Have you ever roleplayed before - if you have, how?: -  Yes I have i am meber on Lord Of The Rings Online, Dungeons and Dragons neverwinter and the Dungeons and dragons board games.

Have you been on any other roleplaying servers?: -  I have never got on a whitelist one as i had always thought applying was a waste of time but i soon realised it would e worth it. I have played non whitelist ones like massive craft but they do not feel like RP servers, to me.
Have you applied to this server before? (Please link past applications): - No

How did you hear about us?: -  I googled 'Minecraft RP servers 1.7.4' and Lotc sounded like the best one for me
What do you think the server will be like? -  I ahve seen youtubers play on it and i expect it to be much like that, going around adventuring and meeting new friends to play and adventure with.
Have you read and agreed to the rules?: -  Yes.
What’s your favourite rule / the rule you agree with the most?: -  The one about minecraft skins and that it should be appropriate. I cant stand it when people get nude/ out of role skins.

What is roleplaying?: -  Acting and speaking as if you were the character you are portraying 

What’s metagaming?: -  Using outside or known knowledge within a game for personal gain or an advantage.

What’s powergaming?: - Power gaming is playing a game just to increase your characters power and influence their character.

What race are they (and sub-race)?: -  Human, Northener

What sex are they?: -  Male

How old are they?: -  27

Give us a brief description of their life - their story, childhood, family (Include server lore when writing): -  He was born in Abresi but his parents, Alys Wintermere and Tavon Wintermere were killed in a fire raging through their house. Luckily, Talfen was able to escape and was forced to beg on the streets of  Abresi. He was then taken in by the local blacksmith, Artem Smith, who passed away when Talfen was 22. He brought his own house in Abresi and turned to the gods as a means of company. He became a follower of the Om'echan religion. He spent his days worshiping and teaching others blacksmithing. Once he was wondering around the regions of Aegis when he came across the town of Dunwood. It was Dunfest and there was a large celebration with ale and decorations everywhere. He saw people dancing to woodwind music and entertainers juggling fire rods. It sunk it to him that he was  lonely and the gods would not keep him company for ever. He bagan to search everywhere for a bride and a lover, but to this day he is still searching.

What are they like (personality)?: -  He is quite shy and has only a few friends, though they are close ones but can occasionally be very friendly or stubborn. He is very cautious and will and do things he knows how to do, he would not experiment and try something new.
 
What are their ambitions?: -  His primary ambition since he was a kid was to find out what caused the fire at his parents old house but as he grew older he wanted to break out of his boring life and adventure the realms of Aegis. This was a strange idea at first for him but he began to believe there was more to life than this. 

Do they have any special skills?: -  He is very skilled at blacksmithing as Artem had taught him alot in his spare time. He is average at melee fighting but has terrible aim with a bow, or any range weapon for a matter of fact.

What are their weaknesses?: -  He is terrible with a bow and  its not very fast due to be very chunky and moderately small for his race.  He also knows nothing of cooking or hunting.

Give us a description of how they look (not a screenshot yet!)?: -  He is round about 5' 11" with dark brown hair. He is mainly seen around with a green tunic with thin ,self made, chain mail underneath. He wears brown trousers and has stubble around his mouth. His eyes are blue and he wears a gloves as he usually has blisters from smithing. He wears slight armor as he is always very anxious.

Anything else you want to say about them?: -  He is good and would never attack a civilian unless they attacked first. He is a proud gambler and owns a pet wolf.
