"To back down now, to uproot our stability and to cast out strength in this very moment of imperative action would be the greatest tragedy and crime against all that is High Elven kind. Though this particular event where the King of Oren was indeed slain by the bubbling acids reserved for those who insult us in the most heinous of manners is one that has caused great worrying and cause to question what will become of Haelun'or in the near future; It is not an opportunity to implant oneself in a position of ultimate authority as a means of achieving a retraction to what has undoubtedly happened.
The late Oren King had given us the option of death as slaves or death with dignity. He banked on the assumption that we Elves are too passive as to ever defy his outlandish orders and that we would simply roll over while he marched his armies into our city and set up shop. He aimed to occupy our sacred grounds, become privy to our sacred knowledge and to essentially assimilate us into a Human existence. One of us had the guts to act, and the rest of us should stand by that decision no matter what.
Now is the time to stay united and to bring into the fold all of our pure brothers and sisters. Making a change to the Sohaer would accomplish little but bring about the passive annihilation of our species at the hands of a grieving race. Stand tall and with dignity that we are sovereign and we are strong. It was all of us that created this state but it was Kalenz who guided us to it.
Progress, purity and even life are in the capable hands of Kalenz Uradir and I would very much like to keep it that way- you should too, for there is none who posses the characteristics, traits and skills necessary to accomplish this most daunting task than he.
Kaean'leh thilln chul'okarae"
