what unwillingly said. slice of life itself is not the issue, it is the people who embase themselves in perpetual sol and spurn anything that threatens their peaceful barbie world existence. It is not an us against them or sol against conflict issue, but the necessity to ensure a balance between the two.

If sol is as lifeblood to the server, conflict is the heart that arbitrates stories and keeps it from dying.

yeah I’m not as much of an expert as you are but that doesn’t answer my take at all. How is an inhibited system of combat with only so many combinations more goon-oriented than another that relies on abusable mouse-mashing, especially when the click speeds in the latter can vary by more than twice or thrice the amount?

What can I possibly glean from the fact that it clicks and has a cooldown? Please, help me out here, because I can only imagine so many options for pvp in literally minecraft.

To level with you, this isn’t a debate anymore, just do me the courtesy of conveying your vague but very obvious stand-point which you still refuse to detail so that next time I’m not as ignorant of the intricate way of minecraft mechanics.

I still have an idea of what it entails. And I’m sure you can do better to address my uninformed standpoint than that, because insulting my self-awareness is just vile. How the **** can you do that, huh?

I can’t speak from experience as I’ve never tried out 1.9 myself, but I know it has cooldowns, and from what I’ve experienced through 1.8 myself I can’t really say I trust players not to abuse the practically unhindered clicking system. I don’t know how 1.9 hacked clients work but unless cooldowns can be exploited without detection, I still think it poses the better alternative.

@argonian With 1.8 the stupid skill gap in a pixel game is too ******* wide and there still is the great contingency for auto-clickers, which are easily accessible and as easily hidden from oversight. With 1.9 everybody is equally useless, the gap is much smaller and auto-click does not avail as with the prior iteration. The server in any case should prioritize rp, and I think equalizing goons with people who don’t want to put up with daily practice (because they want to roleplay in an RP server) by an equal limit of hits is the way to go.

good company, with regard to consequence and the heart to take on the full burden of a loss.

unironically an ooc preliminary is at times key to enjoyable roleplay, for a single ooc confliction is on its own enough to bring it all down.

few players are of the willingness to let go their fantasy characters anymore, so it’s no small wonder that good roleplay is seldom come upon

I missed her status comment, not the doxxing. I was admittedly implicit in the toxicity and I’ll apologize for that but my quarrel lies in me being falsely accused of doxxing or looking up her twitter. I barely play this server and I don’t personally know emma, why would I bother?

and I don’t remember discussing anything with you. our interaction was minimal.

people have said far worse and gotten away with it. she was in a chat that made fun of holocaust victims, trivialized tragedies and mocked slavery, but an insult in a private chat in which she wasn’t even present is suddenly the worst somebody can do to another? I was among the ethnic minorities horribly insulted and I didn’t stir up a fuss.

edit: @dumbblondeelf missed that. I didn’t scour your twitter or make fun of your brother, that I took no part in and don’t condone. You weren’t targetted out of spite or personal hatred; and neither Skylez nor I bear ill-will towards you in kind. I appreciate your honesty.

the screenshots still prove nothing beyond calling her fat or commenting “lol”. It wasn’t me who made the memes, “doxxed” or acquired the screenshots, nor was it initially bullying or harassment because I never spoke to her or meant for my words to reach her – it was dark banter among friends in non-lotc discords until someone decided to pull the leak. It was unthoughtful, yes, but what I conveyed was a reserved opinion and toxic gossip at best. I’d apologize if the administration gave enough of a **** to take it up with the three of us and try and remedy the issue. I don’t even know emma on any level, let alone target or actively bully her
