Cam Ford 0 Share Posted April 14, 2015 Out-Of-Character Information Please do your best to correct spelling and grammatical errors, this is an RP server and writing is the main form of communication! What’s your Minecraft Account Name?: Cam68 How old are you?: 46 Are you aware the server is PG-13 (You won’t be denied for being under 13): Yes, I am aware. Have you applied to this server before? (Please link all past applications): No, I had a draft application mostly filled a while ago, but I never submitted it. Have you read and agreed to the rules?: Yes, I have, I understand the rules and agree to abide by them. I spent some time reading all the rules. What’s the rule you agree with the most?: “It is the responsibility of the player to maintain understanding of the existing rules as the Staff Teams update them.” I think it’s important for everyone to be familiar with the current rules and the consequences of breaking them. Are there any rule(s) that confuse you or don’t make sense?(If so we can help clear it up! You will not be denied for having a question on the rules): “When you die in-game, you are forced to forget the roleplay leading up to said death. Acting on information during this “death-time” will be considered meta-gaming, and is severely punishable.” I find this rule slightly confusing, possibly because I have never played before and am unaware of the extent of the rule.. There is a similar rule on Dartmud involving prior knowledge and death, so I am assuming it is similar.. How did you find out about Lord of the Craft? Google, I was looking for an extensive, creative, hard-core rpg type world. Minecraft server list named LOTC. Definitions Feel free to Google the answers or browse our forums, but make sure that you write the reply in your own words, not those of another website or person! What is roleplaying?: To create and develop a character or player that becomes your alter-ego. Assuming their role, habits and persona. What is metagaming?: Is the use of any outside knowledge or information the player’s character would not reasonably be aware of. The use of this information in a RPG environment would not be consistent with the P.C’s natural development or progression. IRL equivalent would be insider trading I suppose… What is powergaming?: Is a method of maximizing your characters more useful or strongest skills i.e. swordplay, whilst ignoring or under-developing less useful skills ‘harvesting’ with the sole intention of levelling up your character in the fastest way possible to gain advantage. On R.P.G. servers with Mcmmo I have seen this often.. In-Character Information Now you actually make your character - be creative but stay reasonable! Make sure they make sense and that they follow lore. Try to come up with a character that you actually want to play. Character’s name: Argen Shieldbearer Character’s gender: Male Character’s race: Dwarf/Mountain Dwarf Character’s age: 46 Biography (Please make it a decent two paragraphs long. Remember to add server lore, and events that happened to your character so that they don’t contradict history.): I entered the world on a rain-swept winter night in the Highlands not far from Kal’Urguan . The wolves were howling around the village that night and it was said I was born on an ominous night. My parents were Iton and Urist, both loving and caring for hard-working mountain folk. I developed onto a strong lad with deep red hair, dark brown eyes and a tanned complexion from outdoor life. My father Iton was a strong warrior and as I grew he taught me the skills I needed to fight and survive. I never grew as tall and broad as my father or brothers, but I was quick to learn and fast on my feet. As I grew into an adult I realised my home, the tiny isolated village where I grew up was no place for me. I prepared and packed, bid goodbye to my family and departed for a new life and a new home… Personality Traits: Ambitions: To survive in this new land initially, then eventually prosper and settle, working hard to build a new home, acquire possessions and accrue wealth. Shy, does not make friends easily, but is very loyal and honest to those few friends. Likes to try new things. Observant, has a keen eye. Enjoys exploring and traveling. Is fond of drink and industry. Weaknesses/Inabilities: Solitary and shy by nature. Has no love for spiders, especially cave spiders. Tends to be forgetful. Has meagre ability with social relationships. Quick to anger at own mistakes. Appearance (List the extra details of your characters appearance, IE; height & weight): Four feet tall, average for a Dwarf 145 pounds, slightly underweight. Red Hair, Brown eyes, and a tanned complexion. Appearance, please provide us a screenshot of your character’s skin (If you need help, see our screenshot guide here):

Would it make sense for you to be killed (you aren't perm. killed, just sent to the Monks) and know the information around your death? Accepted!
