  1. No guns. We already tried medeusculors. They failed.
  2. YES! SHUT UP AND TAKE MY +1! Khorne shall be PLEASED~! In all seriousness, I'm seriously hyped to have a genuinely NEUTRAL thingamabob-that-changes-you that isn't going to be locked to a tiny subset of people.
  3. That's actually very nice, very nice indeed! An aengul of vengeance would bring a very nice twist to the pantheon of patrons. +1
  4. Hrmn. His realm in lore is described as a courthouse, with him as the judge, jury, and executioner, judgement being a fairly large theme in his lore. If that's what you meant by court, that is. Justice was also an aspect of Tahariae according to the shelved Itharel lore. However, I can see that your lore in particular seems to be indicating a previous aengul that was slain, a previous aengul of justice. Were this to be approved, how would this affect Tahariae's flavor lore, considering all of the aforementioned?
  5. I could be entirely mistaken, but isn't justice part of Tahariae's purview? He is the canon aengul of judgement, of which justice derives from.
  6. Is this a meme..? It just sounds like a new version of the orbital disconnection nuke my era had to put up with. As it stands now, disconnection is very easily undone, meaning so long as you have a group of teachers behind you, your disconnection can only be enforced by open war and the disconnection of all dissenters. More to the point, this is quite literally just a way to enforce visions from your patron by forcing the LT to rule on issues. You will lose /all/ gray areas this way.
  7. A knight, clad in black ferrum plate with a cream linen robe, would frown on reading the notice. "Sterilizing their own kin..?" He'd raise his hand to stroke his GLORIOUS BEARD, only to be stopped by his mask, "It's almost like they've forgotten what happened the last time they committed such crimes against the Descendants." He'd shake his head, and carry on, "Who will the next Phaedrus be, I wonder?"
  8. Oh lovely, this again? Just require folks to RPly train and house their birds. Call it what you want, but if you aren't a druid, why is this random bird following you around and obeying you? If you're sending birds, you should have a legitimate reason to possess them in the first place. Birds need to be housed, fed, and kept warm during winter. Are you some awesome order boss guy who needs to contact men in the field? Go make friends with a druid/someone whose really bloody good with animals, and obtain some legit trained couriers, and keep them in your specially built birdhouse. Are you some evil edgy that drinks the blood of living things and terrifies adorable creatures? Well, that's a good point. I would say buy a reanimated bird from a necromancer, but I'm pretty sure that isn't possible. Find someone who isn't the scourge of all that is cute and cuddly, and make them handle your correspondence instead. Alright alright, so here's my point, since I rambled on and I don't want to delete the rambles. You should only be able to send birds from a GM-approved birdhouse, with a GM signing off that yes, your birds/undead abomination/cuddly kitty/underpaid minimum-wage slave courier, are in fact legitly obtained. After they're sent, yeah who cares let them go to the player rather than forcing people to ping eachother on skype or discord to check their inbox. What is this, 2001? Ain't nobody got time to check their mineman email! Just make it so that you cannot send birds regarding combat until after the event is settled, which would include anything that could potentially be considered as leading up to combat. Oh, and skype-rallying? Meh, I find this attempt to prevent us from defending our homes to be pretty asinine. If you're some no-name edgy punk whose banditing a city in it's RP hot-spots, you deserve to have the guards smash you to bits. Be smart and lure people out into the wilderness or something instead of whining, good grief!
  9. A lanky individual in dark armour near to the loudmouthed man, would laugh darkly at Victoria's words, speaking with a venomous bite to his words "Ach, zis akain? You zo called "holy" undead are vorze zan zee darkness you klaim to oboze! Ich haffe zeen your kind valking liches on leasches, und pedding frost vatches! Vadeffer light you had, you threw avay in Athera ven you fled pefore Iplees, leaffing us all to rot und die!" He'd spit viciously, "You regenerators schall all purn ubon ein lucienist cross afore long for zis und more! Bray to your falze koddess, bray to your zisder of Iplees und pe damned!"
