Cher’s name: Friedwald von Königsberg
Character’s sex: male
Character’s race: human
Character’s age: 25
Biography: Friedwald was born to a somewhat rich merchant family in Johannasburg, and was afforded an education by the clergy, learning things like reading and writing from an early age. Friedwald would often listen to his grandfather and older brother ramble about elves and their massive egos, cementing in Friedwald a hefty disgust towards elves. When Fiedwald entered into his early teenage years, he took intrest in the family trade. Friedwald would often ask his father for money, using it to buy toys and resell them to his friends at a higher price, which he became fairly good at before the city guard found out who was buying goods for resale, which was forbidden for the kind of toys he was bartering for. Ultimately he wasn't charged, but he was certainly embarrased. His father, on the other hand, was very proud of his son, and decided to take him under his wing and fully teach him the trade. From that day on Friedwald would accompany his father in the markets, observing him as he makes deals with the people of the city.
Friedwald packed his bags, heading back to Johannesburg by caravan, bringing back many of the goods he had accumulated but had yet to sell in Linandria. It was early in the morning in Johennasburg, only a few days after he had returned, when he heard shouting coming from the locked gates of the city. He approached the shouting and screaming to his horror, for what he saw truly shocked him and his brother who was already there watching the event. A party of halflings, all with carved pumpkins donned, covering their faces. It wasn't long before he could make sense of their battlecrys, "Pumpkin democracy!" they shouted. Traitors to the empire, liberal scum protesting against the crown. As his brother shouted at them in alarm, he watched as the guards surrounded the bunch. A noble imperial atop a white horse did shout at the crowd; "DISPERSE OR FACE CAPITAL PROSECUTION." The democratic crusaders raised their shovels, giving another cry at the guard, some even sitting themselves down. It was clear they weren't going to move anytime soon. The guardsmen raised their weapons, their captain counting down from 10 before the slaughter began. The guards charged into the rioters, cutting down few, but missing many. The halflings screamed in horror as they fled, clearly they were not prepared for a fight. Friendminge remember's seeing them scatter in all directions, some to the legion camp, and others down the roads, even one jumping off the bridge to avoid being cut down by a guard. Many of the images are burnt into his mind, the horrors and screams of the men, but inside, he understands it had to be done.
