I Need Help Installing The Mod

Okay so here is what i do, i like installing mods manually, i download forge universal.jar, install it, i then change the folder and note pad, then i drop the optifine files from the jar into forge.jar (It says if you want to install forge with optifine,even for 1.6.2 and above to install like 1.5.2) than i drop shaders and more player models into mods foldor in the .minecraft foldor i then try to run the modded minecraft version in the new launcher and it does not launch the game , it closes than opens withen a split sec., so if some one could just send me a download link to download a moded minecraft so i can play the server with the mods i am trying to get this all situaited before i join

I might be wrong, but I thing Forge is currently not compatible with optifine.

If what you said was true i can only install either,forge and more player models, or optifine and shaders,?