  10. MC Name: AstartesTemplar RP Name: Arel Doomforged Reasoning for Applying: Ever since the Fringe, when DarkJames discussed the lore with me, I've been considering playing a Doomforged off and on. Now that my main character of two and a half years is dead, I reckon it's time to live up the short life. Do you accept to follow the rules of playing a Doomforged? Well I wouldn't be applying if I didn't, now did I? Of course I do! Bloodline: Demagol Parents (Optional, only if you are playing a current member's child): Nada. Also what's up with the strange font shift here? Weird.
  11. Deep beyond the reach of Aeriel, a familiar foe feasts upon roast dragon. Turns out death isn't all that bad when you go to your chosen afterlife. A momentary glance towards Axios, and he chuckles, "So, Azoth saw the light and they disconnected him for it. Seems to be a common theme these days." His attention returns to his companion, "So, you were saying about dreadknights, Elgon?"
  12. The salt must flow! .. In all seriousness, it's been as fairly balanced as it can be, without sacrificing accuracy regarding their nature. +1

  16. Brotherhood of the Golden Lion Let it be known, the Paladins of Xan shall assist the descendants in their efforts to purge any blight that roams these lands. The Maker and his chosen Divine wills it! The Initiate’s Oath ‘I, namehere, do hereby swear that I shall walk upon the path of Xan, Aengul of Order and Guardianship. That I shall live righteously, and deny the sinful nature of my curse; for within my right hand I carry His hammer to strike away the Darkness. Within my left, his shield; holding firm to protect the Descendants of this realm. May those below take me, and those above shun me, should I break this Oath. For those who seek to betray their fellow brothers and sisters, a warning: As stated in the Divine Creed of the Lion, the punishment for Chaos sown is to be denied communion with our ineffable Lord. You have been warned. Ranks: The ranks descend from the Divinely appointed, to the humble Initiate. Prophet The Prophet of Xan, the Lion’s own voice within the realm of mortality. He is considered the spiritual leader of all who profess loyalty unto the Ivory King. Traditionally, this seat is reserved for those descendants of Xan himself, the Athna, though there have been prophets self-proclaimed. Keeper Keepers are the Avatars of Xan, as the Prophet is his voice. Upon his rebirth, Xan created for his service two beings to make his will manifest.. Thus are the Keepers of Guardianship and Order. To disobey them is to disobey Xan himself. Highlord The Highlord of Xan is the chosen leader of the Patron’s holy brethren. It is they to whom all ultimately answer to, and it is upon their shoulders alone that the Brotherhood’s direction rests. High Templar The High Templar is aide to the Highlord, serving as general and overseer. To become High Templar is to stand ardently by the Highlord’s side, handling the general operations of the Order. Templar Templars are those chosen few of Xan who have elected to take upon themselves the burden of instruction. It is they who are responsible for those apprentices taught, and it is they who conduct the final trial of an initiate. Master Vindicator / Master Wyrmstalker Those vindicators and wyrmstalkers who have beseeched the Highlord for a greater role, are the Masters. They are the assistants of the templars, leading the crusaders, initiates, and recruits upon their path. It is they who frequently lead the patrols that roam upon the lands, and rally a broken defense to stand defiant against the Deceiver’s legions. Vindicator / Wyrmstalker Those paladins who have completed their training, but have not yet felt the call towards leadership, are merely Vindicators and Wyrmstalkers. Honored for their devotion, they are the few who stand in direct opposition to darkness in all it’s forms, wielding the holy boons to devastating effect. Vindicator / Wyrmstalker Apprentice After being gifted with Xan’s holy boons, the newly christened paladin has risen to the Brotherhood’s meritorious service. The path of a paladin, be it wyrmstalker or vindicator, is determined shortly after connection by the apprentice themselves. Crusader Crusaders are those initiates who have been deemed ready and reviewed, but yet await connection and assignment to a Templar. Initiate Initiate is given to those recruits