I've been doing this for ages. Little bits of fishing string, big movements of your hand and lots of confidence. For whatever the reason, try emulating air magic. Its one of the easiest to pull off and people run in terror. A little bronze dish that you can shake can make the sound of thunder from another room. Also, A ghost that can teach magic? This should be fun.

Does shade magic count as one of your "Subtype" allowances, Or were you planning on learning a 3rd subtype? Perhaps a ghost that can teach can also learn in time.
