((this is my first one of these stories of sorts! I hope you enjoy reading as much as I enjoyed writing! :D ))

CHAPTER ONE: OF ALSTION AND SPIDERS!

I can remember the day very well! It was a fine, snowy day! Snowy days were often in the north so it was no surprise to the people of Alstion to have one. Men rushed in and out of Alstion, holding many pieces of stone and wood and other things to repair it after the recent undead attack. I myself hadn't been hurt very too badly, but not enough to stop me from helping. We were running out of stone so a another guard of Alstion, Reoigi, asked everyone to donate cobble. I had no cobble on me, at the time, so I offered to go try to mine some. I can just recall what I said.... "If you want, I can go mine some cobble stone near Al'Khazar" I said.

"sure Arkelm, we need as much as we can get!" Reoigi said. So thats exactly what I did! You know how you sometimes feel like you would rather walk leisurely instead of running because it was urgent. Thats how I felt. When I got to Al'Khazar, I put a up a few notes and bought a few things. On my way out to find a decent place to mine, I heard a few men from the FOA yelling about battle. I'm not a big fan of fighting, don't get me wrong, but it felt kind of weird to just walk away from men yelling for fighters. I'm not going to get into what exactly happened then, because thats not what this is about. After that whole thing was over, I gathered a pitiful amount of cobble and made my way back to Alstion.

It started getting very dark. I walked a bit quicker. Have you ever gotten the feeling that your being watched? Well thats how I felt. It was the dead of night now. I started to run. I heard noises. Terrible little noises. I saw the gate and started sprinting. Then, at the exact worst moment, I slammed into a wall of rock. Then suddenly, the biggest spider I had ever seen jumped from a tree and on to the ground. I was frightened. And I mean dead scared, even more so then with the undead! For a moment, the spiders and I just sat there. It's horrible red eyes bore into me, like a sword. The suddenly, the spider lunged at me and dug it's fangs into my shoulder! Everything became all blurry. "It's the end! I'm going to die to a spider, of all things!" I thought. Then, like a blinding flash of lightning, a man came out of the blue and stuck his diamond sword into the spider before the spider could kill me. I had only a moment to feel grateful, because in the next moment, I passed out...

((Tell me if you like this and want me to make the next chapter! If you didn't like it tell me why, and I'll try to do better!)) ((if you thought this chapter was boring, the next chapter will be more interesting! thanks for taking the time to read this! :D )) ((one last thing. Special thanks to Reoigi for just... being in it?))

It definitely got better, but the first paragraph is what draws me in, and there wasn't enough oomph in that to really make me interested, hopefully next one will be better!

((thank your for you comment! I'm trying to really see what captivates people. I'll wright the next chapter, even though it was only you who commented! After this chapter it gets a little... oh I don't know, hard to R.P, I guess, but I'll try my best to do it on the server. And I've read your too! I liked them. :) ))

CHAPTER TWO: THE WANDERING, PART 1: FOREVER LOST

When I woke up, there was a blanket of snow covering me. I had lost most of my memory, and the poison was still active inside me. I got up and looked at my surroundings. "HEY, WHO ARE YOU?! WHAT ARE YOU DOING THERE!? GET AWAY FROM ME YOU FIEND!" I shouted into the cold air. I was delusional. I wandered the entire day. I just wandered. Without purpose. Now that I think about it, I walked in circles. I walked and walked until I found a mountain. "WHO IN BLOODY HECK ARE YOU!? DON'T TAKE THAT! COME ON! DON'T RUN!" I shouted at a rock. I began to slowly climb the mountain. In two days, I reached the summit. At the summit I saw something I will never forget. Floating over the edge of the mountain was my parents. My parents had been maliciously killed by the undead 30 years ago. "Be careful Arkelm. It's dangerous." Said my parents together. "Wh- who are you...?" I asked. The only thing I could remember about them was that I once knew them and loved them. "we are your parents, Arkelm. Be careful. Just know we always look out for you and it wasn't your fault when we died." They said as there Illusion slowly began to fade away. "No. No! No!!! NO!!!!!!" I screamed as I leaped off the mountain side towards my parents, trying to grab there fading image. I hit the ground with a thud.

