Character biography - Make this at least 2 paragraphs long, which must explain your character’s history, appearance, personality, age and any other details you deem necessary:
[Do not worry, I will not use any magic until my week is over, But when it is, I will make a magic application.]
180 years ago, a High Elf was born to the family Acaln’iheiun, or in the common language, Gold Winds. Acaln’iheiun was a rich family of course, yet they have hit hard times. They lost their castle to an orcish raid. Most of the family did not survive that night, and the ones who did were possibly all slaves. But Ulndal and Vaen’lathil Acaln’iheiun survived, and fled the orcish raiders.
Ulndal and Vaen’lathil were married, and had a child outside of the city Haelun’or. With grief and desperation, they begged to be let in, holding the small child in hand. The guards of Haelun’or said this, and only it: “You may come in, but only because of the child you hold!” shouted the guard on the right of the gate. “You may raise him here, but after his 200th year, he will be cast out of the city so that he might learn more about this world and its peoples.” said the guard on the left. So they let the couple and the young Laer’nal in the Silver City of the Mali’aheral and let him be raised within.
When Laer’nal was 10 elven years old, he was put into the Haelun’or College to learn more about his people. Within this College, he learned that his people were the inheritors of Asulon, and that they were the greatest people. Laer’nal accepted these, being told by his mother and father the gifts Malin bestowed upon the Mali’aheral. One of his first lessons was: “Maehr’sae Hiylun’ehya.” He learned that “Maehr’sae” meant to grow in knowledge over the long life given to the Mali’aheral. So Maehr’sae meant progress. He also learned that “Hiylun’ehya” meant to keep the Mali’aheral pride, honor, and race pure. By pure he was told meant to “Give Mali’aheral proper clothing, education, food, and family,” “And to keep the other races out of our blessed lineage.” He believed this whole heartedly, and accepted that the Mali’aheral was a blessed race.
At the firm, yet young age of 16, he was taught swordsmanship, and magic (DO not worry! I will make a magic app in due time, or until my one week is up and until then, I will use no magic RP). His swords play teacher was Mali’aheral Jyna’naeri. Jyna’naeri was kind, patient, and energetic. She told him that Mali’aheral swords were the best Mali made swords. His tutor taught him a good tactic called: Balance of the Blades. This art was when you made a stance that kept your balance on your right, and left even. It was very effective if fighting multiple foes at a time. For 80 years he trained with Jyna’naeri, and by the end of it, he could effectively knock out his master’s sword with ease.
His magic tutor’s name was Kal’nasir (I am telling you again, I will not RP magic until I am able to make a Magic App and get it accepted). Kal’nasir was wise, knowledgeable, and old. His first lessons were hard, and long. Not that Laer’nal complained about it. Laer’nal was interested in the magic arts, and wished to see ways that he could use it with swords-play. He preferred the more elemental magic of lightning over any other. So, for 20 years he trained in magic, and at his age of 200, his training ended, and was sent into the world, to learn about its peoples.
What are your characters ambitions?: He wishes to complete the “Maehr’sae Hiylun’ehya.” By going around the world, learning what he can. He hates the Uruks, and will kill one if he can, but will spare it if an innocent could get hurt. He does not dislike the Mori’ker, and is nice, and respectful towards them. The Mori’ame are equal in his favor too. He does not dislike, or like the Mali’Quessir, but is wary of them.

Is there anything else you would like to say about your character:
He is kind towards other Mali, except the Mali’Quessir, which he is neutral about. The humans are distasteful, and bland in his eyes, dwarves are almost the same as humans, but not as bland. The Bortu’ame (Dwarves of the Forest) are much better than the other bortu in his eyes. Those who are friends of the Mori are friends to him. He strives for peace, and making the Mali’aheral the guardians of knowledge, and magic. He also will give money and food to the poor. But will not refuse money when provided,
Open-Response-Questions
Answer at least two of the below questions with a minimum of one full paragraph, and detail the scene you are given in the way it would happen in roleplay. These questions should be answered in first person. Be detailed, not short.
Upon entering the Mighty Human City of Arethor, you come across a shop-keeper calling out to sell his wares to passers-by. The shopkeeper is not a Human, he is a poor dwarf looking to make a living in a new city. What is your response?
Laer’nal walks into the Human city of Arethor, with looks of distaste from the humans, and dwarves that are not of the bortu’ame. He walks into the market, looking for a new sword, and armor. He comes along a poor dwarf, selling worn, rusted weapons and armor. The dwarf looks up at the High Elf in front of him, and asks him if he sees anything that he likes. “Hello, lord High Elf, do you see any of my wares that you like?” he asks. Laer’nal browses over his wears, and finds a rarity; an Elven sword! “How much for this,” He points towards the sword. “Elven Sword?” “That will be 150 minas good High Elf.” The dwarf said. “Then it is a deal.” He says as he hands over the minas, and picks up the sword.
You’re wandering the Oren Road late at night, when a large Orc begins to threaten a nearby dwarf. There is no help nearby, and the situation looks like it will escalate into violence soon, what does your character do?
Laer’nal walks on the empty quiet road at night, until he hears the fighting of an uruk, and a bortu fighting. “Giv me the damned minas Mag’got,” said the orc, menacingly as he lifted up the axe, as if he was going to strike. “Or yer ‘ead will mount me wall!” shouted the orc. Laer’nal slid into a nearby bush, watching this unfold, drawing his blade as if ready to fight at any time “Here! Here are the minas, orc!” the cowering dwarf said as he threw the coins in the orc’s face. The orc bellowed with rage, and prepared to strike. Laer’nal was ready for this, and ran towards the orc, blocking the attack barely. “Uruk, if you wish to live another day on Asulon,” snarled Laer’nal “Then let the bortu go, and keep your minas, if you do not do so…” said Laer’nal. “You will regret it.” Laer’nal said menacingly.
The orc, knowing what the High Elf would do, backed off. “I ‘ill leve dis mag’got,” spat the orc “ Bu’t on’y becu’s he is not wurth et.” said the orc as he stomped off. “Bortu, take your minas, you will need it if you are to get haelun.” said Laer’nal gently. “Aye, thank ye High Elf.” said the dwarf as he picked up the minas.
Whilst walking down the road to Malinor, you stumble upon an old man. His walking stick , looks weak and frail, and just as you are about to ask something, the stick breaks, and the man falls to the ground. As he falls down, a bag of Minas falls to the ground, and splits open. As you watch the multiple coins spill out, you peer down at the defenceless man. What does your character do?:
Laer’nal walks towards Malinor, feeling the power of the forest in the air, he sighs happily, and said “I’m home…” he said as he entered the forest. But this feeling of happiness was short-lived as he saw an old human’s cane break. As it broke, Laer’nal heard the shout of an old man saying “Ah!” He ran towards the thing that made the sound, and found the old human there, lying on the ground. As he picked up the old man, he asked why he was in Malinor. “Why are you here human?” he asked. “You know that we Mali’aheral dislike your kind.” The old man sighed as he got up. “I am here because of the druids, I might be human, but that does not mean I cannot join them.” He said. “I am old, and near death,” “If I were to do one thing in my life, it would be to help the elven forests, and be buried here with a tree over me.” He finished. Laer’nal listened to the old human, and got him a branch that looked very much like the staff that just broke. “Here, old human.” He said as he handed the human the staff. “Something that will help you walk in this large forest.”
