So, this past august I returned to LOTC to find it enjoyable. Ileft again for a while and have returned shortly today. It's back to the way it was. THe first thingthat happened was I met a troll in OOC chat who came across my golem account and accused me of not being accepted because my race was not set to golem. Saying Im not accepted, and that I dont look like a golem beccause he cant see my core. I later realised as he confessed that he was doing this hjust to make me angry. WHat made me more upset, was that this was in OOC chat, and other players were telling me to stop being so rude, and that I shouldnt begetting so agitated. Even though Im simply defending myself from this barrage of idiocracy, they all treated me as the transgressor. I remember now why I left.

I am unimpressed LOTC.. I am mildly unimpressed. And very upset.

I'm in a fairly similar situation as far as leaving for a time because of issues with players and a lack of good rp, but I have found that the server has significantly improved on this front in nearly every way. I think it might be a bit hasty to assume that one heated in-counter is representative of the whole server, but Iย can understand the frustration.ย

In response to Smaw: As a roleplayer who expects more out of one's experience, I was expecting someone to have at least helped. If you were there, you are also just as rude as the transgressor, because I saw no aid from anyone. I am not as upset about the player trolling me as I am the other uninvolved players who were joining in and only making the situation worse by telling me to calm down instead of telling him to shut up.

Im 5 months pregnant, I can't entirely help that it's a tad easier to make me angry right now. However I get that nobody knew that, I'm just making that statement in my defense. Though I shouldn't even have to defend myself in the first place, since I was the victim.

Im more unimpressed with LOTC's -handling- of these situations than I am with the fact that they happen. No staff member stopped it, and as far as I was aware, there weren't any present in the first place. This is where I feel LOTC is lacking. Bullying and "trolling" on the server -can- be stopped, the size of the server does not matter. The staff team just seems unmotivated to work for that. This of course, not coming from this single event, but rather the many I've had in the past as well.
