A New Maheral

In his usual spot outside the library, it seems that Delonna has left yet another notice. No shouts to gather accompany this one, which is simply left for citizens to discover when curious.

 

"Guidance. Mediation. To safeguard and protect the tradition and culture, and to intervene when these come under threats. These are the duties of the Maheral of the Mali'aheral. As a beacon of wisdom and guidance, the Maheral is expected to know when he is incapable of carrying out these duties, and select the successor he feels most capable of succeeding him. 

 

I believe this time has come. I wish to announce that I am stepping down as Maheral, and have chosen Iatrilemar Elervathar to serve as the next Maheral.

" her expression turns serious "... but also, those of hardship. May Larihei y nae illumeh llir." she then gives a slight bow oh her head to the new Maheral, and a subtle smile.*

Iat gives a modest bow to them "I am honored. To pair me against Uradir will undoubtedly bring its tribulations but I am ready to accept them in order to guide our people."
