as they are left disappointed, they quickly falter and the flame dies. Volkhard simply shakes his head before speaking "You must become one vith your flame...", they give him an odd look and before they could retort, Volkhard would speak "You must find your focus, for some it is vith meditation, some it is ze heat of the moment, as for me...ven I vas learning how to control my flame, I vould hold a moment of prayer...now tell me, are you religious?". They would shake their head, in which Volkhard would respond again.

"Vell, if you are to become one of us, you must draw on faith, faith is vat grants us focus, vat keeps us going even ven ze vhole vorld is against us." Slowly Volkhard would pull out his Aurum Lorraine Cross, squeezing it softly before giving a soft kiss to it. "At ze bare minimum, you must have faith in yourself, faith in zat Aeriel; GOD's greatest of servants, is vith you." Slowly Volkhard would conjure his flame again, before giving a reassuring look to the recruit. "Now, close your eyes, and look deep in yourself, pull from ze fire...and imagine your hand as ze torch." Slowly the recruit would close his eyes and take a few deep breaths, extending their hand as they focus on their teacher's words. They would begin to conjure series of embers, that slowly forms a small flame. As they open their eyes and stare with awe at their flame, Volkhard would grin before he spoke "Good vork my friend! now I vant you to practice zat every day, practice until it is second nature. Zis power of ours is a gift, it is an extension of ourselves, vith it, you can see ze true nature of ze soul." They would nod and continue to practice, Volkhard would slowly stand up and look towards the woods "Tonight, I vill gather ze firevood, in ze following days, I vill be teaching you how to use zat fire against ze enemies of GOD's Children."

Well sadly my friend, your application has been deemed unacceptable by the standards of Lord of the Craft. However that doesn't mean you are doomed to a life unable to get in, you may reapply and will have a much higher chance of success if you fix the mistakes listed.

1) Wrong Format: You are not following the format for whitelist applications, make sure to follow the Format.

2) Backstory: There is no reference of the lore in your backstory, as well as the fact you cannot start with magic of any sort. Nor can you have knowledge on how to use magic. Also, your backstory is rather lacking and cliche, I recommend avoiding the whole 'I was abandoned by my parents and now I search for them' trope. 

3) Race: The picture you are using as a reference picture, is not acceptable for a Wood Elf, who have tan skin and hairs of dark red to brown or black. White is not an acceptable Wood Elf Hair Color. Your picture is more fitting of a High Elf than a Wood Elf

4)No Skin: This is a follow up to using the wrong format, you are missing a picture to your minecraft skin.

What can you do to help new players: I've always enjoyed helping people. Something deeply satisfying about helping someone with commands, or helping them practice their RP. And I wanna be able to do that more, since currently I rarely come across new players. I'd be happy to answer any question anyone has, and help them figure out what kind of RP they wanna get involved in.

 

How much time can you set for helping new players: A few hours every day, at the very least, depending on what needs done. Aslong as I'm online and not in the middle of something, I'll be around 99% of the time.

 

How Active can you be on the New Player Discord: Weekdays, I'm usually on from 5 PM EST to 10 PM EST, unless it's Wednesday, I work Wednesdays. The weekends, I'm on pretty much all day. And if I'm online, I'll probably be browsing the discord

Salutations Lord of the Crafters

Today Cordial and I have decided to use Discord Necromancy upon the remains of the New Player Discord.

The Grand Mission:

Our current goal is to help new blood get assimilated into this wonderful community of ours. What we App Slaves the Application Team does besides accepting good new players and denying Dark Elf Ninjas named Azrael Shadowheart, is to be the first people that the new players meet. We have to make a good expression on them and help them learn our systems and get situated in an RP community fitting for their character. Sadly we cannot do this alone, we need slaves friendly players full of experience and the desire to help new players with whatever questions they may have.

The Plan:

We plan on, first of all, putting more attention and focus on The New Player Discord, remove the inactive helpers and recruit new bright minds to actively help any new player that enters the Discord. When I first joined the server, the discord was active, people were having conversations, now it is a desolate wasteland with the occasional question and so thrown in there. This needs to change, hopefully with a push in the right direction. People will actually use it again.

How to Join?

So you wish to help? fantastic! that is already a good start, you will be a Slave under the tyrannical will of Dark Lord Vaynth helper in no time! The first step is to be part of the New Player Discord. You do not even need to talk! although it is recommended. So long as you are willing to talk via text and willing to help new players, you are good. Afterward, hang out in one of the channels, and spam me and or @Cordial with private msgs so we can interview you.
