VILLAGE CHARTER MC Name: Silentstealth RP Name: Jax Village Name: Tetradale Why is your character starting this village/settlement? What is its purpose? Jax and his friends, Glonim, and Rein Malicon were exploring Salvus when they came across a patch off grasslands surrounded by hills. They decided that it would be a nice place for a little village. The figured the wouldn't have to make as many walls around the village because of the surrounding hills. The area was beautiful especially as the sun would set because the reflection of the sunlight made the hills glow a ruby red. The reason we are starting this village is we one day plan on starting a guild and this would be the perfect area for a Lair. It his pretty distant from any other settlement. It will provide a safe haven for anyone who wishes to live in the village. What type of political system or leadership is within the village? The village will be run by a Counsel of five people who vote on different decisions about the village. The Counsel will divided into sections like the following: The head of the village: makes sure the village is doing well overall. The head of the military: Makes sure the military is top notch. The head of well-being: Make sure everyone is enjoying the village. The head of production: Makes sure the village is gathering enough supplies. The head of construction: Makes sure the village is growing properly. What sort of behavior will residents exhibit? (Race relations, nation relations, etc.) The village residents will be pretty peaceful. You may run into an occasional drunken villager as we are laid back on our laws about ale consumption. We have times to party ,times to relax and times to get to work. We are not prejudice towards any race or nation. We are pretty much completely neutral when it comes to war. Jax uses the materials in his bag along with materials in the area to make the child some suitable clothing. Child: Much better, but I am still lost. Jax: Come with me child I will take you to the nearest inn until we find your parents. Jax escorts the child to an inn,pays for some food ,water, and a room for the child. Jax: Stay here until I find your parents. Child: Okay. 9) You are walking down the road when a bandit stops you and threatens to kill you if you don't give him all your money and valuables. Jax looks the bandit in the face. Jax: Please back away and I will try to help you. Jax hands the bandit some food and a couple of minas. Bandit: Th- Thank you kind sir. Jax: It was no problem when you need anything you can come to me instead of trying to rob people. 10) As you walk through the local market place a person begins to yell that Aeriel and the other patrons are weak and cruel and claims that joining Iblees is the only way to survive. Jax approaches the person and ask him to stop yelling out such remarks. Jax: I refuse to join the Iblees and yet I will still survive, You will be fine if you don't join the Iblees just remember to look towards the light. 11) A person walks up and asks you, "Why does God allow suffering to continue?" Jax: God allows suffering so you will not forsake him, He also wants to show you that through his might you can overcome any obstacle in your path. The Person: Thank you, I understand now. This must include the history of your character and his life as well as age, appearance and personality, etc.): Raised by Potori a black smith/miner and Rebecca Jackson a scholar, 16 year old Braxton is a 6 foot muscular teen, with a milk chocolate complexion, and a pretty thick obsidian black beard for his age who is pretty protective. He was born in Arethor the city where his parents met and fell in love at. As a young boy he used to hear legends of region called Aegis much like the one he lives on now, except it was destroyed by a huge battle with the undead. Braxton vowed to never let anything like that happen in Asulon. He is a pretty talkative teen and some would say he is a natural born ladies’ man. Potori wanted Braxton to work in the mines with him; however Rebecca wanted Braxton to be a Religious Scholar. His mother always said that learning and religion is what gains wealth not brute force. But Braxton had other plans he wanted to be a warrior and maybe even start a small militia. It's not that he enjoyed fighting he just wanted to protect people who couldn't protect themselves. Braxton was lucky enough to have a pretty wealthy family who gave him his iron sword at the age of 7 and a stone pickaxe at the age of 10. Even though his father Potori was just a miner he knew combat well for he had to fight off zombies and skeletons in the darkness of caves. Potori taught Braxton all of what he knew about combat. Braxton likes going exploring and finding cities that he never would of dreamed existed. One day as Braxton was walking out the city gate to go on his weekly exploration he ran into a girl about his age. The girl was the most beautiful thing he had ever seen. When he asked her what her name was she said "Raven Lorina and that she aspired to be a world famous chef. Soon Braxton and his beloved raven grew insuperable and they knew it was love. Braxton would talk to Raven more than anyone including his own family. They often go exploring together and find tons of neat places, one time they went as far as Malinor, where they were welcomed by elves. They loved it and decided once they turned 18 they would move there together. Braxton is afraid of few things such as heights and getting old. He loves to chop down mobs of zombies, skeletons, and bandits. Also, He loves going on grand adventures and journeys. He is pretty easy going and is extremely clumsy. He is addicted to ale and bread and always carries some with him. He likes the view of the sun setting above water but is not too fond of swimming. He is usually happy but if he sees something suspicious going on he stiffens up and immediately tries to help the situation. Braxton never lets anyone take advantage over him, people