Could the name of the Halfling place in 3.0 be the same as an existing town in Middle Earth? I really do love such names as Oatbarton, Brockenborings, and Tuckborough... But we could probably come up with an original name that suits just as well. And I agree with the suggestion of making the Halfling place in 3.0 more spread out, with a few more buildings above ground, but not too much. Sort of like this: I might consider being a halfling again, and I'm sure the halflings will have a beautiful home in 3.0. I'd also suggest larger homes, like Bag End. When I roleplayed as a halfling we built a really nice smial based off Bag End on the outskirts of Skravia.

Her father, Bran conDoin, had been 2nd in command of the conDoin army, but when the army disbanded, he has been missing ever since and is presumed dead. Laela had always denied the fact he was dead, but tries to keep her mind elsewhere. The elderly but strangely healthy and fit Sir Arthur Dayne educated Laela well in all acedemic subjects. Sir Arthur being a stalwart warrior, Laela was also taught combat and swordplay. Her knowledge combined with her combat skills, she could grow up to be a very dangerous young woman. She had always proved to have an absract way of thinking, and a hint of cleverness to her every word. But as the days became years, Laela grew tired of idle study and training. She loved Sir Arthur as a father, but she could not stay forever. She explained this notion to him, and he understood. Laela didn't feel too awful for leaving the old man, for she thought if he survived for seventy years he would live to be two-hundred. Laela's plan was to explore the wilds in search for her father; unbeknownst to Sir Arthur Dayne. A foolish idea that she would usually frown upon, but at the moment she was too much filled with emotions to think logically. Many other illogical decisions followed, such as entering a rather dark cave and being shocked by its quantity of spiders.
