The Petrusian Public Conference

The government of Petrus would like to announce the formation of what is to be called "Public Conference." A place for the current and future citizens of Petrus to receive information and updates regarding the status of the city, as well as to learn of upcoming events that are to take place. Attendees may also voice their own opinions on the city and propose certain changes and policy to take towards the progression of the city.

 

The Public Conference will take place every Imperial Friday at 6pm EST (3pm PST, 11pm GMT, 10am ACST) and the proposed schedule will be as follows:

• Discussion on what is happening next with the city
• Proclamation of new or changes to policy
• Open Forum for citizens of Petrus
• Courthouse - A time to hold trials for criminals and have the people of Petrus stand by as witness. Judgement will be delivered by members of The Hounds at the rank of Captain or Sergeant.
• Promotion of Hounds Ceremony
• Religious Service
• Dismissal

Attendees are encouraged to stay for as much of the conference as possible but it is not required and citizens are free to come and go as they please from the days event.

 

On every Imperial Sunday there shall be a "Week in Review" to also be held at 6pm EST (And associate times.) The following shall be the proposed schedule for the event.

• Summary of major events during the Imperial week across the Human Lands
• Summary of major events during the Imperial week in Petrus
• Makeup Open Forum for citizens of Petrus who missed the Friday event
• Makeup promotions for members of The Hounds who missed the Friday event

As it stands, Public Conference and the Week in Review will be held in the Church of Petrus until another and perhaps more suitable location is determined.

 

We hope to see all of Petrus in attendance and we look forward to hearing what the people have to say. Petrus is a city in a state of great change and progression and every citizen has the ability to influence that change. People are encouraged to voice themselves on anything and everything they think important, be it policy or a suggestion of architecture. We are willing to listen.
