Town of Salem is a pretty bomb and unique game for just $5 though. Coming from a guy that’s spent over $200 on the game, I have no regrets doing so.

Well as you spent 200$ it seems like you understand the game at its core, which makes the game easy and pleasent to play to you, but for me its hard to play since I got to think about every kind of situation and **** like that you know? 
But, bottom line, the game is damn good.

I only really play All Any mode when I feel like not having to think about that. Otherwise, I usually play Ranked. It's up to you if you want to play a type of game mode, and it's your call for which one you prefer. There's a game mode for everything, and you can make your own setups as the host of a game.
