  1. A breeze rolls through Malinor.

  2. It is certainly your right to request the lock, but there is still information that can be added to grant greater perspective to the Lore Team, and even shed light on the differences between both types of magic that are not readily apparent.
  3. War Cleric is not an IC rank of the Clerical Order, but rather the name of the magic. This makes the major difference between the two being them having arcane and us not. War Cleric is specifically tailored to fight evil as the patron defines it. In this case, Tahariae defines evil on the orange and blue morality scale, meaning it effects on a state of being, rather than a state of good and evil, as with black and white morality. A scourge-born could be the nicest person ever, and they would still be considered impure, and thus affected by any magic that is powered by Tahariae. This however is -not- license to kill just for pinging on the evil-dar. If a war cleric were to kill said scourge-born for just being scourge-born, odds are they would find several irate clerics subduing them, and removing their connection permanently, given that the Patrons speak to their most powerful servants whenever a disconnect is necessary, as do the Aspects when a druid uses magic. Toov hybrids had healing and pyromancy, having free reign to misuse and abuse their fire without fear. edit: Sorry Ahri! Should've checked before posting! Clerics of Tahariae are not required to be lawful in alignment, they just have to adhere to the rules of conduct set by Tahariae. My own cleric is chaotic-good.
  4. Currently it is not our policy to snub creator clerics OOCly. The reason I myself would prefer you to be capped at t3, is because the powers of a T5 are discussed frequently, particularly the regeneration of limbs. Current difficulty ranges from coma-inducing to currently impossible without a method the Council of Light is currently trying to to understand the limits of RPly, and develop OOCly in a fair and balanced manner. As such, it's difficult to give a straight answer on what the average cleric, even T5, is capable of. As for the removal of the power to draw on the Creator Cleric, I'd like to quote you once again. Clerics of Tahariae are divided into three, rply unofficial, designations that determine how far in the magic they progress. As of a recent restructuring following the reinstatement of the Council of Light, only the priests, who do -not- get war cleric, reach T5. Those priests that obtain it automatically fall outside my own purview and into a different council member's, losing the capacity to hit T5 healing. Those that have already hit would most likely see a bump down in tier. You say you want to just be healers, with no battle magic, and we can certainly provide you with that opportunity. This is exactly what Priests of Tahariae are. They are not warriors, but pure healers. Granted you would change patrons and have to abide by our rules, which are fairly nonforgiving in that once you are disconnected, you are permanently so. We also do not restrict them from carrying and being proficient with weapons, either.
  5. Not sure how this would work absent the Angel of Purity, but a Priest of Tahariae can use clerical healing to heal to detect the impurity of taint by attempting to heal. If there is any taint present, some very intense agony for the tainted will result. This would likely not work with the Creator as a patron, though, given that tainted does not necessarily mean evil. Take for instance Daniel Kamura. he, for whatever reason, had taint on him the one time I performed a heal on him. Despite being an Itharel, he suffered intense agony as his flesh knit back together, rather than the usual painless fixing. Blue and Orange Morality, not Black and White.
  6. Hi there! Ever since the Council of Light was reinstated, the Master Clerics, myself among them, have made it a point to not be stingy with the magic, not at all! The only difference is that we do not currently openly recruit, instead preferring to do so behind closed doors, letting it be done as we're approached RPly! With healing magic in particular, people are welcomed with open arms! As two former creator clerics will attest, I am in fact quite willing to take them in ICly and "Taharianize " them! Just not that much of a fan of guild threads for these types of organizations =) P.S. Love the guild lock, can we have that made lore official? My biggest problem with Creator Clerics was the lack of oversight, very glad to see this is a thing!

  8. Lenia "the Blessed" Ith'ael. Name: Lenia Ith'ael Nicknames: Charlotte Charl Charlie "The Blessed" "Fleur de Wallport" Age: 23 Gender: Female Race: Mali'thill Status: Alive Description Height: 6'1" Weight: 145 Body Type: Banana Eyes: Violet Hair: Silver Skin: Pale Markings/Tattoos: Scorpion scar above her left breast. Health: Healthy Personality: Charlotte de Silvarois is a kind, compassionate young woman. Throughout her young life she has been quite shy, prone to swing from joy to fear at the slightest touch of a stranger. While this has mellowed significantly in recent years, it can still lead her to burst into tears if pressured by those she does not know. She has little, if any modesty, and is quite diligent when she takes a task upon herself. Artifacts: The mirror of the Watcher - A mirror with beautiful elven-esque carvings precisely and finely made upon the back. Words artfully adorn the mirror itself, "Sometimes it's not just the things you break, but the things you have to repair." Tahariae's Light - At first glance it appears to be a long, heavy shaft rising 8 feet into the air with what appear to be gilded steel antlers coming out of the sides about 3 feet down making it look somewhat like a S-shaped Cross. It is made of a hard, black Ebony wood and banded in gilded steel and leather conservatively in a double helix. A twist of the wrist could undo the top of the staff revealing a blade of 3 feet with a cross guard of the aforementioned antlers, revealing the weapon’s existence as a sword staff. The blade is in a flamberge style and is forged so that the steel folds in on itself in a way to produce bands of ferrite and cementite giving it a wave like appearance in the blade, like the ripples in a pond, and giving it unique strength. The fuller of the blade is gilded in gold and that continues down into the banding. stolen, presumed destroyed. Signature History Lenia Ith'ael, Daughter of Azatae Ith'ael, was born to her and Jeremiah di Silvari, in the Anthosian wilds. Jeremiah, while only there for a short time, had an Auvergnian name for her