    Do I need a special Launcher to play LotC? It works fine on my laptop but crashes on my new computer, what the hell?

      It's just regular ol' minecraft that's required. If you're experiencing crashes, I'd strongly suggest looking into your own computer for issues. A possible issue could be a lack of memory to sustain minecraft.
