This is bullshit! The “Upper Management” not only stomped all over the Event that so many players were happy and excited over, but at the end we get a bullshit ending that was scripted and the ONE GOOD THING that people were happy with they voided. What the hell?!

@yopplwasupxxx 10-15 people shouldn’t be invalidated because someone else has a higher activity count, not only this but i’m surprised to see you looking away from the fact of us quite actively listening to people with rewrites, going forward, and one thing kept to NLs for the time and another releasing tomorrow or so, directly involving and directly incorporating player input opinion outlook and idea upon how things should go.
You maybe aren’t around to see it, maybe you neglect to, but that does not change the fact that it is there regardless- I lean more toward the latter with your opening statement.

@SquakHawk So the hundreds of players from the countless nations, villages, and other groups shouldn’t even be considered for the sake of a minority? Again, you are missing the point of what I am saying- focusing on all these rewrites of magick or these random Aengudaemons are honestly not the best use of time management. The Lore Team (in my honest opinion) should be more focused on actually recording to the PLAYER-MADE LORE AND HISTORY that is done nearly everyday on this server. The countless player-driven wars, events, and other affairs have always had more influence on the playerbase as a whole than any magick rewrite has EVER had.
There is a lot more to ‘lore’ than just magick rewrites.

@yopplwasupxxx
thats why we’ve tackled(and tackling) gods
thats why we’ve tackled materials and craftsman rp
thats why we’re tackling techlock
thats why we’re tackling ecosystems, lore areas, bestiary
I don’t know why you target a sect of what we do so specifically, we aren’t just onesighted, we don’t focus on aengudaemons, we do focus on magic and we focus on other things aswell. Playermade lore and history is something that you seem to be misconstruing, making a fallacy within that sentence-
player made
players can make that
players make that
that is why the wiki exists, that is why lore submissions exist, that is why our lore revolves and involves current history and characters with things specifically like alchemy and tech submissions, and soon to be techlock
Mordu and I discussed last week how Canonism has had a greater effect on the server than any other lorepiece, and it has, yet;
would you want us writing canonism? Making it a diety? Making it a legitimate impact that can be influenced by others?
No, not at all, and it stays that way- player made lore is player made, and I admire canonism for being a beacon of a pinnacle of roleplay that should be strived toward. We encourage and hook players into these types of things so that tehy can build counterparts and things like it, and that is our goal and drive.
We are not secluded to our own sect, nor do we cater specifically to other players, you may choose to listen to or continue to not but I insist on saying that you’re focusing in on one specific aspect of what we do, likely due to a crowd setting- I know people who say the very things you have, any while it has basis in validation, it has no truth behind it. If you would like to discuss such I would be willing to, and if you’ve ideas on improvement where valid or not-already-existing, then I would be glad to hear them, I am not at all against you nor am I arguing, I am merely just saying how I view things from the inside and how things are on my end. If transparency is an issue, that is something I have actively been working on my communicating with NLs regarding changes rather frequently, and open discussion on otherwise closed off projects.
