-Do you have a good grip on the English language/good grammar?: When I can pull myself away from the enthralling grip of using Internet memes, yes, I'd say I have a good grip on the English language. I do, however, speak American English.

-Small 2-3 Sentence Description of yourself: During the day I go to school (not in summer, obviously) then spend my time at home (homework aside) playing guitar/uckelele, working on graphic design, and playing ultimate frisbee or skiing. In between this, I try to keep my playing habits to an hour or so a day. I live in the wonderfully small hamlet of Montpelier, Vermont.

-How much time could you be on the server weekly?: Again, I try to play but an hour a day, so sometimes a little more on the weekends, so about 8 hours a week.

-How long have you played Minecraft?: I've been playing Creative for a long time, but that doesn't really count. I've only played SMP/SSP (though rarely the latter) for about three months.

-What do you know about roleplaying?: I've been playing Dungeons and Dragons ever since the inception of 4th edition, and from playing characters, I understand what it means to really slip into the skin of a one. Even small things, like speech mannerisms and habits, I like to include so the character doesn't just look, but feels real.

-What do you expect this server will be like?: A huge, beautifully built world of nigh endless possibility. More simply put, a complete change from previous servers I've played on.

-What other server(s) have you played on and why did you leave them?: I have ventured far and deep into the world of Battlecraftia, and though I still participate on the forums doing design, the anything-goes attitude of the server really turned me off in the end.

-Have you read, understood, and agreed to the rules?: Yes. I appreciate their balance.

-Name the 4 races on this server: As I understand, the four "heroic" races are dwarves, elves, humans and orcs. I am led to believe there is more possibility.

-How did you hear about us?: The Battlecraft website.

In-Character:

-Character Name: Akkame

-What is your Race?: Human.

-Biography: The southerlands were never an easy place to live. Born to a widowed mother, his father killed while smuggling diamond, Akkame never learned the intricacies of society, never appreciated a "suitable" childhood. Instead, his days were spent exploring the wild, venturing through deep, winding caves, traveling over mountains and through ravines.

At the tender age of 16, Akkame was enlisted in his country's military. A strong healthy boy with a foul mouth, he was immediately sent north to quell minor uprisings. During one of these events, while pursuing a rebel group through dimly lit caverns, he came face-to-face with a creeper. It blew up, killing most of his party and blinding his right eye. The only other member that survived, the captain, told him the missions true purpose before taking to the hills: the creeper was planted, and he had been sent to die. His party was too volatile, and their services were no longer required by the emperor–Kowa Ai III.

Akkame wasn't surprised, and he ran off, left for dead, never to return. The distant, mythical kingdom of Aegis was his destination. A kingdom of law and order, of benevolence and equality. Further and further northward he went, never stopping to look back. He still wears the garb of the militia, a memento of his former kingdom.

-Character Age: 24. It has taken Akkame many years to reach Aegis.

-Character Appearance: Lean and dark in color, Akkame still wears the blood red and mandarin orange of his former kingdom, though he has lost his weapons.

-Character Personality: Rarely exposed to society, Akkame is reserved, and, though easy to trust, he rarely trusts others. He does not easily attack, though he is proficient with many a weapon.

-Your ambitions: Akkame has always wanted to enforce the law, given his strong, mayhap fierce sense of ethics. He has also pursued architecture as a hobby, given his love of all things beautiful.

-Can your character read or write?: To a point, though he is better in his native language.

-Can your character mine?: Never has Akkame wielded a pick, though he is a skilled traveler within mines.

-Are you a capable builder?: He can easily, and quickly create shelter, but is also an imaginative architect. Though he doesn't get tired easily, uninteresting projects can bore him.

-Can you wield a sword?: Very well, though he is better with a bow.

-Enjoy Farming?: Though a fully-grown plant is beautiful to Akkame, and he has nursed many a tree, days of waiting for crops bore him to tears. Perhaps one could teach him patience.

-Does your character have any special skills?: Other than surviving in the wild, not that we know of...

-Other Information: I have found this server is just what I was looking for, being a LotR nerd and role-playing fanatic! Thank you all for making one of my dreams a reality!
