Small 2-3 Sentence Description of yourself: I love basketball, minecraft, and RPG's. I always love to slip into a book or a movie, and forget about everything that troubles me, and I guess that is one of the reasons I like role-playing so much. How much time could you be on the server weekly?: Sometimes 3-4 nights, sometimes less, depends on my schedule, mostly. What do you know about Roleplaying? Give a definition of what it means to you: Role-playing is turning into a different person, and living in that persons world. Role-playing allows you to define yourself in different ways, and leave your normal life. What experience have you had in Roleplaying, if any?: I only play on minecraft role-playing servers, I play skyrim all the time (and I know that isn't "roleplaying" but me and my friends when they bring their laptops play skyrim, and role play like that). In your own Words, define what the act of Meta-Gaming is: Meta-gaming is giving your character information he/she would not have, such as looking at someones username and going "hey joe" even though your character has never met joe before. Meta-gaming can apply to many things, though, not just names such as the locations of enemies, bases, and things of that nature. In your own Words, define what the act of Power-Gaming is: Power-gaming is allowing your character to do things that other people cannot react to i.e. (I am joe) "Joe steals Bob's purse, then stabs him in the back". This would be considered power-gaming because Bob has nothing that he can do. What do you expect this server will be like?: This server is (butt-kissing aside) the best minecraft role-playing server, and I love both of those things. What other server(s) have you played on and why did you leave them?: Well, I have played on many role-play servers, though I have not played in a while, in particular, I remember playing on a server with Omnyaxle (a member here) which was fun, and I remember a LOTR based server a lot like this one. Did someone refer you?: No, I was searching for planet minecraft and happened to find it when searching for a real role-playing server, since many servers nowadays claim to be role-play, but really they just have mcmmo and think that makes it an RPG. They fished, they farmed, and Thorn loved his life. Farming made Thorn muscular, which benefited to his relationship with the girls in the village and the boys, which Thorn cared about, for he was very vain. After years, Thorn had grown into a tall, good looking man, who was very proud of what he had accomplished, and one day Thorn began talking to a girl, Remina, who he became absolutely fascinated with, he loved her with every fiber in his body, and she loved him too. Exactly six nights before they were too be wed, Remina dissapeared, which thrust Thorn into a deep depression. Thorn stopped talking to people, and became known as the "Lurker" as he would solemnly walk around the village, not talking. Thorn was looking for guidance, and help, and he never got any, which contributed even more to his changing personality. Soon after, one day when Thorn was sitting by the lake, sipping rocks, a man came up to him, and said "Your father has....passed." Overwhelmed with greif, Thorn let out a roar of bellowing rage and greif, of the likes he never could have imagined. When he calmed down, he went back to the village, and wept by his fathers lifeless body, for his father was the person he cared for most. That night, Thorn had gotten his fathers blade, and was going to kill himself, when just before he thrust the sword into his chest, he heard a voice, "Don't do it boy, your meant for things." Turning around slowly, Thorn saw a strong man, a man who had an aura, of, Thorn couldn't put his finger on it, authority? "Dont do it." "W-w-what am I supposed to do?" "Come with me" Thorn figured it didn't matter what happened, so he went with the man. "You need to learn the ways of the hunter, the ways of the blade." And every night, at that time, the man showed up, and Thorn practiced, it was the only thing in his life that he felt like calmed him. Stabbing the tree helped him vent his anger, and slowly, Thorn turned back into the tall muscular man he was. After three months, the man came back, and bestowed Thorn one of the nicest objects he had ever seen, a golden sword with rubies lined, and a dragon engraved on the blade. What is one of your Character's most skilled talents?Thorn has a keen sixth sense, which helps him pick up on things near him, and he can sense a persons true intent. Thorn is also an excellent swordsman. A screenshot of your skin (must be in proper format): Other Information about your Character: Thorn tends to get somewhat depressed at time when he reminisces about his father, while in these depressed stages, a bottle of ale is something Thorn tends to use to stop the pain. Open-Response-Questions Whilst traveling from the Cloud Temple you see a small halfling, being harassed by two armed warriors. They appear to be trying to steal money from him, how does your character respond? Thorn, immediately realizing that these men will try and make an excuse if he calls them out, yells "HEY! You two bulbous pig-bellies better stop!" The warriors turn to Thorn, clearly angered, when they start toward him, Thorn yells "RUN!" The halfling obeys. Thorn quietly takes note that these two men are rather....large...and so he begins to run, hoping to outrun them, behind him, Thorn hears "HEY BOY! I LOVE A GOOD CHASE!" Thorn keeps running until he finds a hiding place under a tree where he waits for the warriors to pass before carrying on his way, feeling good about what he did. Your character wanders into Alras, and comes across a small stall, behind which a well dressed man is standing. He’s offering various wares, the merchant turns to you and says in a posh accent " 'ello there, what can I do you for today?" What is your character response? "What do ya got for sale?" "Well, mostly just clothes, but I also have a nice dagger right here." "Oh?" Thorn peers into the small, oak wood box the merchant is holding and sees a fine dagger adorned with precious jewels. "How much?" "More than you got." Thorn, realizing this is probably true, turns and walks away. Whilst wandering in the wilds, your character comes across a small hut, which looks abandoned. Inside it you see a chest containing a few iron bars, and a golden sword. How would your character respond?: Thorn is very fond of nice blades, but knows that it would be very dishonorable to take the gold blade, so instead he takes one iron bar, and then rests for about an hour before leaving. Hungry and lost in the wilderness, you stumble across a small trading camp nestled among the forest, they greet you you in the common tongue, how do you respond? Thorn asks "Do you have anywhere to sleep?" One of the women cradling a small baby points to a hut about 15 yards away. Thorn walks in to see beds taking up almost the whole hut, with many injured men laying in the beds. "What happened?" Thorn asks. "In their sleep, someone lit a fire in these people's huts while cooking, it burned many of them." Thorn begins to examine them and notices many burn marks, and hears moans. Thorn knows this is not good to stay here, in case someone is infected, but offers some assistance. "You can give them water when they need it." The man says. "Okay" Thorn takes a bottle of water and helps the people for an afternoon before carrying on his way. You hear word that bandits occupy the road outside the town in which you have been staying. The town guard have gathered, and are asking for assistance to help eliminate them. The leader of the party is offering a reward for any who offer their support. How does your character act on this information?: Thorn knows he must help, after all, he is a good swordsman, and by the desperation in the mans voice, they need all the help they can get. Thorn begins walking down with three men, and are ambushed, just how one of the men said they would be. Thorn aims to injure, not to kill, and as they fight Thorn realizes that everyone is getting tired, they are evenly matched. Thorn hopes someone else will kill their matchup, as Thorn does not want to. As if on cue, the eldest man kills a large, beefy, bandit with a curved sword. This makes it four on three, and Thorn and the other men quickly immobilize all of the men. As they go back for their reward, the man has a nervous look on his face when they ask for the reward and says "We do not have it right now." "WHAT?!" one man yells. "Sorry, but we cannot currently pay you." Thorn decides to leave in case things get ugly, though he is still very upset.