carved into a red rose pendant, and cherished her dearly. However, under extenuating circumstances left to him due to his cousin, Adam di Silvari, he was forced to abandon his wife and Lenia, seeking the pardon so they could have a better life, away from the wilds. It is unknown what name she was left with, besides the one of Auvergnian origin Jeremiah left inscribed upon the pendant, Charlotte. Shortly after Jeremiah's exodus, Azatae and Lenia were attacked in the Chateau, with Azatae being brutally beaten and Lenia being kidnapped, only one year old, to be sold off as a child slave by Orenian bandits in crude white rose tabards. She was bought and freed at the auction by a mali'ame couple, Celia, and Fiyem, growing up with them in Malin'or and elsewhere, sheltered from the violence of the world that would attempt to kill her. Her parentage was unknown, but speculated to be half-elven. Thus, no family member stepped forth to claim her, no high elf to restore her to her people. She instead grew up among wood elves, nevermind that they acted more like Valah. Lenia never seemed to get into much trouble, seemingly abhorring the evil ways of the world, as if they were anathema to her, something that gave her bullies ammunition against her. When she finally began to speak at age five, she did so with a stutter that only worsened as she grew, the acid tongues of the mali'ker and mali'ame children reducing her to a sobbing wreck of a child for being so different. She became introverted, and almost mute, unwilling to speak except in front of her family, obtaining a very soft voice that would plague her the rest of her life. At age fifteen, Lenia stole away from her abode, desiring to see the world she was so sheltered from, unaware that bullies were only the tip of what awaited her out there. She found her way to the Cloud Refuge, preparing to depart into Oren when she was waylaid by Gathius di Silvari, a man she would later grow to love like a father. He saw something within her that reminded him of a cousin of his, the only di Silvari with a heart untouched by the avarice the lines of Charles di Silvari were so infamous for. He decided to offer her shelter in his Barony, quickly deducing that she was Azatae's daughter, and coming to the conclusion that she was Jeremiah's. It was then she truly felt loved and accepted, the di Silvari accepting her outright as one of their own. It was during this stay, that William Vekon chanced upon her in a meeting, seeing something within her that went deeper than what any di Silvari saw. He saw that she was one in whom great clerical potential lay in wait. Cautiously, he began to subtly trial her, refusing to even hint that he was a Cleric, until he had judged her worthy. With his assistance, she connected to Tahariae on her sixteenth birthday, her destiny forever intertwined with his, though neither knew this was quite as monumental as it turned out to be. Shortly after this, her life took a turn, for the worse. She encountered the man who subtly ordained the destruction of the barony Silvaria, the desmene of the Silvari in Elysium. She encountered Marcus Briarwood. He soon wooed her innocent and trusting heart, somehow retaining it even after the knowledge of this ended Gathius' life. He soon gave her a ring in the Southeron tradition, pledging himself to her in marriage, the family reluctantly consenting, until a jealous Mia let it be known that she intended to let her hand be defended by any who shared in the Scorpion's Blood. Lenia couldn't handle it anymore, blind as she was, and committed to eloping with her thought-to-be true love, only to mysteriously wake up in Wallport, informed of his death. It was after this, that she fell into a void of depression, refusing to eat, laying in bed all day, hugging her purebred dalmatian puppy forlornly. It was then, Mia used her wiles to manipulate her out of the depression, fearing she might lose the will to live. They grew close as sisters in the period that followed, leading some darkly cynical di Silvari to think of something worse, although their slander was never proven true. The Harbinger Absolution made his appearance the day after she escaped her depression, striking with vigour to slay the entire household, only to be defeated as he overfocused upon her, fleeing to the North to reconstitute itself. These were only the opening notes in the symphony that would be between Lenia and the Harbinger Absolution, him using illusions that strangely relied on memories she had of Marcus, being revealed in an arrogant gesture as he lured her into a false sense of security, seemingly being killed by a simple holy heal. Lenia would grow cheerful in his absence, growing strongly in her gifts, until a fateful meeting occured, one she would curse for the rest of her days, one that altered her course, forever. It turned out she was not, Tali'valah as supposed, but pure-blooded Mali'aheral, with quite a large family. Janos Ith'ael, had found her. For some reason known only to her, she went with this great-uncle of hers, but soon the walls closed in around her, as he proved to have a tongue sharper than meteorite iron. Who she was as a person, was destroyed, becoming a fearful and introverted little girl at the age of 19. Her fear of him grew so great, that after he threw her in a fit of rage, his very presence paralyzed her with fear. Her aunts and uncles, save for one, Mirabilis Mens Ith'ael, despised her, Janos' wife only loving her because she was the child she couldn't have had. It was during this time she met Caelria Maehrindor, a Mali'aheral who tutored her in the ways of their people, the only Mali'aheral to ever show her kindness and affection for just being who she was. Little did he know, that it was he, who kept her from suicide. She was soon empowered as a Master Cleric, given over to the leadership of the Clerical Order with Mandru Vonschlichten, and Jakir Axem. She would drift away from her mentor, and soon be gifted with the greatest powers of Tahariae's Chosen, the powers of the War Cleric. She became fast friends with Mandru Vonshlichten, teaching and connecting a wayward elf by the false name of Primrose. She would remain quite idle during this period, aimlessly drifting, until the Golden Lance appeared, and opened the portal to a realm known, as the Fringe. Seizing on the opportunity, she began construction of a Temple to Tahariae in the town of Montefleur, unaware of what troubles the new lands would bring to her, and the people she cared about... Shortly thereafter the pages turn, and a blank page of history is yet to be written... Artwork