CHAPTER TWO: THE WANDERING, PART 2: THE MYSTERIOUS MAN

I slowly opened my eyes and got up. I felt the cold hard ground beneath me. I shivered from the cold. It began to snow, which made the air even colder. "who were they... Were they really my parents?" I muttered. My muscles hurt as I started to get up, especially my back muscles, from where I landed on the ground. I managed to pull myself up, and then realized that there was some odd structure right in front of me. The structure was made completely out of stone and was had four pillars connecting from the ground to the roof of the structure. The structure didn't have any walls, and was just big enough and tall enough for two men t o stand in. On one of the small pillars, there was a plaque. The plaque read: "A Place of Peace". The gears turned in my head. I remembered this place. I had once walked by it, taking little heed to what it was or what is was meant for. Now I it was my saving grace. I stayed there by my self for many days. Brushing the snow off it and doing whatever to help it. It made me feel a little more sane to know that for some reason, I knew this thing somehow. I didn't talk much when I was there. As the days went by, though, my condition kept getting worse. The poison still ate away ate me, and the fall from the mountain wasn't healthy for me either. Then, one day, I saw someone.

I man, covered in robes, so you couldn't see his face, or any other part if his body, for that matter. He seemed to be franticly running around, looking for something. Something about him looked familiar, but I couldn't quite tell. It was something about the shape of his body. At this point, I could barely walk, but I decided to try to help this man. "HAIL OVER THERE! Do yoos haves a bottle 'o ale for meh? " I yelled over to him. The man looked around, startled at what might have said that. "Is someone there? I'm guessing if someone is there, then they're drunk. If anyones there, can you assist me?!" The man shouted at the sky. The man looked around a minute more then spotted me. He rushed over to the Place of Peace and smiled at me! "Oh I found you, at last! It must have been you who was calling to me a minute ago! I assume from the poison." He said. I looked at him blankly. I also noticed that he was oddly the same hight as me. "I'm so glad I found you, Arkelm!" He said as he took out a vial from a pouch in his robes. " So my name is really Arkelm?" I asked. " Uh, why yes, it is! Now don't ask questions, but drink the contents of this vial." He said. I just stood there a minute. Then, the poison in my body made my mind erupt with Illusions! The robed man transformed into an undead, trying to trick me into drinking more poison! "LEAVES MEES ALONE UNEAD!" I shrieked. "JUST DRINK IT!" The man yelled as he held me by my neck and poured the liquid from the vial down into my throat! "Aggh! get its outs! GET ITS OUTS NOW!" I screamed while holding my neck trying to force the liquid out, but I just couldn't. Then something unexpected happened. Everything became less blurry, my brain seemed to focus, and the man turned back into being just a robed man, not an undead. The vial was an antidote vial. The poison was gone. "better?" Questioned the man, panting from forcing the antidote down my throat. "much. I'm sorry for my little... 'outburst'. Is there anything I can do?"

I said. "No no! Your too weak from that fall! I'm not much of a healer, but I'll try to tend to your wounds." He said. Hours turned into days. Days turned into months. The man took built us a small wooden house near the Place of Peace. I explained to him that had almost no memory of my background, but he seemed to already know. Slowly, I began to walk again. We shared a lot of conversation. He always was careful to make sure that I couldn't see though his robes. "Will you ever tell me your name?" I asked. "I'm sure you'll find it out by your self, soon enough." He responded. He was always very mysterious. It was the middle of the night. We were both sound asleep. Then suddenly there was a crack of lightning, even though there was no storm outside. Something had caused the lightning and now entered our house.

((since I've already made chapter two two parts, why not make it three? It feels more dramatic to me that way, but maybe it's just me. Next and final part of chapter two in like a half hour. :) ))