who attempt to take advantage of him is what ticks him off the most. He is a heroic kind of guy and tries to help as many people as he can which sometimes gets him in trouble. He hates to hurt people especially their feelings and has a strong conscience. Braxton makes friends easily and he also feels that everyone needs a friend and will attempt to befriend anyone. However if someone hurts him he won’t hesitate to get revenge and hurt them back even though he knows that guilt will come. What is your Character's ambitions?: My character's Main ambition is to move to Malinor with his beloved Raven. Also, He wants to start a small militia, and keep all Humans, Elves, Dwarves, and Orcs alike safe. What is your character’s favorite tool? (sword, pickaxe, shovel, etc): My characters favorite tool has to be his iron sword which he takes on every adventure. His father made it for him when he was 7. He once had to use it to fend off a couple zombies and skeletons on one of his weekly explorations. What is one of your Character's most skilled talents? He is a excellent swords man but not the best. He is also good at sneaking around and finding out information he needs in order to complete a goal. He is also very good when it comes to speech. He has tons of facial hair a full beard and mustache connected which is definitely premature for his age. He has dark mud brown eyes and a pretty smooth box hair cut. Personality: Braxton loves to eat and is willing to try new foods even Orc delicacy, He has a high metabolism so he stays pretty thin. He loves to talk a lot and usually when he talks he is flirting with a female. When he is not practicing swordsmanship you can either find him sleeping at home in solace, mining, or maybe even having a meal. Open-Response-Questions Whilst traveling from the Cloud Temple you see a small halfling, being harassed by two armed warriors. They appear to be trying to steal money from him, how does your character respond? He attempts to sneak up on the armed men and kill them to protect the halfling. But is spotted when he steps on a branch. The armed warriors run towards Braxton and he tries to hold them off while the halfing escapes. Eventually the armed soldiers overwhelm Braxton and he ends up running in the other direction. Your character wanders into Alras, and comes across a small stall, behind which a well dressed man is standing. He’s offering various wares, the merchant turns to you and says in a posh accent " 'ello there, what can I do you for today?" What is your character response? "Where is the nearest inn, and can I have some of your Ale and Bread?" The merchant hands braxton what he asked for along with a map of the region. "Thank you." Braxton says as he walks away in the direction of the inn. Whilst wandering in the wilds, your character comes across a small hut, which looks abandoned. Inside it you see a chest containing a few iron bars, and a golden sword. How would your character respond?: Wandering the wild in his free time, Braxton comes to a clearing in the wilderness. "A village." Braxton says to himself. Although most of the village is burnt down one hut still stands. He stumbles in side nearly tripping on a chest. He looks around to make sure no one is watching and peeks inside the chest. "Interesting, A gold sword and some iron bars that might be useful for building armor." He decides to wait the night out in the hut and if the owner doesn't return when he awakens he will definitely claim the goodies. He decides one day to bring raven to this village so they can find out more about it. Hungry and lost in the wilderness, you stumble across a small trading camp nestled among the forest, they greet you you in the common tongue, how do you respond? Orc Trader: "He huma may me hel you." Braxton: "Bread and pork please."-points at a loaf of bread and juicy pork in a basket- Orc Trader: "15 moneys prease." Braxton: "Okay thank you kind orc." -hands orc 15 minas- Orc Trader: "Thank ju." Braxton walks of slowly. You hear word that bandits occupy the road outside the town in which you have been staying. The town guard have gathered, and are asking for assistance to help eliminate them. The leader of the party is offering a reward for any who offer their support. How does your character act on this information?: I join the guards and a man with a strange emblem on his armor the captain guard I assume, formulates a plan that will give us the upper hand. Following the plan we then separate into different groups and head off in multiple directions so that we are surround the bandits. An arrow is shot into the air (the signal) so we start marching towards the bandits. The bandits spring into action slaying some of the guardsmen that surround them. They execute about 5-7 of the guards but the crowd of people moving towards them is overwhelming. “we’ve got you surrounded” Said the guard with the strange emblem. A broad shouldered, bald bandit with an eye patch asks to speak to the king. A few of the guard run in the direction of the king’s castle and disappear inside. There is a short live silence which felt like hours , The king and the guards who ran towards his castle emerge in the distance walking in a slow strut. Sweat drips down my face because I have never such a high political figure. The king finally arrives on the road and whispers something to one of the guards. The guard then says, “The king would like to know why you bandits are here.” The bald bandits says,” there are matters we must discuss.” The king says, “I have nothing to discuss with low down bandits such as you guys. The bandits yell something I can’t make out what and then there is a frenzy. The bandits start to slash again but are soon eliminated by the overwhelming force of the crowd. We go back into the town the guard with the strange emblem introduces himself to me and explains that he is indeed the guard captain. He offers me a reward of 500 minas but I decline because I felt I didn’t deserve it.
