*chuckles lightly hearing Wocket, musing sarcastically to himself about how the authorities made a great choice appointing a woman with no military experience as his superior. The very thought of having to obey a female commander who obviously can't be trusted to hold her own in combat sends hot blood coursing through his body. He shrugs, removing the red sash he wears along with the golden pin of a Gladius. He walks forward, shouldering through his comrades until he stands directly in front of Wocket. He drops the sash at her feet with a dull thud, his face unnervingly passive. He looks down upon the woman, taking a small step backwards in order to lessen the angle in which his neck has to bend to. His arms slowly fold and his lips part as he speaks queitly, his voice radiates power, making no attempt to correct his accent, being as he does so for no one except those he deems worthy of ultimate respect.*
"I do believe I won't be needed anymore, Wocket. If I were ye', I'd hit the gym, be a model fer' the men, young lads don't fall happily in line with someone they don't trust ta' stand in their own armour."
*points absently with his thumb at the group, having paused in order to watch the confrontation*
"There is only so much ye' can do leadin' with words and promises. What really 'ounts is if ye've got the stomach ta' stand alongside the men and fight with 'em. Nothin' speaks louder than a cowardly man. Er... In yer' case woman I s'ppose... Good luck ta' ye', Mi'Lady. Call if ye' need anythin', I'll be around. 'member, experience counts fer' more than anythin' else, if yer' comin' to lead these men with pure book knowledge... Ta' put it lightly... Yer' fawked."
*turns his gaze to the Gladiants, saying smoothly*
"Been a pleasure, lads."
*nods once to the Gladiants, then returning to Wocket, he bows deeply, sarcasm and spite radiating from the gesture. He rises slowly, turning on his heel and walking out of the keep, spitting into the sand of the training field*
((No hard feelings irl btw, my character is 1) Sexist and 2) Really annoyed that you got the job over him with no experience. It wouldn't really make sense for him to stick around even when he's done a lot for the Gladiants. Irl, from the guy formerly in charge to the girl now in charge, good luck, it's harder than it looks... I'll stop by, I'm interested in seeing how this goes! Good luck again, peace :D))
