do whatever bro @squakhawk but if players are expected to act as if they're affected by an eventline they must be affected by it in game. i wasn't made aware of paladins asking for help, one guy showed up and i said "why should i" and they didn't give a good answer. no idea wtf pancho did because nobody said anything about it. seems like the paladins didn't do a very good job of convincing people they were worthy of help and suffered for it in roleplay

the average human has never had a single interaction with xan or azdrazi or whatever, they probably don't even know what they are beyond the surface level. if these groups/ST want us to care they should make us care, it's not our job to go metagame all the forum posts.

like realistically if this is supposedly some world altering event its affects shouldnt just be the end of paladins (a small subset of players) and the buffing of azdrazi (another small group) in addition to a few world emotes, and a few events locked to small areas. this age of the dragon stuff sounds cool since its a change to the world that we can interact with and it's something i do plan to get haense as a whole involved in

also you can get nations to care about this kinda stuff without besieging them and destroying things, that's definitely an option but a genuine effort to include us in the story, as well as a few minor encounters here and there, will go a long way
