  1. ((OCC:I do not know, but I saw two people paroling front gates few minutes ago.))
  2. ((OCC: a bit of powergaming. City gates would be closed before you could reach them, as thousand men army could be spotted miles away))
  3. Tahar sees gathered people in a square. Comes closer and starts listening to people shouting to each other. Finds a moment when nobody is speaking and stars talking. "You are no better than those bloodthirstily Valah. Firstly you come and threaten with foreign armies and then try to talk about the peace. Also who will stop Oren or other nation from simply taking over Malinor when they take down our councils? This is our problem and it will be solve by our people. We do not need any foreign armies boots in our land. Anybody who tries to bring death to our lands should be arrested and exiled from our lands no mater who he is. As much I am concerned you my by bribed by those white rose Valachs to foment disagreement between our people." OCC:(Stop whining about Malins. As long mobs drop minas they are no better than Malins)
  4. MCname:Endmine Name:Tahar Dwineplith Age:93 Race:Mali'ame Gender:Male Current job:Lumberjack Do you own a house in malinor?:Yes House information:Akaleh Medium home 4 What district do you live in(Farmland, Mali'aheral, Druii?, Capital, Sentinel)?:Capital I think How many OTHER people live in your home:None
  5. Tahar reds the notes on noticeboard and begins to write one himself. "Yes one of main disadvantages of having Malins is that we are completely dependent on our councils. I myself do not have great trust in them as they change quite often. Old people go away, new people come and with them polices can change drastically which I do not like. You somehow only see disadvantages of Malins but they bring a lot of good things too. Firstly our economy becomes more stable and independent on other nations. When other economies my be on brink of collapse our will be able to function without much of a change. Also it allows only Malinor workers to get housing, which is great as rich people from other nations will not be able to outbid our own people and everybody has fair chance of getting housing. Furthermore I do not seen need for Malinor citizens to have minas as all their needs are fulfilled by having a job inside Malinor. I do not see why elfs should go outside Malinor and live inside other nations, unless you are a merchant, but most population is simple workers not merchants. In the end merchants can simply do item trade. In the end as far as I know there is no restriction to sell collected goods outside Malinor for minas if you really need them, nobody ask you to only get Malins... - Tahar" Tahar finishes writing the note and pins it to the noticeboard.
  6. Tahar puts a piece of paper with some questions written on it inside lockbox. I assume there will no be no community option for wages, so we will need to live of 2 Malins for whole week as 10 Malins will go to paying for housing? Are not quotas a bit to big? They quadrupled form initial quotas and from your saying they can increase even further if Hight Council will need more goods? My main concern at the moment is lumberjacks quota. It needs apples but we do not have trees which produce high amount of apples. I am pretty happy when I get one from 20 trees. Signed, Tatar Dwinepith
  7. Firstly it is unrealistic in every possible way there is. Secondly is it unfair as only hunter/warriors benefit from it. So such currency system makes no sense.
  8. I did not really complained about my items. I was trying to figure out what it thiefs are allowed to do. Not relay sure how guards or neighbors can do anything as sometimes server has <10 people on it. I already considered finding locksmith as it it best solution. Also it is important to find and punish people if they are breaking the rules which you suggest to simply ignore. Ether way thanks for answers.
  9. For my case i live in a city. Thief take ~20 emeralds ant some other stuff form one, >3 stack of wheat and other vegetables from second chest. Not to mention left some of his own stuff in my chest... Other thiefs at lest left a sign. Also I have seen a lot of signs saying that doors or chest are locked. Does this mean anything? Would thief need gm and do a /roll to go past this kind of "security"? The problem I see that there is no way to know if you been robed by "legal" thief.
  10. So I have a question. How to know a difference if you have been just simply robed or "greefed"? As now there is no perms and only vips can add locks. So basically anyone can enter you house and take anything they want. Obviously good thiefs at least leave a sign, but not every one. Is there a restriction how much legal thief (has VA) can take?
  11. So we are breaking even more our broke economy. Normal workers do not have any means to get money from their goods as there is no demand, because everybody can simply go and collect needed goods by themselves. Kingdoms do not have income to pay for their workers and guards. For kingdom go and farm mobs to have money is not an income. Although I agree that we can increase items drops for mobs a bit, to make life easier for hunters and warriors. And for money none or less than 0,5 mina per mob, because you can assume that hunter kill hundreds of mobs a day ant you do not want for regular workers earning more from regular encounters with mobs than from their real job. If it is easier to simply go and kill some mobs to earn required amount of money, than to do your job, then it is not a good thing for economy.
  12. ((MC Name)): Endmine Name: Tahar Dwineplith Race: Wood Elf Home: Already have in Mali'ame district Do you agree to follow the laws of Malinor?: Yes Desired job: Lumberjack (Worked as lumberjack in Nomador)
  13. *a small note is pined on board in the hall of labor* Hello, I am working as a lumberjack and live in house number 50. I would like to get my quota chest set up. Also I was not payed for may last quota before hall of labor reconstruction. Tahar
  14. Name of the Person who Proposed the Change: Whitebeard Change: Resource permits Your concerns about the Change: I like main idea, but problem lies with wilds and unregioned plots. People will simply go to them and gather resources for free while other people will have to spend money for permits.
  15. Firstly what is this Elder Empire with it's capital city Wilvanash in the middle of Malinor lands? So we are going to abandon Nomador or how it will work? OCC: are you working on Wilvanash or Sylvenor? Also I myself and probably other city workers and citizens would like to help in any way we can.
