DruinsBane 240 Share Posted August 5, 2014 Chosen Interactions & Conflict Diversity We as a community are split, cities, villages and groups conform to different role-play ques and ideologies. Certain role-play may be frowned upon in one or more areas and the next may endorse, even mechanics fall under this rule of thumb. Now this even carries on into the forums, we are a split community, now this isn't about whose fault it is but what we have. When two groups or parties meet they are bound to harbour differences, this isn't a bad thing that's half the fun. But what if they are so different they can't cooperate. problems, arguments, ban reports. Solution If a group has a preference (example) for role-play or PVP and they interact with another that has the opposing, the outcome is easily witnessed in the ban-report section. When you have the choice pursue groups with mutually shared views. Of-course there are going to be situations were you can't, in these events a meeting with them to organise an alternative, making it clear with the other party can remove the confusion in the situation, and even some of the latter listed outcomes. Opposing Argument Now a rather opposing argument is that of my character would never, and keep it in role-play. It's true, characters would interact differently without imposed out of character barriers, but of the end result, are we here for our characters enjoyment or our own. Furthermore this argument is nulled, who among us can say our characters have not been influenced by out of character events or ideas, alone in your town, character has no reason to leave but does so anyway. Meeting someone your character would never associate with. I doubt this will be enforced nor am I suggesting it, I only ask that this be kept in mind to avoid further strife. Simplified When people come together they most likely have differing believes, if they are so drastic that they can not coincide than conflict breaks out. If given the choice role-play with people with similar views so conflict doesn't break out.
