Have you had any bans or strikes? If yes give a link:
Sadly, yes and I'm really shamed of it... I'll link the ban appeal. https://www.lordofthecraft.net/topic/115108-onm224-ban-appeal-piston-bug-abuse-i-think-it-was-a-confusion/?hl=onm224
Why do you want to be a builder for the ET?
Because I've been in the server for a while now, and I really want to contribute to its development. I consider myself a good builder, and I would improve a lot with the other builders if I was given the chance.
What are some of your most treasured builds? (screenshots if possible):
I would say that my most treasured builds are usually the ones that look best, independently of the time I've spent on them. Some of my most treasured builds are in this post
What MMORPG/video games do you play?
I basicly play minecraft (wrynncraft, lotc, others...) but I did play other games a long time ago, like drakensang.
Please provide screenshots of any medieval builds strictly you have built and a description of each:
The interior of the Caslte of House Proudfoot (Next to the orcs, build in survival)
- That shows how you can make an interior look good even in survival with few resources.
Council chamber in a Northern City (lotc - Athera). This was supposed to be built on top of a very ugly building in an old city in the north.
I like the pillars because they are different from the regular ones. Using stone walls make them look thinner.
Please provide an example of a decent sized ruin build (stone or otherwise):
I was part fo the snow elves in the fringe and Thales, so I started building with ice and quartz. I've built a lot more of ruins with stone but I don't have screenshots and I doubt it would be something it would show my building skills.
Please provide an example of terraforming:
This is a half built map (not finished, but you get the idea)
Please provide an example of a organic build:
MY SPECIALTY! (as well as terraforming, but sadly I don't have screenshots of that... you could ask me to do something maybe ;))
Please provide an example of a High fantasy build:
Are you an independent builder, and are you capable of handling all aspects of a build?
I only built in a building team once and I had a lot of fun... but most of the time I build alone
Do you know much about redstone?
I'm not really good at it, but I learn fast :)
How long does it take for you to complete a build?
Depending on its size, but mostly like an hour or so, I would say I buid very /fast/
Tell us how you plan on constructing a large build, a medium build, and a small build.
[before YOU BUILD SOMETHING YOU MUST CHOOSE THE MATERIALS, THOSE ARE THE ONLY ONES YOU'LL USE!]
Try to combine them. Plain builds are ugly...
Small Build (environment already built)
1. Think of the main piece (Look for inspiration in the internet for example) and decide of which materials it should be built of, considering it's surroundings.
2. Build it.
3. Integrate in the environment.
Small Build (environment not built yet)
1. Think of the main piece (Look for inspiration in the internet for example) and decide of which materials it should be built of.
2. Build it.
3. Start building its surroundings like the floor, combining different materials...
4. Keep integrating the build in the environment.
Medium Build
Same procedure of a small build but the /prebuilding/ takes much longer.
1. Terraform
2. use wool for marking where everything will go
3. Start building each piece by separate
4. Finish building the environment
5. Integrate each build with the environment and the other builds.
Large Build
Exactly the same procedure as the medium builds, but I have to think a lot more about the variety in it, because some times they can be very repetitive.
Additional details (Do you know how to Voxel? World Edit? Craftbook? Etc...):
Better with voxel than with World Edit, but I know how to use both.
Tell me a trick about building (eg: floating torches, custom heads)
It may sound pretty obvious but some people seem to not keep in mind this: BUILD LOGIC (even in fantasy builds, use fantasy Logic ._.)
If you build a pillar, put some stairs on it or something! It'll make it more detailed and beautiful :3
EXTRA TRICK
With voxel, build icy mountains with gravel (the gravel falls making everything more realistic, you don't get the spheres of WE), then replace the gravel with ice. Finally use the command for replacing the 3 blocks of the surface with snow. Then you get a #%$! mountain.
Tell me what you want from the ET.
Make sure all unfilthy pumpkins end up eating melons in pumpkin hell... I mean, improve my building skills and have a good time, yes... >:3
