Have you read and agreed to the rules?: - Yes What’s your favourite rule / the rule you agree with the most?: - Metagaming; there has been many instances in the past were I have listed my lore outside of the server, but many people somehow magically know everything about me without me having said anything to anyone. Definitions What is roleplaying?: - The art of roleplaying is taking on the attributes of a fictional character by living out and developing the life and story of said character. The player will have the ability to express there in creativeness and emotions in the character a way they could not achieve in the real world. What’s metagaming?: - Metagaming is talking to a friend or comrade outside of the game, (E.g; Facebook or Skype) giving them information that their character would have had no in game knowledge of. This does not follow the fundamental rules of physics because they cannot pull information out of the space time continuum. What’s powergaming?: - Powergaming is when you defy the laws of physics in game, a very common example of this is swimming or running with a full set of iron armor on. This is very unrealistic because in real life these task would be virtually impossible to do in a full set of iron armor because it is extremely heavy. Another form of powergaming is when you give your character an overpowered ability for the sake of personal benefit (Using a unstop-able power relentlessly) this is the worst type of powergaming in my opinion because it is what ruined my last roleplaying server, everyone had a different unlimited-use, instant-kill, un-doge-able ability where as I would use a dagger because i was poor and a it was lore-full. I would prefer to give player a chance when I fought e.g. Swings sword. and leave them to react to this as they choose. What sex are they?: - Male How old are they?: - 18 Give us a brief description of their life - their story, childhood, family (Include server lore when writing): - Shaorin Azazel was born somewhere in a village in the North although he cannot remember much of his family; this is because when he was five years old his mother and his father were killed in a village raid. Many people in his village were killed, leaving few. Two of the survivors were Shaorin, and his brother Yenorin (matthew199876312); at this time his brother was eight therefore he was not old enough to take care of his brother. When soldiers from the city of New Abresi came to the villages aid. The soldiers evacuated the survivors to the city and Shaorin and his brother were sent to the local orphanage. This is were Shaorin and his brother (Yenorin) spent the majority of there life (eight Years), When Shaorin was there he was bullied by the other kids and found that the only place he felt at home was the library, This is where his love of books come in play he would come to library everyday he would go there to read, It was one day at the age of 7 that he discovered a book about a mercenary avenger, in the story a group of mercenaries was attacked and killed with the exception of two, one escaped and the other was captured, This is where he learnt the phrase "There is no more worthy a risk than the risk to save a friend", He lives his life by this code, and thus would do anything for his friend and brother Yenorin also he may have stole a copy of the hidden scroll Natures gift simply because he liked it. After 8 years at the orphanage Yenorin was able to leave and legally take Shaorin with him and thus they did, Now they wander from city to city picking up odd jobs and working late just to make enough to eat and sleep for the night. The only celebration he takes part in is Red rose day and he always gives his rose to his brother. What are they like (personality)?: -Although Shaorin may act like he doesn't care if people hate him, he actually is very sensitive, he just doesn't know how to react to them, this is why he sounds "Peeved" allot of the time but that's just his way. He moves in a kind of feminine way and with allot of attitude. What are their ambitions?: - To own a vast collection of book in a library and have enough money to not have to work all the time. Do they have any special skills?: -He find remembering vast amount of knowledge simple (Modern terms: Photo graphic memory) and he is a fast and deadly fighter with his dual Tanto's. What are their weaknesses?: - Socially he is not very good, he has a fear of confrontation which is quite a poor trait. He is although not too strong this isn't too much of a problem due to his speed. He also wears a dark woolen shirt that is quite tight fitting, A white duster with dark blue highlights along with backpack to match that carries his supplies, with this he also wares a pair of Dark Blue finger-less leather gloves.