who have passed their tasks, and proven themselves fully committed upon the path. Initiates are assigned a Master to study under for combat training, history, lessons, and trials. When the Master deems them ready, they are brought before the Templars for review and connection. Recruit Recruits are those desirous of joining Xan’s Holy Chosen. They are given an interview, basic information about our Order, the duties expected of Paladins, and are given tasks to show their dedication. Application To those who wish to stand with us, we of Xan welcome you with open arms. Though it is no minor thing to pledge yourself thusly, know that all are afforded the tasks, it is only upon your willpower that you persevere. Seek out those Templars mentioned, or send a bird to Highlord Ianril the Waveharp with your name, gender, age, and a little about why you wish to commit yourself to this holy path. Those of you who seek to defy us, flee. You shall soon join Setherien within the annals of our long and prosperous history as but a footnote. Name: (( MCName: )) Race: Gender: (( Timezone: )) Write a little about why it is you wish to serve the Aengul of Order: Xan, Aengul of Order, Lord of Guardianship, Patron of the Brotherhood of the Golden Lion: https://www.lordofthecraft.net/forums/topic/150744-xan-the-herald-of-order-aengul/ Revival of Xan: https://www.lordofthecraft.net/forums/topic/150737-the-revival-of-xan/ Asura’s Demise: https://www.lordofthecraft.net/forums/topic/145789-a-gods-descent-the-capturing-of-asura/ Magic Lore: https://www.lordofthecraft.net/forums/topic/150981-%E2%9C%93-the-herald-of-order-the-mists-of-xan-re-write/ Sunspear Lore: https://www.lordofthecraft.net/forums/topic/147954-mists-of-xan-hunters-of-dragonkin/ Limbs of Light: https://www.lordofthecraft.net/forums/topic/139493-mists-of-xan-addition-limbs-of-light/#comment-1317532 The Effects of Disconnection: https://www.lordofthecraft.net/forums/topic/135576-the-effects-of-disconnection/
  17. Interesting lore, but here's a few points that conflict with established magic; AoE healing is still, by and large, the domain of Xan. Since the fall of Setherien and near death of our patron, it has been prohibitively difficult for us to expand our mist into an aura. Yet here is a construct who just glows a little and can do what was once our signature ability with ease. Second point, light constructs were, and still are, a creation of Xan reserved for time of existential warfare. Our holy alteration is required to create them. Third point, light tendrils are atill very much the domain of our Keepers, and have been RPed sparingly. Your construct would take the ability held in such reverence icly that misuse is cause for Xan's judgement, and use it willy-nilly. I don't see how this is okay. Lastly, you asked why Tah doesn't want the Keepers killed? Idk, might have something to do with Xan showing up to class hungover af and Tah letting him use the itharel blueprints for the "endgame" creature assignment.
  18. Burn the Heretic. Kill the Mutant. Purge the Unclean. 10/10 would do all of the above.
  19. Will soulbinding be made available to all or left for diamond vip?
  20. Ianril would merely shake his head, "And yet these mali'fenn are the same who sought to butcher the women and children of Linandria, so long ago.. I need a drink." He'd shuffle off to the tavern, telling tales to all who might listen, of heroic deeds.
  21. Ianril, taking a moment to enjoy a spot of tea, would sigh at the news, "So be it. May GOD be with the departed, and peace come to us swiftly."
  22. Meanwhile, a holy folk who gathers colossal amounts of information just by listening, would just point at the shaggily robed figure, "See kids, that's how you identify a dark mage. They dress in the most obscuring sheets possible, and then demand we ignore them."
  23. Ianril the Waveharp, would sigh as he slowly writes his name in emerald ink, using exacting methodologies to get it just right. ((AstartesTemplar))
  24. The lanky paladin whom frequents Linandria, only shakes his head, "I told him this would happen. He chose not to listen."
  25. Order form: Gender: Male Age: physically, mid 30s. Race: Adunian Picture: Skin reference https://gyazo.com/8eff81047c5aaed29baeedae27284995 Picture reference Body type: tall and lithe What do you want them doing: Evoking the emerald starlight of Xan around his bluesteel greatsword.
