Aifric Driscoll 5 Share Posted March 29, 2015 What’s your Minecraft Account Name?: Stagger1 How old are you?: 16 Are you aware the server is PG-13 (You won’t be denied for being under 13): Yes Have you applied to this server before? (Please link all past applications): No Have you read and agreed to the rules?: Yes What’s the rule you agree with the most?: Not being able to build "structures that defy the laws of physics, underground or automated farms, floating leaves and strip-mining", because I really enjoy servers that adopt a sense of realism into their gameplay, which makes it far more interesting and challenging. Are there any rule(s) that confuse you or don’t make sense?: No How did you find out about Lord of the Craft?: Just searching Google for "fun mine craft role-play servers"! What is roleplaying?: Acting as a fictional character that is different than yourself, and interacting with others in that persona. What is metagaming?: Doing things as your RP character that he shouldn't know, considering what your character has experienced himself. What is power gaming?: Dummied down, making it so you always win in an often unrealistic matter while roleplaying. Character’s name: Aifric Driscoll Character’s gender: Male Character’s race: Human, Highlander Character’s age: 26 Biography: Aifric was born in a small village northwest of Petrus. His father was a humble blacksmith and barely managed to make a living, and his mother had died during childbirth. Aifric spent his days doing chores for his father's smithing shop, from cleaning the furnace to purchasing small amounts of ore from local miners. His life was fairly uneventful until he was twenty years old. A group of bandits had begun a raid on the small village, and the fields and outermost shelters began to burn. He found his father in his shop arming himself, and upon seeing him his father gave him a sword and a knapsack of food. He told him to run as fast as he could towards Petrus, and to alert the King of the bandit raid. Aifric managed to slip past the marauding bandits and made it to a hill overlooking the town. He could see his father bravely fighting against two bandits, stabbing one through the middle. Alas, the other struck him down and set the shop alight. Aifric wandered for a few days, unable to find the road leading to Petrus. His food was running low and he was becoming desperate. One day he finally stumbled across a small road and he collapsed, exhausted from walking and hunger. He fell asleep but was soon rudely awakened by a small caravan that was passing by. They nurtured him back to health and once he had recovered offered him a job with the caravan. He gladly accepted, and over the course of two years worked his way up through the ranks. Eventually he earned the position of Caravan Guard, and he fought many skirmishes against bandits raiding the party. After four years of fighting and killing, however, he wanted to earn repentance for his acts and become a religious man, helping others. He said his goodbyes to the caravan near the Cloud Temple, and hopes to travel to Petrus and join a cathedral or monastery of some sort to begin training to become a priest. This is where I would begin my role-play experience.