How much time could you be on the server weekly?: Varies by week (divorced parents) but usually at least 3 nights a week + weekends. What do you know about Roleplaying? Give a definition of what it means to you:Roleplaying is easy to define literally, as it means playing a role. But there is a whole different aspect to roleplaying, the aspect or making decisions, and being the master of your own fate as you wind through the river of "life". What experience have you had in Roleplaying, if any?: I play on only roleplay servers on minecraft, me and my friends roleplay a lot on various video games, and I love to play text-based RPG's which, I know they are RPG's but it is comparable to roleplaying as you have many different choices and actions. In your own Words, define what the act of Meta-Gaming is: The most common example of meta-gaming I see on roleplay servers is when people know your characters "name" even though their character hasn't met you, i.e. My username is tree123 and some guy walks up to me who I have never seen and says "hey tree!". This is Meta-gaming because that player has knowledge that they should not have. In your own Words, define what the act of Power-Gaming is: Power-Gaming is giving your character an unfair advantage or some other benefit to in most cases, keep your character alive, or make some "fantastic" battle scene where your character is supposedly doing all these things that would never happen. What do you expect this server will be like?: I have researched this server for about two days now, and I can honestly say, without trying to flatter you guys, that this is the best minecraft roleplay server that currently exists. What other server(s) have you played on and why did you leave them?: I have played on Fall of an Empire, and actually many other server that I do not remember, but one sticks out in my mind in particular that was similar to this server, where it was all roleplay all the time, and I liked that a lot. How did you hear about us?: Searching Planet Minecraft for a real hardcore roleplay server, one of the reasons I want to join this server. What I have found is that servers just download a plugin like "heroes", and slap an rp tag on it, but the thing is, roleplay is being someone else, not just chatting like any other server. Thorn just wants to know what he is meant to do, and will do anything to find it out. "Just messing with the little fella." "Well I think you should stop." "Oh really?" the man says, walking chest to chest with Thorn. "Yes." both men come up to Thorn and start sizing him up. Thorn then yells, "RUN!" The halfling obeys and Thorn holds off the soldiers but is overcome by two soldiers at once, so he starts climbing a tree. At first, this seems like a good strategy, but one of the warriors has a bow! Thorn would keep climbing until he could, then would lure one of the warriors under a branch with taunting. "Hey big fella' you gonna come over here?" "Well see, little boy!" Thorn would then cut the branch, hoping to effectively immobilize one soldier. Thorn examines the table, seeing multiple knives, but one in particular catches his eye, "I want that one" "Oh, shes a beauty, but shes expensive, what do you got for her?" "Well, i've got some gold." "Oh really?" Thorn then picks up the knife and examines it, upon noticing it is fake, he says "Everybody! This knife is fake, do not buy from this fraud!" The man pulls a dagger on Thorn, but seeing as Thorn is more skilled he quickly immobilizes the man and says, "You might wanna get better at sword fighting before you try and scam me, aye?" How would your character respond?: Thorn, knowing how it feels to lose things, decides to take a night rest and not take anything, or at least thats the man until an Orc walks into the shack and begins speaking in a language Thorn doesn't understand. Thorn, being afraid at their presence, pretends to still be asleep. One of the orc's pokes him with a stick and starts laughing and talking, and when the orc is very entertained, Thorn gets up quickly and dashes out at full speed, going back to wherever he came from. The leader of the party is offering a reward for any who offer their support. How does your character act on this information?: Thorn hates villains and outlaws, and so he offers to help. Going down to the camp, he is ambushed, though Thorn predicted this, and so multiple other men who came with him, show themselves. They get in a large battle blood is spilled. Thorn gets cut in the arm, and a hefty man yells "Go on! We can hold 'em!" Trusting the man, Thorn keeps going, and finds some hostages held up in a tent, and he begins untying them when he hears a voice "What are ya doin?" Thorn tries to whip around cut the man, but he forgets his cut arm and gasps in pain. The man charges at him, when the same large man from earlier comes up and kills the man instantly. Shocked at the mans instant killing, Thorn fears this large man has an ulterior motive, and Thorn is right when the man charges at him, but Thorn expects it, and grabs his sword with his healthy hand and bests the man in the sword fight and tells the man to leave. Walking home, Thorn wonders what this man was doing?
