What is role playing?: Role playing to me is taking on the "persona" and complete mindset of a fictional or nonfictional being. For example, "role playing" as a beggar looking to be wealthy, or directing an army as a great general riddled with depression; these are both instances where role play is used.
What is meta gaming?: Meta gaming (something I especially don't like) is using information that your character has absolutely no way of knowing. An example of this is; finding a players location through a stream and sending a group of friends to go kill him, without a real role play reason.
What is power-emoting (power gaming)?: Power-emoting is where something that happens with two or more players, is forced by an individual within that set of players. A prime example of this is during a combat event one of the players involved says something that forces the action of another, or maybe when shopping and a character says *Nick sells Chest Piece for 50 Minas*

I was born 11th of Snow Maiden, 1541, just after Orean army began their siege on the last Dwarven hold of Uruguan of Avar, the Grandaxe Keep. My parents, Avodon and Katrina Nyle pilgrims attempting to find a better life, due to the harshness of the Orean Empire. Retreated from the surrounding wilds and sadly came back to Krinfird. A little while after that I turned 4, while my parents where only farmers they tried to please me and my brother, Erik, although we had some money, it was never enough to afford better living conditions. My mother eventually died from a plague that she had been slowly suffering from. Even though she was emotionally and mentally sick, she still worked for the benefit of her family. My father soon after fell into a deep depression, but one day was murdered by a petty thief.
Since then I have bounced from home to home, with my brother. Not all the houses where good but some taught me much needed skills so that I wouldn't perish in a harsh and cruel world. My brother, Erik has also
taught me much needed skills, even when he was a servant for Leo, Ex-Barren of Donwych, he still found time to take care of his little brother. But soon after Leo died, Erik was given the homestead that Leo had
resided in. It has been awhile, longer than I can even remember. All I can scavenge from that past is some where along the way a mentor taught me his knowledge of a few things, including Archery, which I shortly
after became highly proficient in. Now we are in present day, I still live with my brother Erik, in a small two-story homestead right next to Kraken's Watch, in Courland. (P.S. for some reason it messed up some of the different elements of the words, and i couldn't find a way to fix it with the GUI, sorry.)
Personality Traits: (what are your character's quirks?; habits?; likes and dislikes?) Stutters every once in awhile, really, really afraid of spiders, will help people but there has to be some reward in it that can be something rather than money. Courageous, Humble, Kind, Witty, Immature, Understanding, Reasonable.
Ambitions: (what does your character aspire to be?) To eventually be much higher in the social hierarchy.
Strengths/Talents: (what is your character really, really good at?) Great story teller, skilled in archery, very sociable and persuasive.
Weaknesses/Inabilities: (what is a skill that your character needs to work on?) Not very strong, but makes up for it in intelligence. Isn't the best swimmer but manages. Fear of disgracing the family
