Example: Good- Attempts to stab the man Bad- Flies up and stabs the man in the heart In-Character Information: Complete the following biography on your character: Full Name: Harold Ducher Current Age: 22 Sub-race (if any): Northener Past / History (include childhood, major-events, etc. 2+ paragraphs long): Harold came from a very humble beginning, living in the north it was hard for his family living past the wall of Hanseti. He was born from a guard of the town and the runner of the town ale house. Being born quickly after there marriage they decided to name there son ‘Harold’ after the town priest who had brought the two of them together. But the town was soon run out by barbarians of the south not seen by the nobles behind the great wall of Hanseti. With the uproar in the town Harold was lost just as the Hanseti forces came in to defend the human town. One of the Hanseti guards saw the boy, bringing him with him to the south. The Hanseti guard brought the boy to the Church of Salvus where a Friar took him under his wing, giving him a home, and place to live. The Early part of his life was not much important he was stuck at the church training to one day become a priest as he watched from the windows the lives of the people of the city. No one knew the name of Harold as he was very shy and did not feel as though he fit in the community around him. This all changed when a knight came to the chapel looking for the Friar but Harold was the only one there. He had a lengthy talk with the knight that set him apart from this shy past: “Harold”- Hello sir, I apologize but our Friar is not here at the moment. “Knight”- Hmm where was he off to? “Harold”- I believe he was speaking with the King about a new church being made. “Knight”- Wonderful, what is your name? “Harold”- I-I am Harold, I live here under the Friar. “Knight”- Aye yes a wonderful place to grow in, I had a beginning quite the same. “Harold”- Really? Then how are you a knight now? “Knight”- I didn’t let my beginning take me down, I decided to make myself change. “Harold”- Thank you kind Ser come by anytime. “Knight”- Aye have a good day. There was a change in the teenage Harold that he had never seen coming the term coined by the knight “Making a name for yourself.” This is what he would do in the coming years. He began to befriend the knight and train with him in the goal of becoming a guard and one day become the squire of the knight keeping his faith behind him as a weapon of his soul. But this all changed with the death of the knight. One day Harold was standing outside the knight’s house it seemed odd as the lights were out and the house silent. Harold walked up the steps to the medium sized home as he knocked on the door- with no answer he looked in the window to see his rolemodle laying on the ground in a ball, blood soaking into the carpet. Harold began to yell “Help! Help” the shields quickly came as they went in looking at the crime scene. His push on life came to a halt as he went back to his old way of life, enjoying the silence of the church and watching the lives of the citizens of his home. But this would not work out for him, nearing the age of 20 he felt the urge and strive that the knight once spoke to him about on his own. A strive to do good for those around him and his city, even nation at large. And this was the start of his journey. Ambitions for the Future: He wished to become a guard or some military position to defend Oren or other kingdoms within it. Perhaps one day he will have the power and strength behind him to become a knight, like the true one who changed his life who has taken him to where he is today. Personality: Rather timid and enjoys watching others communicate with one another. Wants to defend those around him who are important and will take orders from those who do the right thing. Skills: He is holy and decent with a blade, learning some things from the knight but not nearly good enough to be called a ‘good swordsman’. Whilst in the mighty human capital you notice a dark-clothed figure stealthily making his way towards the Emperor’s palace - he is clearly up to no good. There are guards within shouting distance - what do you do? *Harold narrows his eyes as he sees the hooded man going towards the Emperor's palace. He blinks a few times not sure what to make of it, but as he turns around to look over his shoulder he sees a group of guards in the distance. Harold runs over speaking with them rather quickly* "That man over there is looking very creepy and is going towards the Emperor's Palace!" *The guards draw there blades as they join Harold to go run after the man. Harold approaches the man* "What the feck are ye doing?" *the stealthy man turns to grin to the guards, he begins to run for it* * Harold yells* "Get him!" *running after him with the guards they quickly capture and apprehend the threat. 2. Whilst wandering in the deep oak forest you come across a large clearing, in which sits a small cobbled cottage. Outside it stands an unstable old man armed with a small iron blade, surrounded by two heavily armed bandits - they appear to be threatening him. You are armed with leather armour. *Harold jumps out of the woods after seeing the bandits attempt to rob the told man as he yells* "The guards are coming ye better run." *The bandits turn to eachother as they look at him with fright, afriad of the guards that may be coming* "L-Let's get outta here!" *Harold grins as he comes over and helps the old man up* *the old man looks up to him and speaks softly* "Thank you kind sir, you may want to call the guards off now." *Harold smiles as he speaks to the old man* "They ain't even coming I just was scarin em off!" 3. You approach the stall and notice that the man is selling a variety of general goods - he says that he is selling just about anything and that he has no set prices.
